Maybe I should have made it clearer. The changeling took on the form of Twilight to comfort a dying Applejack. She then became Applejack to fulfill her promise.

I like stories like this, where there is a very chilly twist to it. For how you wrote it, it felt like it was the right length. I also enjoyed the descriptions you made about Applejack pulling the cart down the hill and up the gully, and the part about the water. For some reason reading the waterpark made me think of it in SloMo .
Altogether, I really liked it.

This is a powerful story. I think you covered the darker emotions very well.
I've started reading a fic similar to this, The Irony Of Applejack , and I find both amazing! But I wouldn't expect less from Fimfiction.
