Sunset was devastated. It hurts, knowing what she's lost. Forced away from the only friends she's known, she feels like Anon-A-Miss has won. Somehow, she makes it home, and finds herself doing something she rarely does: watching television. Early in the morning hours, she's awoken by the sounds of a children's show with a man who wears a red cardigan.

Somehow, this soft spoken man reaches inside her and gives her peace with just eight words: "I Like You Just the Way You Are"

While the girls are enjoying a slumber party, an ancient Equestrian artifact activates. Now everyone in town has a lie meter above their heads. Meanwhile, Anon-A-Miss is set on exposing secrets and ruining friendships, but this new magical phenomenon might cause the nefarious profile to lose power.

A Ultra Beast Pokémon called a Nihilego invaded the world of Canterlot High, and has taken possession of Sunset Shimmer. Arceus sends Ash and his friends from the Alola Region to catch he Pokémon. Meanwhile, the Anon-a-miss event is getting out of control, and Sunset is fully corrupted by the beast. Will the Magic of Friendship be enough to save Sunset from the parasite Pokémon?

Sunset Shimmer ran away from home after accused for being Anon-A-Miss and posting everyone's secret, her decision led her on an adventure. Meanwhile Anon-A-Miss reveal them self, and the main 5 along with the rest of the school are on the quest to find their friend and bring her home.

After feeling alone and unwanted, as well as justifiably angry, Sunset makes a deal with a seemingly kind older man. He just might not be as innocent as he lets on. (Not the Sunset Shimmer demon everyone knows from the first movie.)

NOTE: While the beginning does deal with the aftermath and consequences of Anon-A-Miss, the story isn't about Anon-A-Miss. It's about Sunset and her dealing with her new circumstances.

Anon-a-Miss.

Just thinking about it made Morning Star and Shadow Wings' stomachs turn. In four days, a single account had turned Canterlot High on its head once again. Students were fighting in the hallways and cafeteria, breaking off friendships and mocking one another. No one knows who started it, but all fingers are pointing at the most likely suspect: Sunset Shimmer.

The problem is, those fingers are all wrong. Sunset Shimmer is not the culprit behind Anon-a-Miss and it's up to Shadow and Star to find out who is before Winter Break arrives. Working against the clock, the duo have to investigate the goings-on leading up to Anon-a-Miss as well as interrogate the first targets of the cursed account.

After being abandoned by her friends during christmas, Sunset Shimmer wanders the cold streets of town, alone, and with nowhere to go. After walking for hours, she eventually gives into the elements around her, only to be saved at the last second by the last ones she ever thought would help her.

Meanwhile, the truth about Anon-A-Miss has come out, and her five friends are desperately trying to find her so they can apologize for what they have done.

On a cold winter night before winter break, Sunset Shimmer goes for a walk to try and get away from the Anon-a-Miss situation. After an unexpected meeting with Adagio Dazzle, a fateful event leads to a decision that changes all of their lives.
