Chapter 4

17 April, 1003 Celestia’s Reign
Location: Unknown, P.S. Equestria
4:25pm

Octavia and Rose were still shaken up from the storm, both mares were trying to calm down and enjoy their tea. Octavia looked around her room; there was shattered glass around her nightstand and red wine staining her bed, but she didn't care, she and Rose had survived the most violent storm they had ever encountered with only a few bruises. They both listened intently to the sound of the crew working on the deck above them, clearing debris and trying to unfurl the foremast's sails. Shortly after they left the storm a member of the crew had asked if everything was okay, and with a quick explanation he was on his way to check on the other passengers.

Octavia finished her tea and looked up to Rose. "Hey. I'm going to go up on deck and see if I can help with anything, do you care to join me?" She said as gently as she could.

Rose stared blankly into her cup before matching Octavia's gaze. "Yeah, I think we should do everything we can." She smiled. "I feel like doing something other than moping around in your cabin, something helpful."

Octavia smiled back. "Well, in that case, I think we should start helping. Come on, we may not be in top physical shape, but I'm sure they can give us something." With that said Octavia turned and headed out of the door, followed by Rose.

Upon reaching the deck the two mares took pause to notice the chaos around them. The crew were all actively engaged in clearing the debris and salvage anything they could; Octavia noticed a pony with a clipboard who seemed to be overseeing the rest of the crew. She trotted up to him and asked if she and Rose could be of any help, he closed his eyes and opened his mouth to speak when a lookout above them started to speak. "Possible ship spotted bearing one-five-seven relative!" He shouted towards where the Captain was standing.

Octavia, Rose, and the rest of the crew turned to look in the direction the lookout had stated, but without a telescope they couldn't see anything. If one were to look closely the only thing they may see would be a vague shape on the horizon. "Do you think it's an Equestrian ship?" Rose asked Octavia, her voice filled with mild curiosity.

"It is possible, Equestria has a large ship building industry and nearly controls the sea based trade with other nations." Octavia replied with little curiosity, but maybe a small touch of relief.

"Well it would certainly be of great help and luck that they were nearby; Celestia knows we need luck about now." Rose said with a small smile.

The ship had gotten considerably closer now and Octavia was able to make out more detail. It was fairly small, only maybe 200 hooves in length, it had a single square sail and about two dozen oars on each side. Also mounted on the sides were circular shields with polished iron spikes in the centre, and the most unnerving thing she had ever seen; skulls. There were skulls of creatures she had never seen on the tops of the shields, and she would get a chill every time she looked at them. Octavia had to steel herself from losing her lunch at the ghastly sight, she was watching the ship closely and the creatures on board it made her shudder. They were a greenish grey with rows of razor sharp teeth; they had thick muscular tails and sharp clawed feet. The feet reminded her of that of a hawk, and combined with the equally sharp claws on their hands the creatures absolutely terrified her.

The creatures looked like they had no intention of help at all, in fact, they looked more like they wanted to eat and rip apart anything that was on the Equestria. Shortly after they got close enough to see the monsters the Captain had the ship steam into the wind at full speed. Even without the help of their sail the ship was able to keep up with the Equestria using their oars. Octavia had contemplated the strength it would require to keep up with the steamer at 10 knots and was impressed, although she then thought about what that strength may do to a pony should they gain access to the ship. It was not a pleasant picture and she had to force down another shudder.

The whole time they had been running from the ship Rose sat quietly with wide eyes, fixated on the vessel chasing them. She would occasionally whisper a prayer to Celestia that they would leave them alone, with no such luck. She would watch when the vile creatures would pull out a piece of raw meat and rip it apart; exposing white bone and waving the disgusting thing tauntingly at them. She couldn't take it anymore and closed her eyes, starting to shake. Octavia saw this and walked over to Rose, taking her in a tight embrace to calm her down. Rose buried her face in Octavia's neck, using all her will power to keep the tears from welling up.

"Rose, Rose you need to calm down. Everything will be okay, do you understand me? They can't get us and they'll tire and give up, understand?" Octavia said soothingly; Rose nodded and her shaking became less violent. "I know they are vile, wretched beasts, but we are safe here and to let them get to you will serve only to drive them on. Just... try not to think about what they're doing, what they're eating and how they're doing it." She finished, tightening her embrace for a second before letting Rose go and looking into her eyes.

Octavia could see that she was much calmer now, but she was still scared. Her friend didn't seem to be able to control her emotions as well as she could; during the storm Octavia could see that Rose was having a hard time containing her fear but she managed. Now however, Rose was on the verge of tears and Octavia needed to be strong and act as an emotional crutch to keep her friend from breaking down. Octavia could understand why she was upset and scared; they had just survived a massive storm and now they were being chased by creatures from Tartarus itself. Even she had to admit that she was afraid and would like nothing more than to go home, where she was safe. Rose looked back at the ship before turning to speak to Octavia.

"Why us, why are they chasing us? The Princesses would've told us about such creatures, wouldn't they?" Rose asked, she was calming down but her voice was still laced with fear.

"I don't know why they're chasing us; the only thing I can think of is that they are truly evil and would like nothing more than to kill. While the Princesses know a great deal, I do not believe they know everything, or they chose to withhold some things do to the impact it could have on Equestria. Think back Rose, she never told us about Nightmare Moon and she didn't know who the Changelings were until it was too late." Octavia replied with a thoughtful tone; 'what else may the Princesses be hiding from Equestrians?' She thought to herself; 'or maybe they had no idea about these creatures or even where they come from.'

Octavia was interrupted from her thoughts when the lookout had started to yell to the Captain again. "Sir, another ship, bearing oh-two-five, closing fast!" The lookout cried in alarm.

Octavia turned to see another ship approaching at a speed she wouldn't have thought possible. Due to the crew paying almost full attention to the first ship this vessel was quite close by the time it was spotted. It was quite clearly different even from this distance; it was large, larger than the Equestria and it was a steamer, a dedicated steamer. It had tubes mounted in large box-like housings, they almost looked like cannons, but of the likes Octavia had never seen, or even heard of.

The ship continued its rapid approach and more details came into view. The one that interested Octavia the most was the crew; they appeared bipedal like the reptiles but they were clearly a different species. They wore dark blue uniforms and had very little fur from what she could see, they appeared to be mammal. Unlike the reptiles chasing them, these creatures didn't strike fear into her at sight alone, but they did possess an intimidation factor that demanded respect. Octavia watched as the vessel took a sharp swing to port and stopped, revealing its broadside. Shortly a thunderous roar rang out from one of the tubes impacted near the front of the reptilian ship. 'So they are cannons, and that was clearly a warning shot, maybe they intend to scare off the other creatures through intimidation.' As she thought this however, the reptilian ship turned towards the other ship, the creatures banging their swords against their shields. Octavia could only watch in shock at what transpired next.

Captain Seas watched with interest as this new ship had annihilated the ship chasing them and now steamed parallel with them. He could see their crew staring with open curiosity, much as his crew was doing; but he could see what he assumed was their Captain staring at him in particular. It was clear to Seas that he was sizing him up, and Seas was doing the same to him. He watched the creature extend his foreleg and wave to him; he returned the gesture and watched the creature smile. He smiled back, his curiosity getting the better of him; after all, how often does one get to discover a whole new species and culture?

He looked over the ship; it was large, being more than three times the length of his own and, if the small rust streaks were a sign, iron hulled. He took note of the cost of such a ship, how well armed it was, and the dreary colours of dim yellow, grey, and blue, and came to the conclusion that it was a ship of war. He wondered what race would need a warship of that size and power, but for now he was just happy that they seemed friendly to the Equestria. He took note of their uniforms, dark blue with a white undershirt and gold buttons. He saw the gold lace around the cuffs on some and the red designs on their shoulders; 'rank and position' he thought to himself. What took him the most however was their lack of colours and distinction like ponies had, they appeared to have mostly the same skin colour and their mane colour only seemed to vary a little.

He yawned, and turned to head to his quarters; today's stress had finally overcome him and he needed a rest. His many questions could wait until morning when he was well rested and prepared. He took one last look at the ship before heading down into the Equestria and his bed.

Author's Note:

Wow was this hard due to this cold. Turns out a fever makes it quite hard to think properly, and the dreams I've been having are just so weird. I hate being sick.

Yea it's fairly short, and yes it is quite late. I lost track of time and lack of focus are the reasona for both, well and this fever. I'm not sure how well this chapter turned out being I can't quite think straight, but hopefully it's still enjoyable. The next chapter will be longer and will have human/pony interaction, and hopefully won't take as long to write. (I got this done with 3 min to spare, lol.)

Please excuse the comment section of this chapter, it seems I have a rather odd choice in friends.

A good chapter, but you'll have to excuse my lack of familiarity with the Destroyermen series as I haven't read it, so it's a whole new experience woo!

Aren't fever dreams just the best? That level of weirdness that leaves you very confused in the morning I find hilarious, but that's just me.

I'm interested... hopefully this story does better than other 'Human military ship in Equestria'.

2598058 nether are in equestria

Morals about current planet's inhabitants: Gone.:flutterrage:

I just watched the latest Star Trek movie. Then a new chapter of this story comes out.

Conclusion: I really want to write something Navy-related.

2598255
... oh? I thought they landed in Equestria. Shows how much I know.

2598487 Well they were based off of the "Grik" from the Destroyermen series so they aren't going to be all happy and sunshine. They're not a direct copy however, I plan on getting rid of some traits I didn't like about the Grik.

2597809 Confused and a headache that wouldn't go away, even with advil. I woke up at around 9ish and I just wanted to go back to sleep and do nothing. I didn't even feel like eating. So I started writing this in bits and pieces, spend a couple hours typing then take a break and get on my PS3 for an hour and then back to typing.

Towards the end though my friend on PSN sent me to a chat room and we were speaking the whole time I was trying to type.

And this isn't really a crossover of the Destroyermen series, so there won't be hints to the story other than that one reference. (Maybe a few others, we'll see.) I'd have the "crossover" tag if it was.

2599434 I want to go see the new Star Trek, without spoilers; is it good or meh?

2599684 If you liked the first one, you'll like the second one.

I am interested in reading what your dreams were about. I don't know about others, but my dreams are normally of the 'what the hell' kind of dreams. When I woke up from those dreams, I think back on it and say "Yea, that was fun" in a non sarcastic way.

It was a good chapter and I didn't see any mistakes. Hopefully you get over that cold soon.

flyingfox

2600340 Oh by "what the hell" you have no idea. I don't remember them that well either but the bits I do remember are beyond the "What the bloody fucking hell was that!?" point. The longest bit I remember was me in looking like a pony via hologram and walking with Octavia who had no idea I was a human. Then a dragon comes out of nowhere and we start running and it eats her and I just have a QF 6 pounder AT gun appear out of nowhere and shoot it's head off. I then cut it open with a machete, cut open it's stomach and pull her out. And more weird stuff that hurts to think about. :rainbowderp:

The whole me using a hologram to look like a pony isn't new however. That part is my normal lucid dream trying to maintain control. See being a lucid dreamer I have setup my own little universe and it's not random, all planned and it would make a great story if I decide to type it.

The basics of it is that it's the year 2234 and that humanity has built interdimensional rift generators to explore other universes. I am the Captain of the British Empire's flagship H.M.S. Ajax and was chosen to explore Equestria's dimension to see if their society was ready for First Contact. I was given a Mark V scanner, which looks like a normal watch but with so, so much more, when I first joined the Navy. The Mark V has holo emitters, and nanite control, pluse everything a laptop can do today but with much more power and speed.

So I'm sent to Equestria and am to report back in a month's time with a yes or no answer, the concept of magic was odd at first but my scanner showed it wasn't magic at all. It was a type of radioactive engery that was common place in the universe and the ponies just evolved to harness it with time. After me debunking magic I started to learn about their culture, technological achievement ect ect and I started talking to Octavia quite a bit.

I'd come to her shows and a couple times she would catch me humming classical British songs like Rule Britannia or The British Grenadiers and I'd have to work my way around being discovered. Normally with an "Oh just a little tune I came up with." and stuff. And no matter how much my mind kept saying it was wrong and it's not happening I start to fall in love with her and she with me. So after the month's up I tell the truth and say Equestria isn't ready for First Contact and I try to leave without her seeing but we run into each other on my way out and that begins the whole sad teary "where are you going? Why are you going? And why can't I see you again" and me with the "it's complicated, and I'm so, so sorry Octavia, I really am."

And then I leave with her crying and me all depressed and the other ponies stunned at what just happened. None of them knowing I wasn't a pony and that I was from another universe completely.

So that's my normal dream squence, and the only whole part I can remember from the fever enduced dreams. I've really been thinking about turning the dream into a story, I have the whole unvierse and alternate human timeline where the British Empire never loses it's American colonies and expandes to unite the whole planet under the Union Jack all setup; so it would be fairly easy. They even have warp drive developed in 2121 and Imperial Britain has a large solar Empire controlling dozens of colony worlds.

Pretty complicated right? I nearly wrote a story in this comment alone, heh. :twilightsheepish:

I think you accidentally hit 'post comment' twice. As for your dream universe, I would very much like to see that come together as an actual story here.

My most recent dream, is so far the only with pony, involved me, my brother and Princess Luna playing monkey in the middle, yours truly in the middle, and we were playing inside a huge classroom with all the desks and chairs setup ready for class. Instead of catching the ball though, i would just bat it away and be like YEAH. I had fun though and thats all that matters.

If you wanna hear about the other 2 dreams, doesn't involve ponies, then PM me.

flyingfox

2600802 Yeah I deleted the clone of the comment. Fimfiction likes to glitch out on me and not post my comment after I wait like 5mins, so I hit it again and it posts one. Then I come back to the page a lo and behold, a clone. Curses you evil server.

I'm still unsure about writing a second story, after all I seem to forget to update this one without having a second to worry about. Although the second one I could have so much fun with... it is very tempting.

2600604 You know, if I was a lucid dreamer... the world would be a very different place.

2602037 *Peaked interest* How so? :trixieshiftright:

2602100 I would know if some of my crazy thought up ideas would work haha. Combine lucid dreaming with my "Engineer's" mind. I could make sure that an invention works before I even try and build it. But, who knows haha. That takes all the fun outta bein a redneck

2602326 I see, so you like to build things then? :rainbowwild:

2603931 Well Yes, I do actually. Its allot of fun to figure out if something is going to work or not. I have tons of old equipment I love working with, makes life just that much more bearable.

2604040 I tend to like to fix things not really invent my own stuff. We've got quite a few old cars that we've restored, the one we're currently working on is a 1950 Crosley CD Station Wagon. Micro cars will rule the world! :moustache:

2666563 I know of the purpose of the dazzle camo, I still think it's funny though. I personally like it, because it made the ships look cool. :rainbowwild:

2666576
Oh definitely. It also seemed to be inspiring to the artists of the Terran Trade Authority "Space Wars" series of SciFi art books from Exter publishing in the early 80s. Very classy starships painted in Dazzle, and very fun to look at. :pinkiehappy:

Not a HiE or PoE? No. Both sides trapped together on an alien planet? Yes. Now you've piqued my interest. It sounds to me like they're heading into the unknown... I like the unknown.

I'm anticipating the interactions next chapter. It's what I live (or rather, read) for!

...I get the strangest feeling that you're gonna kill off Octavia in the future.

2675286 I also agree that the first contact/ first reactions are the best part of a story. Glad you like it so far, it'll just make it that much worse for me when I screw up, I have the stangest feeling I will sometime.

Although kill off Octavia? You're like the third person who has stated that, now why would I kill off my favourite pony hmm? Also if I did the story would need the "sad" tag, wouldn't you agree?

2676164

Well, I was kind of half-joking when I said you were going to kill her off. By giving her more screentime in the story, but no prominent role in the scheme of things so far, people may think you're insinuating her impending doom, which may be used for pure emotional effect because we got to know her character well in the span of two or three chapters. Her death, in turn, may be a driving force for future major events, such as a quest for revenge or overwhelming guilt on a character, and will ultimately be one of the biggest plot devices that's driving your story onward.

Or she is for a change of perspective, rather than constantly seeing things through the two gruff captains' eyes. Though because we don't have many other human perspectives other than the captain, I counted this one out and outright assumed you were going to use her death to propel the story forward.

... Or she just happens to be your favorite pony, and you deemed it necessary to give her an obvious role in your story. That's another one.

Since you so vehemently deny that you are going to callously kill her off to make the reader feel some kind of sorrow, may I make the assumption that you will perhaps use Rose instead?

... But enough of that serious McSeriousPantsness! If it isn't my old adversary, my worst enemy, the bane of my existence; Paddle Steamer, AKA Cpt. Edwin! How goes that precious ship of yours?
...
Wait, no, don't answer that. Your ship is telling me...
...
...
...
Mmmhm...
...
...
Eeyup...
...
Yes, yes, me and your ship had a rather spiffy conversation over a cup of tea! Isn't that right, Armageddon?

"..."

She is a rather chatty fellow. And quite beautiful too; her paint job is simply marvelous! Why, she'd make a fabulous LZ for my AC-130!

2677461 Oh she gets important later on, and there will be more human crew perspectives later on as well. As for Rose, well. I'll leave you with this emoticon: :trollestia: (Which does absolutely nothing to tell you what's going to happen to her.)

You're the second person to confuse Agamemnon for Armageddon... how is this possible? It's not like I made the name up, search the Royal Navy records, there are plenty of Agamemnon's. It's also a fun word to say. :pinkiehappy:

And yeah... how are you talking to a ship? It doesn't even have a mainframe! Also, I'm still in the bridge, and I see no planes on my deck. And the AA will make sure it stays that way, that and the shields. Also; she's a dreadnought, not a carrier. You'd hit a turret before your plane had the chance to stop. The only aircraft on her are the Newcastle Mark III landing craft, maybe one or two Tornado Mark XIII fighters. (Both of which have VTOL in order to land in the hangar bay.)

Also, Octavia still hasn't forgiven you. I don't think she ever will. I can't blame her, you did kill her after all. And broke her cello. Although she does enjoy her British made one, it is of the highest quality.

2677579

You have my apology. Not apologies. Only one. Not plural.
But yeah, I was reciting the name by memory; I knew it wasn't Armageddon but I didn't feel like checking so I just chose the closest word. :p

And giving Trollestia's face? Yeah, you just assured me that Rose is gonna take a dirt nap. Or is it water nap? Sea nap? H2O nap? Saltwater nap?

Who said anything about landing on the turrets? That 's what explosive rounds are for, my good man...

Besides. I'm a ship whisperer. And plane whisperer. And a tank whisperer.

Octavia hasn't forgiven me? I thought she was from Equestria; the land of love and tolerance. Just lookit the Mane Six. And the entire pony population. They revere me as a god-king-juggernaut-supreme-major-general-firstclass-admiral-captain-yolo-swag-quickscoper for saving their lives.

2677671 It's not the utopia people make it out to be, if you watch the backround poines you'd know it's about the same as a small town here. Silver Spoon and Diamond Tiara are further proof of this, so are how the Canterlot ponies acted in like, everytime the mane 6 went to Canterlot. (Which was snobbish, selfish and condecending, like the majority of real life rich people.) The mane 6 were chosen as the Elements because they were unique, if everypony was as good as people seem to take them as then the Elements would've been able to be slapped on any ol' pony who found them.

Again, starship = in space + starship = shields + AA guns = nope.

Oh and did you even think that maybe Trollestia is there to troll you? By her appearence you automaticly assumed that meant Rose was going to be sleeping with the fishies, ever think that may have been her plan? To mislead you. After all, we're talking about her > :trollestia:

Sorry for any grammar mistakes and the really short comeback for the silly part: I'm way too tired to think straight. So off to bed I go, high ho, high ho, off to bed I go. (Hums while I go to do one last thing before bed.)

2677840

Hm. Yes. A most good bye.

2677840>>2677884
You were cheating on me? Or cheating on him with me. Or.... Ah whatever. I destroyed your ship. With a tiny twenty meter ship. (then again it is a highly advanced Predator-Class Assault Vehicle, fully armed and with a sarcastic Artificial Intelligence named Lobo) So yeah! And I killed Octavia Twice!

Who cares if it was in a sim!

Hell, I made Edwin Doyle sing Monty Python's Galaxy song to Octavia! There is no way that that unknown pony could have been better than me! In fact, I just sent a splitter missile into his AC130. From orbit. Which will split apart into twenty different missiles, all with advanced evasive programming, locked on to his AC130's unique signature, on energy, thermal, and image recognizing! just before impact an EMP blast will encompass the plane, followed by the missiles detonating and engulfing it in plasma and radiation, effectively disintegrating the plane and killing all organic inhabitants. Plus all ammunition on said plane will have detonated too, sooo... yeah...

Beat that you cyberpony!

2702416

Easy peasy.

I'll just use the Elements of Harmony on board my gunship to encase the entire thing in a magical barrier, which will be unaffected by the EMP due to being purely magical, which will give the plane enough time to activate the shields and block your missile barrage.
*Crawls out the top of the gunship and starts firing his 9mm pistol into space where the strike came from. A satisfying explosion in space was seen, so Unknown went back into his gunship to resume his game of Scrabble with the Mane 6.*

2702656

Wondering how the hell he had hit the explodium asteroid with a 9mm pistol and how his plane didn't crash even though it HAD ABSOLUTELY NO ELECTRICAL POWER DUE TO THE EMP PASSING THROUGH THE MAGICAL BARRIER AND ACROSS IT, I sent back a stealth barrage, this time using camo missiles that are undetectable by any known forms of scanner. Thankfully, my PCAV can withstand a full on nuclear blast, nothing that the cruising AC130 had could harm it.

Higher in space, the Enterprise (star trek, not this enterprise) stood by, ready to teleport out the mane six. A small, insignificant explosion took place in the atmosphere of the massive planet, the flaming carnage visible only to the smiling orange pony in the HEV suit, watching the monitors in his PCAV.

2702683

Duh. It's magic. Your argument is invalid.

Oh, that explosion? That was me, sorry. Me and Pinkie were playing hot potato with semtex, before the 6 suddenly teleported away. Strange.

More missiles? Stealth? Thank goodness I still have those 'cheap cereal box' X-ray glasses that Paddle Steamer generously gave me for only my whole life savings. T'was how I got to Equestria in the first place. Anyway, all your missiles were spotted personally by me, and I quickscoped them out of the air.

You claim your PCAV is invulnerable to any weapon my AC-130 has; you didn't mention any weapons on my person.
*Unknown takes aim into the sky with his 9mm, and fires exactly four shots. A giant blast shook the whole universe.*
"Huh. Too bad the 6 were on board that ship. I was gonna race Dash on foot with my Juggernaut suit still equipped."

2702774
Lol, you blew up the enterprise. my PCAV is still here. Have a full barrage of missiles, which includes over thirty different missiles, each with their own specific qualities. Some of them split into smaller, harder to hit missiles, which are just as deadly, so you are faced with approxamately a hundred different missiles and projectiles, each with explosive capabilities. There go the EMPs, your airship is now falling, there go the incendiary rains, melting through your airship with the molten drops of metal. Have fun when the plasmas and the electro-shock and the spiked and poisoned ones reach you, if you survive the fall that is...

2702857

"Abandon gunship, Pvt! We could always resurrect Pinkie so she could build us another!"

*We jump out of the falling gunship, and we face an apocalypse of missiles*

Easy.

*I shoot one missile with my trusty 9mm, causing a chain reaction that blows up all other missiles*

I replace my M9 into its holster.
"... So, Pvt. Astor, what do we do now? Freefall is so boring "
'No idea sir. I suppose we wait?'

*So the Juggernaut and GIGN trooper waited, and right before they hit the ground, they activated their Armor Lock systems, rendering the fall damage and any other kind of harmful force null and void*

*I wave to the sky, knowing that yet another evil mastermind made another attempt on my life, and is currently planning his next attack. I snile under my helmet, knowing that nothing can defeat my OP M9 and Armor Lock*

*I begin to draw a circle in the ground, preparing to bring back the Mane Six again...*

2702962

There is only one thing that can defeat someone OP, especially if they can use a Halo ability.

Pressing a button on my suit, I start the transformation, urging Lobo to rocket towards the two troopers doing something on the ground. A short laser burst dispatches the Pvt. while I wait for the right moment, my transformation complete.

