This story is a sequel to Stardust

Everyone knows the story of Hearths Warming Eve. They know the tales of the three pony tribes and how their strife brought the Windigoes upon them, and how the Fires of Friendship saved them from their frozen fates. For countless generations the tale has been told, but how has it changed over those years?

Or is any of it true in the first place?

Only one pony knows, and Celestia would prefer that the past stay forgotten.

(Based on a 'What If' line of thought that was born from the Stardust storyline. While some familiarity with Stardust and Mente Materia doesn't hurt, this story can be enjoyed on its own)

There's an old book that's falling apart. Twilight wants to copy it down to preserve it. But it needs to be as accurate and precise as possible, to preserve the state of the original. That shouldn't be too hard. After all, it's not like the text will change whenever she looks away.

Right?

Almost a year after what seemed to be the concluding battle in Celestia's great crusade against necromancers, something Mortem believes to be borderline discrimination, he discovers one of Celestia's armies setting up camp just outside his stronghold.

Not wanting to jump to any conclusions or risk angering the very powerful Princess, he concludes a diplomatic solution would be the best way forward. And so, he writes a letter.

Authors notes: The first chapter is super short (its also really awesome if I do say so myself) but the rest won't be. Promise. There will be some combat later on, but at the moment, it won't be super graphic, so again, dodging a bullet. The first 2 or 3 chapters will be a little sad/tragic, but its not the tone of the story, and its nothing to bad so they won't be tagged. The entire story will not be written like the first chapter. This story is a sequel to Dust Bowl Dance

It's been three years since Spike and Big Macintosh joined the war. Spike has a secret that is the cause of his joining the war that he feels would destroy his friendships, but can it stay hidden? King Sombra has returned and has joined forces with the duke of the drakos. The Elements of Harmony are called in to defeat Sombra who is turning the war in favor for the drakos, and Spike's squad is called in to protect them. Sombra has a grudge against the purple drakos, and leverage.

A Warhammer 40k Crossover. Not a brutalization fic. A Brony's First Warhammer fic. Gore will be as light as possible.

In the nightmare future of the 41st millennium, there is only war. There is no hope in a galaxy filled with terror and fear.
