With my Judge’s Prize, one of the big things I was looking for was a properly chaotic Trixie. She’s a treat (and amazingly useful story-wise) when she’s at her wildest. A number of stories satisfied that, but this one stepped forward and also hit one of my other favorite things: I love stuff that happened ‘off-screen’ during other major show events. I could go on for a while about the bits I enjoyed – the finale is great for using an established deus ex machina well; it brings in some of the Equestrian allies who were weirdly absent for the Movie proper and does so in a way that helps the situation make sense; both Starlight and Trixie are adorable. But to be totally honest, I was sold on this one the moment Trixie declared “If the power of friendship will not defeat you, perhaps the Power of Incredible Violence will!” I’m a total sucker for lines like that.

Not satisfied with a mere victory, Captain Blackmane and her friends go on the hunt. Twilight is determined to find the Storm King and make sure he will never be able to harm anyone ever again. It's obviously a mission of reasonable prevention, not murderous revenge. Obviously... Right?

With the Bearers of Harmony sent on a friendship mission by the map, Applejack asked Tempest Shadow to help Granny Smith who’s alone at the farm. Of course, as soon as she gets there, Granny tells Tempest that something important to the Apple family has been stolen, and she needs Tempest’s help to get it back, sending them both to a den of scum and villainy to do so.

Tempest was hoping for a simple day of bucking apples, but it seems Granny is the boss, and she has other plans.

Tempest Shadow finds the path of reformation is not easy for her... it just doesn't feel right. Then she learns of a disquieting trade going on in the Southlands... and then a close friend is ponynapped... and she discovers exactly the kind of pony she is meant to be.

Sequel to MLP: The Movie, covering Tempest's reformation and also tying up loose ends in the movie and prequel comic.

After the invasion of Canterlot, Tempest Shadow - also know as Fizzlepop Berrytwist - struggled to make a place for herself in Equestria among the ponies she once conquered. Unfortunately, it seemed not everyone could be as forgiving as the Princess of Friendship, and she found it somewhat difficult. She found herself wishing for a second chance at a first impression.

She really should have checked who was listening first.

Worlds and years away, can she manage to grow into a different pony and try to make it home? And what will this wish cost her?

After Cozy Glows betrayal Twilight decides she needs to make sure Ponyville is safe even if she and the other Elements are away. Celestia suggest founding a Royal Guard division for Ponyville. Now Twilight much find a Captain to lead it. Now she just needs somepony with leadership experience. A pony kind, understanding, patient, and polite, But also strong, determined and driven. Tempest is at least half those things. Join Tempest and Twilight and the others on a journey of redemption, forgiveness, courage, yelling at new recruits, dealing with annoying ponies, and paperwork. So much paperwork. Just a day in the Life of the captain of the Friendship Knights.

That's how some would describe what those two did. Maybe they're not wrong. But, we were just foals, and after everything I've done since then, how can I possibly consider myself any better?

These thoughts have plagued Fizzlepop Berrytwist, a.k.a Tempest Shadow, ever since the Storm King invasion was thwarted several months ago. Unable to run from her demons any longer, Tempest returns to the place where it all began in the hopes of reconnecting with all those she left behind.

After Spike seeks comfort after the events of The Storm King with the Princesses, Twilight is still concerned about Spike as she wasn't there with his comfort. Little does she know that Spike himself is wondering whether or not he should tell Twilight too.

The Battle of Klugetown was a triumph. A huge success. The combined army of ponies, thestrals, and hippogriffs had liberated the slaves and overthrown Verkos' criminal regime with minimal causalities. Applejack's family anxiously awaited her return, with Applebloom eagerly wanting to hear about the epic battle and the countless acts of heroism that her big sister surely must have carried out.

Indeed, Applejack did have much to tell her family. Not only that, she was also bringing two familiar faces back to Sweet Apple Acres.
