The Mane Six and Spike got on a trip to Manehattan which they believe to be just an ordinary trip, but what will happen when they discover the town is filled with villains and a teenage spider based real life superhero is their protector!

Marcus Fenix has known almost nothing but war his entire life. It has consumed every aspect of his existence, and it has torn his world apart. After years of fighting and sacrifice, the tides have finally started to turn in favor of humanity. But after their most recent mission goes horribly wrong, Marcus and Delta squad find themselves in a bright world so very unlike their own. Surrounded by a myriad of talking ponies, can the hardened soldiers come to grips with the innocent nature of the realm they now find themselves in? And what will they do when they discover that all is not well in this naive new world?

(A/N: This story takes place before the events of Gear of War 3, and between seasons 2 and 3 of MLP: Friendship is Magic. I've never read most of the supplemental material for Gears, so forgive me if I get some of the background stuff wrong. I'll do my best to research it/correct myself.)

The new land of Equestria has been founded, but real peace still lays just out of hoof's reach for the ponies that inhabit this new world. However hope still clings to the land with the Crystal Empire's examples of unity, all that's needed now is push in the right direction from one of the three factions. But the ideas of old may proof to be little more then a bump in the path for King Sombra as the greatest power in the Crystal Empire begins to turn on it's own master.

Deadpool randomly comes to Equestria and the ponies try to figure out how to send him back to his world, but two previous villains teaming up to take over Equestria is in the way. So, it's up to Twilight and her friends to stop and defeat them, along with the help of Deadpool.

Pinkie Pie has a secret. A secret that no one knows about.

For you see, Pinkie Pie is not a normal pony. Unknown to all but Pinkie herself (though she was not aware of it at first), a bite from a radioactive spider gave her super duper spider powers. But Pinkie Pie ultimately learned the hard way, that with great power, comes great responsibility.

And so, Pinkie Pie vowed to use her powers to defeat crime and corruption. And the superhero known as Spider Mare was born!

In this exciting first issue, you'll witness the birth, and rise of the web slinging mare. Watch as she valiantly defends her hometown of Ponyville from evil villans big and small. See her battle with villans all across Equestria!

Along the way however, she'll have to come to grips with the limits of her powers, and her personal failures.

Trouble is brewing in Equestria, and Spider-Man is summoned to save the day! However, he takes the form of a pony upon his arrival and slowly starts to lose his powers. Now as Peter Pony Parker, he must become Equestria's new hero as the Amazing Spider-Mane, but with past failures haunting his mind, will somepony be able to give him the happiness he deserves and save him from a prophecy that ends with his death?

Across Equestria and through Earth, two hearts will join together, but one may die to ensure the survival of reality...

Spiders and Magic: Rise of Spider-Mane

Shortly after the arrival, and subsequent arrest, of the Rhino and the Green Goblin, Peter finds himself in a lucrative position at the Daily Bugle and despite everything that has happened for him, things are going well. That is until a new villain is in town and this time not only threatens the safety of New York but of the fabric of reality itself! It's all Peter can do to don his mask and defend reality itself.

Meanwhile, Princess Twilight Sparkle is getting used to her new home after the destruction of her precious library. She decides to come to terms with her new position as the Princess of Friendship and tries to figure out what her duties are and what they mean to her life now. So, how can she cope when a stranger literally drops from the sky, causing trouble almost instantly?
