Chap 4: rescue the wedding

At the Crystal Cave

The crystal pillars were destroyed, smoke and dust were everywhere obscuring her view. After few minute the dust started to disappear, now she could clearly see the creature crying ... And what was unexpected was a pony whom she did not think would appear below, the image of a pink alicorn whom imprisoning her in this dark cave reappeared in her mind. However, she didn't feel angry at all, even though she knew she should, but she just didn't feel anything as if all her feelings had disappeared. She felt her heart was very cold.

Cadence felt a little disappointed that Twilight didn't show any joy or happiness when seeing her again. After all, their like two sisters. And she was so happy to be able to see twilight again after her, aunt Princess Celestia sent her to Ponyvill to learn about friendship.

After the song ended Cadence and Twilight found the exit, but they were stopped by the bridesmaids who were brainwashed by Chrysalis.

Cadence was about to protest, but when she saw that calm and cold gaze of the Twilight she nodded and said "be careful Twilight" after seeing the Twilight nodding lightly to herself she ran away.

At the wedding hall

All the ponies have arrived to attend the wedding of the Royal Guard Shining Armor and Princess Mi Armore Cadenza.

In the front row is the father and mother of Shining Armor and Twilight are sitting, main five is standing on the podium as the mares of honor of Shining Armor after he removed his sister position and in the middle of the podium is Princess Celestia and Spike is standing with Shining Armor.

Both Princess Celestia, Main Five and Spike are very nervous and excited on this big day of Cadence and Shining Armor. However, they all felt sad without the silhouette of a purple unicorn. They don't understand why the Twilight is acting like this, this is her BBBFF's wedding, she should be happy, but why is she acting so monopoly? A sound of a trumpet signaled the beginning of the wedding, all the Twilight friends and mentor were free of their thoughts.

Love the story! It’s quite an interesting concept. Just wondering though did you change Twi and Cadence’s song? Just wondering cause in the original it’s “Clap your hooves and do a little shake”

I think they should be fake Cadence's bridesmaids, or at least in the canon they were. I'm assuming the 'before' of the story progressed normally like the episode and, if so their roles would stay the same.

Apart from that, I'm liking the story.

So i'm not a Writer nor am I a proof reader, but I do read a lot

English isn't your first language right? A lot of small mistakes as well as improper uses of words... Monopoly, for exemple should be replaced with possessively (also the word used in the show), the first term has more uses in the economic world than the social one. Also, you don't use "the" before the name of a character, "the" is a specific pronoun, and is used in order to separate an object from other similar item (exemple : a throne - a random chair like many other. THE Throne Celestia is sitting on - there is only one so you specify it), that is to say, the first name of an individual (Twilight) is specifying enough that "the" is redundant.

Otherwise you have redundancy in many dialogue, parts of talk that could be replaced by more vocabulary, or outright deleted.

So, now that I got what bugged me out of the way, what I like, in general, is the use of the weding as a starting point, especially for a divergeant Twilight, the introduction of the Power is well done, pro and cons are told, and though we didn't have Twilight internal tought, the previous moment were she expend on her problem to a sentient gem should clue us enought, that's a good point (and is also a part I found redundant as she was already weeping before the crystal talked to her). Keep in mind to always describe the mood of a character who is important in a scene as emotion will be trough them, and if location are of particular importance expand on them, it anchor the scene and give some ambiance (a weding should feel quite festive while it's read).

For now a good 6.5/10 on my personnal scale i'll follow, and if I see things i like later perhaps I'll fav. I rarely do such a long comment and i'm not a pro, my advice may not be usefull, but I hope it'll help still.
