Is this the right group to look for any works involving Equestrian interventions at moments in human history notorious for socio-economic and socio-political violations? To wit, in the overt manner of a benevolent invasion or the covert manner of what are superficially criminal acts performed for the greater good (e.g. highway robbery, kidnapping and piracy during the early modern period aimed at undercutting the bigwigs who'd profit off of inflicting misery).

I'll be honest, I wish there were more stories focused on wanting to return to Earth and not wanting to succumb to the "good life" that Equestria provides.
Sort of like a protagonist with a fantastic life on Earth, who suddenly loses everything when he is sent to Equestria and desperately wants to return to Earth because he doesn't want to start from scratch in a new life.
