Also, not to nit pick, but it's commonly known that the mane six are actually 3.5 foot tall not 4. that would make Celestia 7 ft which means she would look down on Marcus and that'd be weird, cause, y'know. Gears and locust should be a lot taller then ponies and a damn side more menacing. (But it's your story dude)

Baird is now my new hero. I'm with Applejack on this one. Any time Dash's ego gets taken down a few notches is both healthy for her and hilarious for anyone watching. Therefore Baird remains the king of sarcasm.

971454 Oh, I completely understand his character dynamic, but I have such a problem trying to write dialogue for him that a) sounds like the Cole Train, and b) doesn't make him sound like an idiot. It's truly a fine line to walk between a decent representation of the character, and a racist buffoon. I do have plans for him though, so don't think I'm going to forget about him entirely. Anyways, thank you for the comments and the continued support!
Don't know if you've read the latest Gears book or not but I thought I should mention one thing.
Marcus is afraid of dogs. Hell one gave him that scar on his face while he was in prison.
Baird is the reigning king of sarcasm as always.
