Xenomorph.

A creature designed by nature for one thing: Hunting.

A creature meant to adapt to its host, infiltrate under cover of darkness, replicate and breed and swarm, until a planet is no more. The perfect organism.

Yet... what would happen if one were to experience independent thought, empathy, and self doubt?

What if indeed.

Rarity disappeared years ago. Rainbow never got the full story. No one wanted to talk about it. Painful memories, bits and pieces of half-remembered interactions, none of it told her anything. So she started looking on her own, and at long last, she found Rarity.

On a different continent, under a different name, with a different life.

Rainbow would like to know why.

The end is rainy cafes and half-empty teacups.

The end is rusty playgrounds with clouds overhead.

The end is whispered conversations swirling around you.

The end is storm sirens screaming in the air.

Rarity knows the end.

That doesn't mean she's come to terms with it.

Shining armour gets transported into the past of the crystal empire with no idea how or who sent him. Gaps in his memories fill his mind as he tries to solve the mystery while also learning a lot about the crystal empire and Equestria's history. Not everything is as it seems and shining will have to make some difficult choices before he can get back to his own time

That Prince Blueblood treats mares terribly. Luna takes matters into her own hoof to teach him a lesson, but it is she that learns something instead.

Will she win them back, or will she spend the next thousand lifetimes trying to return to their lives.
