Turning thirty can bring out the worst in some ponies. Sweetie Belle just turned thirty and is not in the least happy about it. Add being single and having numerous ponies thinking she'll retire from the music scene just because of her age doesn't exactly help out. So in an attempt to show that the big 3-0 isn't as sucky as it seems, The Mane Six and Spike recount their own crazy thirtieths. Tales ranging from drunken princesses, Gummy, mountains of tissues, Las Pegasus, flying, a forced day off, and even a little romance.

But when Princess Luna gets called away, thieves take advantage of her absence to break into the royal library. Their target? A certain artifact of incredible power leftover from one of the greatest spell casters of all time. A short trip to Canterlot with Rainbow Dash and Applejack is the perfect opportunity for Twilight to test out her new long-distance Teleportation spell. But a nasty cold dashes the hopes of a quick trip, and makes the spell disappear in smoke: instead of arriving in Canterlot, the three find themselves in the nearby Everfree Forest, and discover that their location is not the only thing that went wrong.

While Rainbow has exchanged her wings and tail for a straw blond tail, Applejack has acquired a rainbow tail as well as a pair of strong, blue wings.

While Twilight attempts to find a spell to return the body parts to their rightful owners, the others must attempt to deal with this situation... and with their changing feelings.

When Twilight Sparkle decides to try a new spell she has perfected, she successfully pulls a being from another universe into Equestria. That being coincidentally is a human...that human coincidentally is you. What at first just seems like an opportunity for first contact between two species soon becomes something much more when certain truths are brought to light...and everything you knew about your life is flipped onto its head.

NOTE: At times in this story, the main character's thought process will be shown as an inner monologue with his brain. BRAIN's dialogue will appear in this color of text.
