Twilight has discovered a new spell to use in tandem with the Elements of Harmony. Its intent is to reveal more of the mysteries behind the artifacts. Yet once the spell is cast will the mane six be able to deal with the consequences? What will they learn when they come face to face with the very virtues they claim to embody? The good thing is, he probably won't have to. After finding a secret in the Everfree that will turn the entire world upside down.

The world sucks, is it any surprise? No one can really argue that.

Such is the outlook of the man who shows up in Equestria, prepared to kill himself when he feels he's done with the world. But he's stopped, and he angrily decides to follow Twilight, to have her teach him a lesson he never really considered before. Perhaps there's more to the world than the world itself.

Kenny Lee just found something. Something great, powerful, magical even. Kenny has found the Arcana, the only surviving book of the great European Witch Hunt that virtually destroyed all magic on Earth. Of course there was a reason the crazy Christian's of olde hated magic. It was unpredictable and dangerous (Not to mention that it gave wizards and witches an unfair advantage in life). In fact it still is, as Kenny is going to learn.

When you hear the name Enterprise what is the first thing to come to your mind? Is it a Yorktown class aircraft carrier with more medals and honours than you can wave a stick at? Or maybe a starship of the Federation? But what about an ageing Emerald class light cruiser of the Royal Navy who served valiantly in WWII? No? She has been forgotten from history, and this is her story, the untold story of the H.M.S. Enterprise D52. Her story is one of survival and valour, adventure and loss, we open a book untouched by history, to remember, remember the brave men who have faded from history. This is their tale.

Now that we have the hopefully powerful description out of the way, this story isn't historically accurate (Just a warning but really, how accurate is it going to be with talking ponies?) this isn't a HiE or a PoE, oh no, this is something I don't think has been done much, if at all. But alas: Spoilers.

I do not own anything My Little Pony related in this story, other than the story itself. Nor do I own anything pertaining to the Destroyermen series by Taylor Anderson, while not a crossover his work is referenced directly and some basing is from it.

The Shaper is a smith of unparalleled skill, her creations the most sought after in the fallen world. When a pony named Lyra comes to her with a unique commission she has to put all her skill to the test to craft a weapon of great power. For Lyra's goal is not an easy one, and it is not just any weapon that can kill a Dragon.

A story inspired by this and this image, as well as this challenge by CDRW (whose fic A Still More Glorious Dawn Awaits is quite good).

Tartarus.

It has been said to be place in Equestria where evil creatures are held prisoner, and guarded by the mythical three-headed dog, Cerberus. The guardian of this underworld prevents any and all of its inhabitants from escaping into the bright world of Equestria.

However, just as there as many stars in the sky, there are just as many forms of Tartarus and just as many gates. Some of these forms are entirely different worlds, netherworlds spoiled by spite, cruelty, blood soaked taboos, bad one-liners, mimes, and boundless riffraff.

Many a stallion have wondered what lies behind these gates – What worlds are hidden by the darkness guarded by Cerberus? Only the bravest and foolish know, and of those few… Well, they’re more like idiots cause nopony’s ever seen them again once they found that answer.

… What was I talking about again?

Oh, right, the story. So yeah…

As I said, a number of stallions have crossed the gates into Tartarus, but what if a denizen from the Netherworld stumbled into Equestria?

Set before the Royal Wedding, the citizens of Ponyville as well as the Mane Six find themselves subject to a near tragedy outside of town. Naturally, Twilight Sparkle's interest is piqued; and with stranger happenings going on near the Everfree Forest, she begins to uncover a secret that would prefer to remain hidden... At any and all costs.

(A Humans in Equestria story, save without the 'human' part. Expect action, intrigue, drama and adventure. As well as some comedy here and there.)

Discord has given up. Defeated so easily? It's time to retire. But he can't just leave Equestria without chaos can he? So he selects a random human to take up his mantle and to create a new reign of chaos.

Can this human manage new powers? Will he go mad or he will he end up as a statue for foals to gawk at? Is there a third option? Not very likely but with this much power he's going to try his best to create chaos and harmony at the same time.

I do promise to try and keep this light hearted and relatively comedic. Oh right I wrote this in response to the 50 000 word pony story contest. I failed horribly but I thought I'd post what I've got up here. I do plan on finishing this and it being around 50 000 words in the end.

A little warning for you in that the prologue is written very differently then the rest of the story. Also it is mostly unnecessary if you want to skip it altogether. The other thing I promise is that the romance is between ponies only and ponies that appear in the show.

Ever since Princess Luna’s visit one year prior, Ponyville has become the Nightmare Night capital of Equestria. Ponies from all over come to join in the frightful revelry and to perchance catch a glimpse of their reclusive princess of the night. But when a strange stallion makes his appearance, will the night’s harmless fun take on a more sinister tone?

May need to up the rating for gore and blood in later chapters, we shall see.
