It is only a few years before Daybreaker is released from her banishment, and Luna has yet to find the hero who will save her corrupt sister. But one day, a unicorn catches her attention, and Luna decides to make her student, by the time Luna passes with her pupil, she sees that this unicorn is very different from Twilight Sparkle and sees that this may be the future hero who will save her sister.

Twilight Sparkle has been corrupted by the elements of harmony. The other elements have not, however. They have no idea what to do to help their friend. The background six, (Octavia, Vinyl, Doctor, Derpy, Lyra, and BonBon) are the only ones who can truly help Twilight, her friends, and Equestria, itself. The background six will struggle against several challenges that will drive them to the brink; some that would bring them closer together; and others that may very well lead them to their graves.

~This is my very first story, but hey, I might as well give writing fanfiction a shot.~

Twilight Sparkle never seemed to notice Lyra Heartstrings. She didn't even remember Lyra's name.

They were friends back in Canterlot and even went to school together. Yet Twilight didn't notice that Lyra just happened to move to Ponyville the same day she did. She didn't even notice when Lyra appeared at her welcoming party. Nor did she ever seem to spot her old classmate passing by in the background on any other day during her stay in Ponyville. Some days she could look right at Lyra and never realize that they knew each other.

Lyra isn't a very noticeable pony. She has put a lot of effort into that.

Set in late season 5, after Amending Fences.

Word is spread that Equestria is about to be visited by a small army of humans lead by a rogue pony and a former human resident of Equestria to eliminate the inhabitants. Princess Celestia believes that there are good hearted people in the Human World so she decides to find four good hearted individuals to help her fight off the hostile humans. But how will she react when she finds out that these good hearted people, have a bad background?

I can’t understand literally any of the ponies. Okay, I can understand Pinkie Pie, but that’s it. It’s very awkward.
And not only that, I have to adjust to being a pegasus. And, therefore, two extra appendages - AKA wings.
This will not turn out well.

This story is a sequel to The Once and the Future Princess

As of late, things have changed for Cozy Glow. She is not a prisoner any longer, but Princess Twilight's personal student together with Flurry Heart. She is not alone anymore, but she has made friends with plenty of ponies and become a valued friend in turn. She even has a special somepony! 

Now she is ready to, for the first time in her life, be a normal filly. She will explore the world, learn and grow together with her friends and her mentor.

These are the ordinary days in the life of one of the most extraordinary ponies in Equestria.

This is an anthology series made up of one- and two-shots. Chronologically, this is set after "The Once and Future Princess", but before the Epilogue of that story. Reading the sequel should not be necessary to enjoy these stories by themselves, but it will provide the background for these stories.
