Nightmare Moon always had a backup plan if she ever were defeated; she would slowly regenerate herself and regain her power. The problem is she never expected to come back as a defenseless filly, or to return directly in front of the princesses. As punishment for her past crimes, Luna has given her a sentence far worse than being sent to the moon again. Nightmare Moon must move in with Twilight and report to Luna on the magic of friendship. She's not very happy about it.

By the way I am not trying to rip off Past Sins in any way. Nyx is NOT in this story, this will go in a completely different direction.

Twilight Sparkle. A name known to everypony in all of Equestria. She's saved Equestria multiple times now, and with her and her friends being the Elements of Harmony, as well as being Princess Celestia's "Most Faithful Student", she enjoys a great life.

Taking place a week after the royal wedding of Canterlot, Twilight has a nightmare which leads her to believe that the Changeling threat is still at large and anyone around her could be in disguise. Her personal worries get even worse when she gets haunted by a scarring incident caused by her brother and her friends the night before the wedding and believes that no one can help her. But when Twilight breaks down and suffers from emotional trauma, will her friends be able to realize the importance and value of true friendship through their foolish mistakes? Or have they not learned a thing at all this whole time?

Things are changing in Equestria, the ponies have decided they no longer need Princess Celestia to guide them. Celestia willingly stood down however and vanished. Unknown to Equestria she remains in disguise watching and wondering if her ponies are really ready... Oh, she's also experiencing what its like to care for a foal for the first time as well. Celestia is feeling maternally nostalgic, Twilight accidentally turns her body into that of a filly, and Luna experiences the joy of being an aunt. Also; Trixie will eventually become a guard for a day, Discord will at some point have a few good laughs, and Spike will have to deal with his big sister suddenly being shorter than him when he's actually informed.

This is a Twilight/Celestia mother-figure/daughter-figure family fluff filled story stuck together with humor. Pretend this thing has a fluff tag. Also, there will most likely be no pairings in this story that aren't canon-compliant.

Just days after the events of the wedding Twilight and friends are called back to the palace. Celestia has taken ill and now it is a race against time to find a cure. Will they succeed? Or will tragedy strike so soon after a happy event? And how will Twilight handle the challenges to come?

When Twilight finds a book some advanced spells she can't resist but read it and try to perform them. Unfortunately the spell back fired and turned Twilight back into a filly. Having no memory of her adult life, can her friends find a cure for her? Or will she have to start life over again?
