Princess Twilight, for all of her knowledge, didn't particularly know that much about Celestia or Luna's past. In an attempt to figure out more about her peers she digs up the infamous time travel spell. Jumping at the chance to gather first-hoof about the only other immortal ponies she dives head first into the past!

Finding that she has stumbled into helping the Princesses on a mighty quest she isn't hesitant to lend a helping hoof but her resolve is quickly tested when not all is what it seems and the past, and present, of Equestria is put at stake!

Follow Twilight, and the would-be Princesses, across the world as they track down dangerous artefacts, delve into dilapidated dungeons and avoid disaster in a race against time itself!

• Romance will, eventually, be between Luna, Celestia and Twilight.
• This story will include gratuitous amounts of cuteness at times.
• There will be action and a little dark here and there, but only because it's the past and fighting does occur. It won't be a regular thing, trust me.
• There is time travel and Twilight will be jumping around the timeline. But don't think about it too much!
• The AU tag is only there due to the Princesses still being there, as well as the whole world existing before Equestria thing.
• The world this story takes place in is: Equestria and Beyond. I absolutely love the detail which was put into this. Obviously there's parts not included, such as the Crystal Empire, etc.

In the aftermath of a Canterlot Wedding Invasion, Twilight decides to leave on her own. Far away from feeling abandon of betrayal, trust, and friendship. Until she heard some kind of whispers or voices calling to her from the Crystal Cave she recently escaped with Cadence. Finally arriving at the cave entrance, Twilight walks inside it and sees a glowing tainted light. Not knowing the danger, Twilight tries walking closer to it until something inside the tainted light grabs a hold of her and drags her in. Twilight later wakes up upon seeing a burned town and felt strange that her whole body transformed into a human. Then something told her to look behind her and sees a lone tall figure on the back of his horse looking down at her. What'll happen when Twilight faces the King of Darkness and will Equestria ever be safe without her?

Queen Chrysalis and her changeling army have been defeated but it came at a price as Twilight Sparkle hurt and betrayed by her brother, friends, and mentor for abandoning them runs away only to loss her life after an unfortunate accident occurred on the way home.
Shortly afterwards, a new mysterious unicorn comes to town trying to settle down in Equestria yet unbeknownst to any pony she secretly has sinister plans up her hooves with a hidden agenda to take over Equestria.

After the events of "A Canterlot Wedding: Part One," Twilight Sparkle encounters the League of Extraordinary Misfits, a group of outcasts each from a different world. The League decides to adopt Twilight as one of their own and help her take revenge on the ponies who coldly dismissed her. But Twilight surely wouldn't want something like that to happen to her friends...would she?

After the twilight was betrayed and abandoned by her friend, BBBFF and her mentor. She was imprisoned by fake cadence in a crystal cave below the canterlot. While she was in despair, a voice called "Welcome ... Master".

This is my first time writing a story so it won't be very good, anyway thanks for watching.

8 years have passed since that fateful test, and Twilight has been taken under the wing of Celestia; to become the next heir to the throne. However, a Nightmare from the past will challenge that right.

Recently an uprising has been gaining traction, the Cult of the Nightmare Moon. They've been relentlessly promoting the return of Celestia's sister: the infamous Mare in the Moon. Years ago, they did something Twilight will never forgive. They took something precious from her. Something she can never replace. Her very being yearns for revenge.

When the sun goes down and with Nightmare Moon's return inevitable...one can't help but wonder, which one is the real Nightmare?

Unicorns are Elite. Just ask them. All must enroll in Celestia's Magical University in Canterlot. The motto however is adhered to without exception: Only the best, only the Elite. May Celestia show them mercy if they fail any task. The Princess however, has none to give.

In a society where knowledge is power, the unicorns of Canterlot refuse to be anything less than the best. Everything depends on it. Everything. Money, friends, it all is based solely on how well you've done at the Academy. Failure is not an option. But don't fret, even the failures will graduate...Eventually. They have to. Because at any cost all Unicorns must be:

Only the Best, only the Elite.

In an Equestria much different from what we know, Princess Luna has ruled the young nation fairly for several years now and has recently earned her cutie mark when she raised both the sun and moon together.

Now though, a letter has come from the Crystal Empire, a country that is still little known of. It seems that the reigning monarch's daughter is soon to come of age, and her mother is eager to help establish ties with Equestria.

Now more than a little curious, and also eager to establish ties with a country that is much older than her own, Luna accepts the invitation to the young mare's Royal Crystaling.

But Princess Mi Amore Amicitia is much more than her mother let on. A fact that will shock and surprise Luna when they finally meet.

Princess Mi Amora Amicitia, or Twilight Sparkle to the few that know her Personal Name, may be the reigning Crystal Princess of the Crystal Empire. But that doesn't mean she can't be a normal pony when she wants too.

She hangs out with her friends, mingles with the crystal ponies, and has hopes and dreams just like any other pony her age.

Granted, she will one day ascend the throne as the next Crystal Empress. But that's never stopped her from trying to be as normal as possible.

But in a world that has just endured the Three Tribes Era and the Windigo Winter brought on by the racial hatred of the Three Tribes, normal is anything but for her and her friends.

These are some of their stories.

Twilight Sparkle is undeniably a prodigy and has the skill and knowledge of a unicorn five years her elder as well as the power of one as well. This knowledge and power has drawn Princess Celestia's attention, with the alicorn beginning to wonder if the young unicorn will be the one to fulfill an ancient prophecy that would save her sister. A prophecy that would have come to fruition, had the alicorn's own checkered past not come back to doom the filly to a life of fire and brimstone.
