Vinyl is a DJ, Octavia is a cellist. both nothing alike but in the end might be something.from the bar to depression to love, comedy and a whole other bunch of things.

When Vinly notices Twilights less than appreciative view of her music, she embarks on a quest to change her opinion. Along the way, dreams will be fufilled, Alliances will be broken, and Love will be found. Or not. Shinanigans and differing opinions lead Vinyl and Twilight to some odd situations. Will probobly be funny at some point. Will Vinyl be able to get Twilight into the music scene? Gosh I hope so!

My first story, but you don't need to know that. Possible Shipping later on, current 'refrece' but no 'action'.

Twilight Sparkle has been in a rut, and when she finds herself dragged in to a new night club by her friend named Vinyl Scratch, she finds herself being more social than ever with her new best friend.... But is there more than friendship between the two? What of Pinkie and her new, more often visits?
This is my first fic, so tips will be appreciated. I'm hoping that this story can somewhat weather all the criticism I'm sure I'll get. Feel free to tell me what I can improve on, and anything else you guys need!

When Vinyl and Octavia first meet on the streets of Manehattan it seems that they have little in common. Octavia is a part of a prestigious String Quartet and a graduate of Canterlot's most acclaimed music school. Vinyl, on the other hand, is a young street musician, playing and living on the dirty streets of the low-end part of the city, trying to survive harsh winters without shelter. But there is a one thing they share that binds them together in spite of everything: music. And thus their story unfolds. But with all of the struggles they face and the secrets they keep, can two ponies who are so different ever find peace with each other and, more importantly, with themselves?

Octavia Adagio is not enjoying her new home. Noisy neighbors, bad music, and middle school are just some of the items on her list of things she hates about her new Manehattan suburb. At least she has her music by her side; and as far as she’s concerned, that’s all she’ll ever need.

Or so she thought. Her first day of school turns into a doozy when a young unicorn with a penchant for talking decides to be her first friend. How will the normally refined tastes of Octavia mix with those of the arrogant Vinyl Scratch? I can tell you this; It probably won’t be pretty.

Vinyl Scratch is feeling hopelessly confused, until she meets Octavia. Vinyl cannot come to terms with the fact that she is in love with somepony, let alone a mare.

Vinyl Scratch is a connoisseur of music (and mares). She has a great job as a DJ, and fun co workers. But one day, she meets a talented Earth pony named Octavia, who intrigues her in more ways than one. And so, she explores her interest with this pony; she is not one to ignore her curiosity.

This fic will NOT have clop at all, but will be a bit mature

After rising to stardom following Rarity's first, poorly received fashion show, Vinyl Scratch struggles to adapt to the higher class of life celebrity status bestows. Her personality and own moral values do not mix with the fake, corporate ideals of her agent, and her sponsors are only interested in her as long as she conforms to their expectations. Her life is barely her own and soon she will have to decide what's more important; her existing relationships, her fame and fortune, or perhaps something unexpected in the form of a refreshingly grounded Canterlot Elite who just invited her to breakfast during the Canterlot Music Convention.

A Vinyl Scratch x Octavia story where the two Ponies involved don't instantly form a romantic relationship the moment they meet, and instead allows it to grow over time with good old character development.

Everyone's favorite musical pairing is back in another fanfic! Octavia and Vinyl are now room-mates, and are like any other couple...but how will they react when they discover there's another about to show up?

It's anything but a traditional story when Vinyl Scratch meets Octavia and falls in love with the colt-loving grey mare. Vinyl can't explain it, but there is something about Octavia that has sucked her into love's arms. But with Vinyl's jealous ex in the picture, she can barely find time to think straight. Can Vinyl find the will to fight through an overbearing ex and somehow win Octavia's heart? Or will it all crash and burn around her?
