Carefully aiming the holy crossbow which fired a holy arrow into a practice dummy that looked like one of the demons then dissolved into nothing thanks to an arrow shot courtesy of Rainbow Dash. She hit three more targets easily while at the same time doing some neat and amazing tricks.
Even though she is showing off a bit, her progress is going great so I'll just have to tolerate the show off nature of yours Shy smiled giggling slightly.
Dash placed her cross bow behind her back in a special kind of holster making sure that it was placed nice and snug before Fluttershy walked up to her with a pleased look on her face.
"Good job Dash" Fluttershy complimented.
"Thanks and sorry in advance for my little egotistical show" Dash said rubbing the back of her neck nervously.
"Don't worry most applicants are cocky in their ways so don't trouble yourself Dash" Shy responded.
Dash didn't know how to respond to what Fluttershy said but accepted it anyway. All of a sudden a lightning bolt sparked up the ground before revealing Sunset and her new mentor Storm.
"Howdy do folks!" Sunset said exchanging a psychotic grin.
"Storm bringer you dastardly scarlet from hell! I should have known making Sunset your student in order for your plan to work! Shy said pulling out her long sword that had a white handle and a cross on it.
Dash was not only surprised but also shocked to see the one person who was defeated at the Fall Formal was standing in front of her standing side by side next to this person Storm.
"Sunset you handle Dash I'll deal with miss caretaker" Storm commanded.
"Yes Storm" Sunset responded obediently.
"Dash you handle Sunset Shimmer and I will take care of this X Men reject" Shy said.
Dash nodded and fired a arrow at Sunset that was snapped in half by the demon girl, catching it and breaking the arrow in two. Rainbow broker her crossbow into twin daggers then engaged in close combat with her former best friend. She went to slice her in half but Sunset grabbed her dagger smirking; kicked the athlete into a wall outside Fluttershy's house.
Ouch! Damn it how did she get so strong all of a sudden Dash wondered.
She barely missed a bullet to her face that only pierced her jacket, leaving a small hole in it.
"Oops it seems I missed your head Rainbow Dash. Don't worry the next one won't miss" Sunset threatened, changing her guns to twin long swords.
"I'm not about to back down from you" Dash proclaimed.
"That's what I like to hear" Sunset said charging at her.
Dash ducked underneath and stabbed Sunset in the back of the neck hoping that would silence her. She couldn't be more wrong, instead of the dagger reducing Sunset to an ash pile it melted off of her as if it wasn't there to begin with. Rainbow backed up in total shock and disbelief at what she was looking at.
"Shocked Dash? Well I don't blame you really I went into a lava pit and survived so the chances of you hurting me are going to second to rare" Sunset explained.
"At one point you only just found out about that weapon, now you can hurt me but the lava is protecting you" Dash said receiving another dagger.
Sunset just smirked walking towards her with twin long swords in hand.
"You think you can intimidate me?" Dash questioned.
She rushed her turning the daggers into a lasso and tied up Sunset before slamming her on the ground. Sunset landed with a thud, taken by surprise by that sudden move by Rainbow Dash.
"You actually showed a bit of backbone Dashie" Sunset said gritting her teeth in pain.
Dash planted her foot on to her neck increasing pressure if needed. It would seem that Dash would have a chance but a single lightning strike sent her flying backwards.
"DASH!" Shy cried out, rushing over to Rainbow Dash.
Storm let out an approving smirk at what she did. As Shy checked Dash for any kind of injuries she suffered at the hands of Storm but found nothing.
"As much as I want to continue this little chat the demon and I have other business to attend to" Storm said disappearing in a lightning strike with Sunset.
"Dash are you hurt?" Shy asked examining any injuries she may have.
"I'm fine Shy really thanks for your concern" Dash managed to say while still writhing in agony and pain.
"I am so sorry for letting this happen, I understand if you don't want to keep going" Shy said feeling guilty.
Dash embraced Fluttershy tightly with a smile on her face reassuring her that just because she suffered a lightning blast to the back wouldn't justify what they were trying to achieve.
"Your....not mad?" Shy asked, being surprised by the sudden embrace.
"Fluttershy no matter what happens we are going to stop Storm from achieving her goal with Sunset Shimmer alongside her. I didn't understand it at first but now I know our mission now more than ever: stop 'Operation Damnation' by any means" Dash proclaimed raising a single fist in the air.
The air was thin but at the moment Fluttershy was smiling at this sudden resolve by Rainbow Dash.
I'm glad you think so Shy smiled happily.
Meanwhile high above the city of Canterlot Storm could hear distant wails and screams of helpless victims were subjected to rape, sexual assault, murder, assault and battery, etc. All Storm did was watch but Sunset on the other hand sat on the edge of a skyscraper twirling her pentagram infused twin pistols feeling bored from lack of action.
"You look bored" Storm began, breaking the silence.
"It sucks that I couldn't finish off Dash cause I had her in my grasp" Sunset complained before letting out an annoyed groan.
"Patience dear student for the realms of the underworld are beginning to open up. Once they open, all hope Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash had will be lost" Storm explained.
The smile Sunset had grew wider that it might have to be removed surgically.
This world will never see any amount of daylight ever again
