Equestria finds itself caught in the cold war between the United Federation of Planets and the Klingon Empire. Can friendship prevail, or will this cold war turn hot, despite their best efforts?

This is a crossover with Star Trek, taking place in late 2269 of the Prime timeline, during the fourth year of the five-year mission of the original television series. It's not a crossover with the movies made by J.J. Abrams. It is mid-season five or so for Friendship is Magic. it is my humble offering for the fiftieth anniversary of Star Trek, which debuted September 8, 1966.

Twilight Sparkle, 3 years before she would travel to Ponyville, woke up one morning to a blue box floating over her head.

Bereft of her normal, mundane life, Twilight decides to utilize her new abilities to their fullest. Her entire view of reality had been shifted to that of a game, her body changed to something reminiscent of a video game character, and she can only wonder why.

Unfortunately, something lurks within the shadows trying to take advantage of her newfound power. The world its garden and the universe its kingdom, The Man in Black knows only one thing: Babylon will fall, and everything else with it.

This is the story that exploits the hell out of continuity errors. Half way through, I don't even THINK this is the case anymore.

So basically, I decided to write this fic. I was then eating a sandwich and placed it down on top of my coffee mug. In which, I grabbed the coffee mug and stared at the salad dressing that was now on top of the coffee mug.
