With the Stonewood mountains in their sights, the two tribes spiral towards an inevitable and horrific war.

Hypha, a young acolyte, aspires to learn the secrets of mother sky's magic and become a full-fledged monk. When tragedy strikes and his world explodes into violence, can Hypha save the secrets of mother sky's near-unlimited power from the hooves of those who would use it for evil?

Taking on the name of a famous hero, he's hoping to rally the forces against those who would eradicate the dead. Adventure awaits in the four corners of the world, and he's gonna explore...a good portion of it. And throughout it all, he hopes to prove two things:

When news of pony disappearances reaches Canterlot, Princess Celestia implores the girls to travel to the neighboring country of Saddellia, a kingdom of earth ponies ruled by a brutish king. Eagerly accepting this mission, they make the journey and, along the way, meet and save the crown prince of Saddellia, Prince Linden.

Things become difficult when the young heir becomes smitten with Rainbow Dash and royal trickery traps the two in a marriage betrothal. As the pegasus struggles with her growing feelings for Linden, she and her friends quickly learn that there are dark secrets being kept in Saddellia and they all must tread carefully if they are ever to go home again.

Princess Luna, a mare history has long since scorned, always playing second fiddle to her older sister.

Trixie Lulamoon, an egotistical trickster of a mare, hated by Ponyville and most of Equestria for some tricks that got out of hoof.

Both mares, different in almost every way except for just one thing: they want to show the world that they belong. All they did was crave love and admiration, but instead they were cast aside and looked down upon. Together, maybe now they can show everypony their true potential.

Pipsqueak, Captain of the Star Guard and Guardian of the Night, must lead a select few through the dreams of, not only ponies, but all sentient creatures. Acting on Princess Luna’s behalf, Pipsqueak has vowed to travel the lands of Equestria until his impossible task is completed, no matter the personal cost.

But the Nightmare Forces lurk in every shadow and every dream, waiting for Pipsqueak to falter. Can an earth pony, not gifted in magic, fight against the darkness? Only time will tell.

A magic obsessed pegasus finds himself in over his head after being assigned to a cartological expedition to distant islands. Armed with only his knowledge of an obscure branch of magic, and tenuous relationships with his coworkers, he must survive in a hostile tropical jungle that holds both the key to his research and a dark secret that threatens life back on the mainland.

Button Mash has lived in Ponyville for a few months now. Still has no friends, his father is always gone for business trips, his big brother left long ago to join the guard, and now it's usually only him and his mom. His mother tries to talk him into having friends, but he knows all he needs is his joyboy and nothing else. After standing up to a certain, harsh duo of bratty fillies, the Cutie Mark Crusaders want to get to know Button Mash a bit more after seeing him stand up to them.

Ok for everyone here, yeah I know that this pairing is VERY common, I get it. But all of the ones I read put them together right off the bat. If it where a bit more realistic, they would warm up to each other first. So I decided to write my own story of it how I think it might look like. Just so everyone knows, I am not writing this for you guys, I am writing this because I want to and I think a couple of you might like it as well. I did not plan this, I didn't brain storm this, this is my pleasure only and for fun. I write this while I am learning how to be better, so writing styles may change. Hope some of you guys enjoy it, this will be a little long just so you guys know. (P.S. Wtf why isn't Button Mash on the list of character selection?! That hurts me!) Also on a side note, I feel ashamed that I do not have proof, but this story reached the special featured box. The reason why no one saw it is because it was at 1:30 in the morning and it got taken off the list after it was there for 5 minutes I was so heart broken that day. Anyway, so if that get's any credit, it was there if it counts
