With Twilight Sparkle as the newly crowned Princess of Friendship, she and her friends are to spread friendship to all of Equestria. She has new duties to perform, not to mention a new throne room begging for meetings to be held. So it is Twilight calls to order the Council of Friendship, where she shall instruct her friends on running an effective government and discuss with them matters pertaining to their rule.

In hindsight, she really should have realized what she was getting herself into.

Note - This fic is meant to be a series of random misadventures as the cast plays at politics and gets into assorted hi-jinks. More chapters may or may not come depending on when and if I have ideas to write them.

Herbert Wilkinson, an experienced government drone, makes the mistake of putting on a strange hat that a loony shopkeeper gives him.

Once a human, now a mare.
The soul and mind that crossed over into Equestria and inhabited a wanted criminal now struggles to find meaning, trust and most importantly of all, friends.

At what should have been a routine doctor's visit, Applejack learns that she can never bear foals of her own. After an emotional breakdown, her friends do their best to calm her.

However, as the discussion develops, nopony is prepared for Twilight's revelation: the grand event which brought them together has left a hidden scar within each of them.

Tempers flare, relationships are strained, and the strength of their friendship is tested as each must come to terms with her newfound sterility.
