It's been a long time since I've last updated this story, mostly because, looking back, I'm not really happy with the way a lot of the chapters turned out. It's been almost four years since I first started, and though I didn't put out many chapters, I really enjoyed writing it. Looking back, I see lots of room for improvement, and I set this fic up for more than I feel I can realistically expect to fulfill. Nevertheless I can't thank my readers enough for the amount of support and interest they've shown my first real fanfic. I may try to pick this up again sometime in the future, but if I do decide to continue the story, it'll be a full reboot. Thanks again, everyone, and sorry for the bad news. Through the machinations of the goddesses themselves, Hyrule is ripped apart at the seams of reality, dissolving into nothingness. This story takes place after "Games Ponies Play" (Which is the second to last episode of season three) and "Magical Mystery Cure," but I have big plans for this story, and its timeline may overshoot "Magical Mystery Cure" (In fact, i'm pretty sure it will.)

Ponyville faced an ordinary day, but then night came, and with it a massive gateway into another world. It closes before any action can be taken, but now the Mane Six and Canterlot nobility are tasked with finding out what they can about the gateway. Who created it? Where did it lead to?

Hey, I lived a rather normal life here on Earth. Had a decent job and a nice apartment. But that all changed when a mysterious biker babe offered me the trip of a lifetime. I took the chance and it turned out said biker babe was in fact an horse-like alien from another world and the trip she mentioned actually had less to do with exploring America and more to do with exploring the universe.

A failed experiment.

Not exactly new for Twilight. But when the outcome brings forth its own science, the likes of which her nation hadn't even yet dared to hope for, the ponies of Equestria slowly realize that they're in for the adventure of a lifetime.

The problem is, they might just not be ready for the revolutions that technological advancement always brings.

And they're about to get hundreds of years of human science and advancements all at once.

As a forewarning, updates will likely be erratic. I have every intention of finishing this story, it's just that my life has been rather crazy lately as I'm sure many of you can imagine.

DARPA, the Pentagon's team of mad scientists, have cooked up something interesting. A portal to another dimension? Why? Better question- why not? Somehow sensing a military application from this, generals from around the world cobble together a task force to go investigate this new land and mark sites for later exploitation. Backed up by the fury of the world's modern military forces, they launch their operation into this strange realm. When they discover a bright, happy universe full of talking ponies, they realize the folly of what their mission is. How will Equestria react to people whose confessed profession is being expert fighters? Matter of fact, how will Equestria react to PEOPLE?

For many years there has been a mysterious creature living in the woods. Many rumors have spread about this creature. Some say its capable of killing anything it puts its mind on, even predators many times its size. A very strange creature that nopony had ever encountered face to face. That was, until now.

The story will tagged complete, since I don't have anything more to write. If I do get an idea for another chapter it will be published here.
