I have wondered a bit about how this topic would go in Equestria.

Wow :pinkiegasp:. Poor Big Mac.

That isn't what I was expecting... not to say it was bad, mind you...

This was an interesting twist on an old concept.

5 stars.

If I may ask, what were you expecting?

Dreadnought

8114764 I was expecting something something like Big Mac needing an organ transplant.

8114773
Well, he will be having a horn attached to his head. Would you consider that an organ transplant?

Dreadnought

Big Macintosh is actually two ponies in a pony costume.

8114781 I meant something along the lines of a heart transplant

I have suspected this about Big Mac. I don't know if you're planning to continue, but I'm curious what the social reaction is to changing tribes.

While this was well written, it feels like it was missing something, so I can't fave it.

8115968
What did you think was missing?

Dreadnought

8116081 I think it's the reactions of the others.
It feels like there should be a bit more to it than just "they should have seen it coming".

Oh sure, it starts with a horn but soon enough they'll be demanding wings as well. :moustache:

I always thought about this... I wondered how it would be getting used to not having a horn? I mean what if they get something thrown at them and they try to use their magic to deflect it but nopes! They get nailed and their ded, poor pone

I'm sure it's a risk she's willing to take.

I know why the caged bird sings, ah me,
When his wing is bruised and his bosom sore,
When he beats his bars and would be free;
It is not a carol of joy or glee,
But a prayer that he sends from his heart's deep core,
But a plea, that upward to Heaven he flings –
I know why the caged bird sings.

Who knows. Maybe I should write a sequel.

Make Big Mac the alicorn princess he deserves to be.

Feels a bit like teasing if not outright cheating to cut off at the point this story does, I must admit. :ajbemused:

An interesting read of the character, though.

Okay, that one made my day. Soon as I hit that last paragraph I started literally laughing out loud. I definitely did not see that coming.

If I may ask, what were you expecting?

Dreadnought

I thought Mac wanted to be FULLY qualified for the next Sisterhooves Social.

8269191
Ah yes, that was my intent.... the old switcheroo.

Dreadnought

I should also say that the last sentence was directed at the audience as much as the members of his family.:pinkiehappy:
