"And that's how we like to do it on the murder scene."

Raindrops "Killjoy" Merryweather is many things: a borderline vigilante, reckless bounty hunter, and probably a horrible pony. She's not, however, a hero. But when a close friend is murdered, Raindrops takes it upon herself to avenge his death. She isn't going to let the law, the cops, or her friends get in her way.

Raindrops isn't a hero: she wasn't one before, and she surely won't be one now. But she'd rather be a villain than be nobody at all.

This story is a spinoff/extension of PonyJosiah13's Ponyville Noire series. Knowledge of that story isn't necessary but I recommend you read it anyways.

Thanks to Seriff Pilcrow, Silent Whisper, Vis a Viscera, hawthornbunny, and Mykola for prereading various parts.

Thanks to EverfreePony for once again editing and prereading.

Twilight knew that when two ponies loved each other as much as she and Rarity did, moving in together would make everything better.
So why wasn't that happening now?

Winner of the 'Classic Contest' in the Quills and Sofas Speedwriting Group. Written in an hour and presented with minor edits here.

Canterlot had been Lyra's home for a long time. She had many fond memories of it, of the streets, of the shops, and of the ponies she'd met there. Her favorite memory of Canterlot, however, was leaving it, and that was because of the soulmate she found soon afterwards.

Part of the Pride and Positivity event.

Third place in the Quills and Sofas Speedwriting Pride Contest. Happy (late) Pride Month!

A thank you to Lofty Withers for editing and RubyDubious, Snow Quill, themoontonite, Seer, wishcometrue, and AstralMouse for proofreading before publishing. More thanks to Snow Quill, Silent Whisper, and Vis-a-Viscera for help with the descriptions.

Luna has requested a private meeting with Princess Twilight Sparkle under specific circumstances. In the dead of a dark, cloudy night, they venture into the tunnels beneath Canterlot's castle.

Expanded from my second-place entry into the Quills and Sofas Speedwriting group Panic! Fiction "Princess" Contest. The contest simply required that we use any canon Princess.

I know the [Adventure] tag may seem a little odd after first reading, but it was probably the closest I could get to how it all turned out.

A gift for themoontonite for always being an unfailingly kind and chill person who never fails to cheer me up.

Sometimes, it takes little moments and chance meetings to feel warm again.

My entry to the Right Back at it Again Contest. This story was inspired by two things: the story Coming in From the Cold by Timaeus and the song Dasher by Gerard Way. The story was originally a Quills and Sofas Speedwriting Entry during an open prompt contest where it tied for second.

Thank you to MasterThief, TheLegendaryBillCipher, Koren, Vis-a-Viscera, Seer, N30, Snow Quill, and ScopingLandscape for prereading during/after the contest.

Rarity knows it's anything but.

An entry to the Depth in Innocence Contest.

The original draft of this story was an entry for the Quills and Sofas Speedwriting Joy of Youth Contest. The prompt was "The Sound of Distant Thunder". This version has received significant expansion, editing, and refinement during the month of May.

Ever since Rainbow Dash moved to Ponyville, Fluttershy's cabin was a place of safety for her. A refuge from the hurt and confusion of the world. So why did her heart sting when she looked in Fluttershy's eyes?

Please do check out the sequel by Silent Whisper. One of the more enchanting pieces I've read and a better sequel than I ever could've written. Delightful stuff.

This story is a sequel to Futile Devices

Fluttershy had a plan to tell Rainbow Dash her true feelings, and this time she wouldn't back down. Everything would be perfect. It had to be. Rainbow deserved the best, after all.

Edited/proofread by: The Legendary Bill Cipher, Zontan, Lofty, Red Parade, Moonshot, Stynger Skies, themoontonite, Regidar, Wishcometrue, Drider, Schattendrache, The Hat Man, Seer, Flashgen, ZeroMonkey, Skye Jr, Nailah, and Dreamer Deceiver. Thank you so much for all your help!

Written for the Expanding Universes contest for the Quills and Sofas Speedwriting Group. The prompt was for each of us to submit a story, and then someone else would write a prequel or a sequel. I was so excited to get themoontonite's brilliant Futile Devices as my prompt. You can find us on Discord here! We're pretty fun, in my opinion, and sometimes we even write things!

Lightning Dust will never be a Wonderbolt. When she left the Academy, she swore she'd never look back. When the Washouts disbanded, she swore she'd forget about them.

Yet after all these years, against all odds, she finds herself here. At a Wonderbolts show. Just on the wrong side of the glass.

Entry into a Sofa and Quills Speedwriting contest, where it placed first! Written in the span of half an hour (time limit was an hour but I had to go early) with the prompts 'candy' and 'bittersweet.'
