Part 2: Pony Tails

Luna's life since her return to the world has been more than she could have hoped for; her sister welcomed her back with open hooves and has done everything in her power to make Luna happy. On top of that, the Moon Princess has even made some friends in Twilight Sparkle and the ponies from Ponyville. Luna is the happiest she's been in a very long time, and she can't help but hope that her life has seen the end of its trials.

However... not all remnants of the past are willing to stay there.

One night, high in the mountain capital of Canterlot, Princess Luna is confronted by four ponies who all share a very deep connection to her; and the past that Luna thought was buried forever is suddenly unearthed and threatens not only her new life, but also the lives of Twilight Sparkle and her friends, as well as that of Princess Celestia.

Hatred has come to Equestria, and its power may be more than even the magic of Friendship can endure.

Unable to take the cruel and wrongful accusations of her being the secret-posting blogger, Anon-a-Miss, by her former friends and the rest of the students of Canterlot High; Sunset Shimmer runs away vowing never to return. When the true identity of Anon-a-Miss is finally revealed, it is too late. The guilty and remorseful students of Canterlot High set out to find Sunset. Little do they know that their holiday season is about to get even worse. Their mistreatment of Sunset has attracted the legendary punisher of the naughty, the Krampus. Krampus and his helpers begin hunting the students one by one with the intent of giving them a Christmas in Hell. Sunset Shimmer was once the former Student of Celestia. Like Twilight Sparkle she was very powerful in the fields of magic. Unlike twilight Sparkle Sunset Shimmer was dishonest and cold hearted. She abandoned her studies expecting Celestia to feel pain and to feel like she had failed. Years later Sunset reappeared in Equestria to steal the Element of magic. This element would later lead to her fall. Sunset turned into something upon wearing such powerful magic. She was defeated by the magic of friendship and left with deep emotional scars. One of these scars is burned into her soul. The dark magic that consumed her in the human world was more than just a form. It was something much worse, something that will soon come to the surface to show its face again.

(Note this is a remake of the first book of my series of the Empress of flame to honor a year. In this you will receive a new ending and all scenes and chapters I decided to not release. All chapters have been changed in many ways. This one will be much longer than the original. Empress of flame was an alternate universe I made that became more popular than I expected. Eventide Trailblazer is a mare obsessed. While the rest of Equestria shuns the name Sunset Shimmer, she spends her time dwelling on the true story of the mare behind the myth, a story that culminated in a horrible disaster five years ago. Trusting no one but her best friend and her therapist Eventide plots in secret, making plans that will fix things once and for all. But while her intentions might be good, do her plans truly benefit anyone but herself?

Twenty five years prior to Eventide's own plans the object of her obsession returns to Equestria from parts unknown. The end of Twilight's inter-dimensional duel across time with Starlight Glimmer also marks Sunset's unexpected return from CHS, yet when Twilight meets up with her she can barely recognize her friend from the other world. Scared, paranoid and horribly injured, Sunset claims to have spent the last seven weeks of her life trapped in her own inter-dimensional journey, a journey that sounds worryingly familiar to Twilight.

Set directly after cutie re-mark for Twilight chapters and approximately 25 years after season 5 for Eventide. Other Tag is for Flurry Heart.

Falling from grace or in this case from the sky Sunset Shimmer finds herself in the middle of a time loop of sorts. Having no memory of what just happened, she seeks refuge from one of our friends but after finding some weapons all of that will slowly change her into the one thing she has been trying to fight for almost a 1,000 years.

For Sunset Shimmer, letting a group of impressionable high school students in the know about another dimension where magic reigns and talking ponies are the norm is not the easiest thing to handle. It does not help that the portal to this dimension is right in front of the school.

Sooner or later, though, she has to deal with more than mere questions about Equestria. Twilight becomes curious enough that words won't cut it for her anymore. She wants to see this dimension for herself.

So, Sunset begins by offering to bring her camera through the portal to take pictures and videos of her next trip there in Equestria.
