in the Everfree Forest
Ever since she left Ponyville and into this forest had been thirty minutes, if it's her before, she would surely be scared and tremble at the scary Everfree forest. However, she's no longer Twilight Sparkle, faithful student of Princess Celestial, or Element Of Magic. Now, she is the Death Lord, who keeps the balance between life and death. Her existence is the fear of those who threaten the balance.
‘Huh ... I guess I went into the depths of the forest ... But so far It have had no monsters in the forest appearing and threatening me ... Could it be ... They’re ... Scared of me?’ Twilight thought uncertainty. Because as far as she knows of the Everfree Forest, it is the home of creepy creatures like Manticore, Timber wolf, Creatures, ... And they will attack and eat any creature that invades territory of them. But ... Ever since she entered the Everfree Forest until now, there have been no creatures appearing to attack her ... It was as if the entire forest feared her presence.
‘Of course, master. Although the creatures in this forest do not know you are the Death Lord, they can still feel the overwhelming power from you. And because you have not been able to fully control your power, as well as how to hide your power, so other creatures can still sense and feel threatened by that power.’ says Death.
‘Death? ... Can I ask you something?’ Twilight asked.
‘Yes, of course. My master, as long as it's something I know, I'll answer all your questions.’ Death said.
‘Uh... Before, when you and I were in the Crystal Cave, you told me your power was the curse of the gift wasn't it? I'm not sure I understand your statement, can you explain it more clearly?’ Twilight asked.
‘Yes, it is true, master. And it wasn't just my power called the ‘curse of the gift' but they called all the crystals of darkness ... For all Masters including Eternal Masters and Temporary Masters Of the dark crystals, our power is both a gift and a curse to them. We are gifts because we give them the ultimate power that no one else has.’
‘But everything has its price, and the price of those ultimate powers is the solitary and eternal emptiness, and the things they have to do to protect the balance of the universe. Like they have to destroy a world that has lost its balance, or they will have to kill anyone who threatens that balance, even if it is their family, or their lover. Those who possess our power will suffer such things as a curse, especially our Eternal Masters.’ Death explained.
Twilight kept walking while listening to Death's explanation. ‘I can understand that ... But, what do you mean they have to destroy unbalanced worlds? Why must we do so? Don't we just have to destroy those who are causing the imbalance? Why destroy it?’ Twilight asked.
‘As I said before. Masters are tasked with keeping the universe balanced, and they must destroy anything or anyone who threatens that balance. And the reason they have to do it, is that if they don't, then the imbalance will create destructive black holes, they will swallow the entire universe and destroy it. When a world is out of balance, it will create black holes, they can be small at first, but if we do nothing, they will gradually swallow that world and get bigger. Until they eat all that world, they will roam to other parallel worlds and devour them until the entire universe’s swallowed up and destroyed by it,’ Death explained.
Twilight fell silent and listened to Death's explanation, surrounded by no sound except her footsteps. Before she met Death and became Lord Of Death, she had never known the existence of parallel worlds as well as those who defended the balance of the universe. All she knew was to make friends, rescue Equestrian and please her mentor. However, now that she knows that not everything can be solved with friendship and Element Of Harmony, sometimes cruelty’s needed to protect something bigger. And now she understood why the power she possessed got called the “curse of the gift” and she also understood why the owners of the Crystals had lost their emotions, that was to so their feelings cannot affect their judgment.
‘I want to ask one more thing. What do you mean the Crystals of darkness mean? How many Crystals Of Balance are there?’ Twilight asked.
‘yes my master, there are a total of five Crystal Of Balance created in the universe, that is I Crystal Of Death, the ultimate power of death, the Crystal Of Life, the ultimate power of life, the Crystal Of Reborn power the power of rebirth, Crystal Of Destroy the power of destruction, and finally the Crystal Of Space-Time the power of Space-Time. Of which Crystal Of Death and Crystal Of Destroy belong to darkness, Crystal Of Life and Crystal Of Reborn are light systems and Crystal Of Space-Time is neutral, it is neither darkness nor light.’
‘And of course darkness is always more suitable for destruction than light so owners of Light Crystals only need to look after life and regenerate it. The owners of the Dark Crystals are responsible for destroying anything that threatens the balance. The owners of the Crystal Of Space-Time only keep the balance between the timeline and spaces, they must eliminate those who break the rules of Space-Time, but they do not have to destroy the unbalanced worlds.’
‘But apart from the Crystal Of Balance, there are two other elements that exist longer than us, that is Dark and Light. And they are not the same Crystal as us, they are Spirit Of Darkness and Spirit Of Light, they existed since creation of the universe, at that time there was no life, death, destruction, rebirths, time lines and Space, at which time the universe exists nothing but darkness and light. Spirit Of Darkness is responsible for destroying anything that threatens existence of the universe and Spirit Of Light is responsible for spreading light throughout the universe. Their power is even stronger than that of Crystal Of Balance.’
Twilight was truly impressed with what she was told about those who defended the balance of the universe.
‘So have any of you met Spirit Of Light and Sprit Of Darkness?’ Twilight asked. She wanted to know more about these two special spirit.
‘Yes, master. We have met them so many times. And the last time that was when one of my Temporary Masters rebelled, someone he loved before he became Lord Of Death and lost his feelings, she dying from an accident after him saved his world from chaos, and although he no longer had emotions, but he still wanted to revive her, he abused my power to revive that girl, I tried to stop him, but he didn't listen and I couldn't do anything because he was my master at that time ... At that moment, Dark Queen appeared, she destroyed him and took me back, and then she just disappeared.’ Death recounts the last time he met Dark Queen, even though it has been thousands of years since.
After listening to the story, Twilight didn't say a word. She continued deep into the dark forest. Then she stopped in front of a large bush with sharp spikes that could pierce through the body of a pony. She used her new magic and created a gray flame and burned down the bushes. After it completely burned the bush completely down, her vision became clear ... Now in front of her is an ancient pyramid-shaped relic, with an enormous door leading into the ancient ruins. Above the door are ancient letters, and vines cover the door of the ancient pyramid.