Just as
lobo screams overhead of the Juggernaut, I jump out, landing inside a massive dust cloud. Lobo pulls away. This starts playing (skip to 0:40) as the dust cloud clears, revealing me standing their in a badass crouch, holding a crowbar in one hand while the rest of my body is covered in orange, impregnable reactive armor. Pushing my glasses onto my face, I walk foward slowly, keeping time with the music. The stunned Juggernaut only stares back, until the music stops, which is when I rush foward swinging my crowbar into the side of the Juggernaut's face, the red steel of the weapon shining in the dull light. The Juggernaut is launched away from the sheer force of the blow, landing forty meters away and leaving a large gash in the countryside.

I just went Gary Sue. Using Gordon Freeman. There is no defeating me now! MUHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA:flutterrage::flutterrage::flutterrage::flutterrage::flutterrage::flutterrage::flutterrage::pinkiecrazy::pinkiecrazy::pinkiecrazy::pinkiecrazy::pinkiecrazy::pinkiecrazy::trollestia:

You think you have me defeated? Ha, far from it. You used your supermove, it's high time I used mine. And you thought I was OP? Zat vas nozhing...

The Unknown Juggernaut slowly got out of his prison of rubble and got to his feet. He spotted Freeman, who was still reveling in his victory. Disengaging his armor's restrictive functions, he sprinted towards his equally powerful adversary. He delivered a one-two combo into his opponent's gut, then configured his Galvaknuckles to emit an electrical force-field upon impact, and jabbed Freeman with it.

With his enemy binded and unable to move, Unknown made his move. Using his Pip-Boy3000, he set the coordinates for his personal ARCHIMEDES satellite orbital strike: on himself. He set his Galvaknuckles to absorb energy, and lifted his arms imto the air. The giant laser made contact with his hands, which began concentrating the energy into a ball.

Freeman was beginning to break free, so he knew he had to hurry. With the giant ball of energy resembling a second sun, which was already beginning to melt his armor, Unknown hurled the ball with all his strength at Freeman. The ensuing explosion shook Equestria, and the Juggernaut and Pvt. Astor, who had just recovered, had to activate their Armor Locks just to survive the blast.

40% DAMAGE!!!

Looking at the rubble, Unknown knew it would not hold Freeman for long. He and the Pvt. fast- traveled from the wasteland to their bunker under Canterlot. He had to plan for Gordon's next attack... And bring back the Elements... Again... Which he was about to do before he was so rudely interrupted...

2702316 Yes I saw that, but "hooves" just wouldn't sound as good, so I kept it. Good eye though.

2702374 Actually I didn't write the ponies seeing the British White Ensign. That was going to be on the next chapter... not sure what you meant.

2702962 2703204 And then the Agamemnon drops out of warp over Equestria, puts on open comms, and tells you both to shut up and stop acting like fools. :rainbowwild:

2702332 Also stop being lazy and tell me them so I can fix them. Or else I'll send Pinkie Pie after you.

2703561
Oops, I saw the paragraph where they saw the unknown ship, and then after the break was an image of the flag. I connected the dots. I'd suggest removing the picture, as it lends the reader the sense that the Equestria had seen the Enterprise

And don';t you mean acting like...

*Puts on sunglasses*

Foals?

2703837

Heheh... It seems we can actually come to an agreement on something... Gordon. We were acting like foals, but I believe that a bit of nonsense (and OP) every now and then is good for the soul.

2703561

Lol. Armageddon, you say? Thought she retreated.

2703900
It's Agamemnon Dofus!
*whacks you in the head with crowbar, sending you flying into a massive pile of cow shit that had been recently shoveled there by a nearby farmer*

"Hey you kids, stay outta my farm!" The farmer yelled.

"eh, whatever!" I replied.

2703939

I know. Just wanted to see if anyone would correct me a second time.

2703969
*holds nose*
Dude, you stink. You smell worse than I did after getting covered in alien guts and swimming in a sewer. Go take a shower.

2703837 The flag is to let you know it changed to the British POV. And I'm keeping it. So suck it. :rainbowwild:

2703900 And for the last time, the ship doesn't have an AI, it is not sentient or sapient.

Now to get some popcorn and watch the arguments commence.

2704027
Suck what? There's nothing there! :rainbowlaugh::rainbowlaugh:

Your mom told me last night!:pinkiehappy::pinkiehappy::pinkiehappy:

(Oh my gods, I sound like a fucking teenaged dueche bag)

2704051
But, you know, wouldn't it be great if everyone had a gun?
