Twenty miles away from Canterlot Tied up, blindfolded, gagged and suspended by a chain with her arms above her head. A bruised and beaten Sunset Shimmer could only make a muffled groan of pain as she slowly came to.
"Well, Well, looks like Demon bitch is waking up from her little nap," Mizuki said smugly taking a picture of the helpless girl with his phone as others chuckled at his comment.
"Looks like it," Gilda replied walking up to the captive girl giving her a sucker punch to the gut. "Wake up! Did you think we're done yet with you? You got three years of interest pay up on. ''
"I gotta few words to say to her before we start round two of the fun tonight," Mizuki said with an evil smile walking up to Sunset violently grabbing her by the hair pulling her close as he began whispering into her ear. "Unlike everyone else here I know who the real Anon-a-Miss is, and I've been their biggest contributor of dirty secrets and pictures. Because I hate you as much as they do, I'm not gonna tell You who it is either. I'm going to leave you wondering who and why to the very end. After we're done here tonight, your gonna wish you were buried in that crater you were in at the fall formal," He finished, letting go of her as Sunset began to weep, tears soaking her blindfold as he walked away. Someone knew the truth all along, Someone knew she was innocent but didn't care, because he helped create this nightmare She now found herself in and only wanted to see her suffer.
"Wow, did you say to get her cry like that?" Gilda asked impressed at her classmate handiwork.
"I'm just good with words," Mizuki answered smugly, looking at crying girl with twisted satisfaction. "Say Grable is her Christmas present ready yet?"
"Ooh yeah," he replied chuckling grabbing the so-called present. "Time to brand the horse," Garble sinisterly said holding a red-hot branding iron, walking towards Sunset with an insane look in his eye. Suddenly the branding iron was kicked out of his hands and sent thru the window ceiling Grable suddenly felt a force on par with a speeding train slammed into his gut sending him flying into a pile of old oil drums.
"What the hell!?" Gilda shouted in shock only to get kicked in the face and sent skidding across the cement floor.
(Naruto Shippuden OST 3: 25 - Main Theme)(recommended) Standing between them and Sunset were two young men around their age one with jet-black hair and dark eyes wearing dark blue winter jacket with white cargo pants and combat boots. The other blond hair and ocean blue eyes with what looked like whisker marks on his face wearing an orange and black winter jacket, black pants, and brown boots.
"I don't know why you bastards are hurting this girl, but I don't care either I'm not gonna let you do it!" The blonde-haired boy declared.
"Who the hell are you?" Dumbbell shouted at the duo.
"I am Naruto Uzumaki of Hidden Leaf Academy, and I'm gonna kick your asses you trash!" The blond introduced cracking his knuckles.
"Sasuke Uchiha," the other boy introduced giving them an ice-cold state as his eyes turned crimson red.
"You two are outnumbered there thirty of us, and two of you," Gilda taunted.
"Then let me even up those odds," Shadow clones! " He shouted as over forty duplicates appeared behind the two. "You losers ready for a real fight?"
"It's just a trick," Lighting Dust taunted "I bet they're not- "Only to get kicked in the face by one of the shadow-clones.
"Real enough for ya?" The clone asked.
" Why is everyone hitting me in the fucking nose!? " Lightning Dust screamed rolling on the ground clutching her face.
"Get em!" Hoops shouted as an all-out brawl began.
"U-zu-ma-ki barrage!" the shadow clones air juggled Gilda into the air with powerful kicks finishing with a powerful 540 roundhouse kick sending her flying out a window.
"I can easily see your movements, you fools are too slow," Sasuke said easily dodging and countering the attacking students.
"You hidden leaf punks are gonna pay for butting in!" Mizuki shouted charging at Naruto with a rusty steel pipe.
"The only punks I see around here are you Scum!" Naruto replied forming a spiraling orb in his right hand. "Rasengan!" slamming the orb into the white-haired student launching him into several other students.
"Dragon Flame!" Sasuke shouted launching a blast of fire shaped like dragons head at five incoming attackers. The attacking students barely getting out of the way of the blast. The fire igniting the wall behind them.
"Sasuke, you idiot! You set the building on fire!" Naruto shouted in panic. As the CHS students fled the now burning building in fear.
"That doesn't matter just grab her and let's get out of here!" Sasuke shouted back to Naruto nodded quickly raced towards the bound girl and getting her down from the chain.
"You're gonna be okay," Naruto assured her cradling the bound girl in his arms. Though she could not see she who this boy was, She truly felt safe in his arms and believe every word he spoke was the truth.
"Chidori!" Sasuke shouted blasting a hole in a wall big enough for the three of them to escape racing toward Sasuke's car.
"Whelp, there goes our training ground," Naruto said looking back at the burning building.
"We'll find another spot," Sasuke said removing the makeshift gag and blindfold from Sunset allowing her to see her savors "Let's head back to my place," he said as he removed the bindings on her arms and legs, Naruto taking his jacket off and wrapping it around the girl.
"Thank you," Sunset said hugging the two as tears of joy fell from her eyes. "You two saved my life."
Uchiha resedentce
"I got your text Naruto," said a voice as a pink haired girl with green eyes wearing a stylish red winter jacket, a light pink skirt with white leggings entered the room "Now what this emergency?" She asked before noticing an injured girl with fiery hair with Naruto's jacket draped over her sitting on the couch.
"This girl is Sunset Shimmer, and we pulled her out a bad situation, and she could really use your skills to help patch her up," Naruto explained.
"Next time you two find an injured damsel in distress take her to a damned hospital like normal people," Sakura said with a sigh repressing the urge to smack her childhood friends upside the head in favor helping the injured girl ." Alright, Sunset Lay down for a bit while I heal you," To which the fire-haired girl nodded as she laid down on the couch. Sakura hands began to glow with a mint-green aura, gently placed her hands on Sunset a soothing feeling went through her body as her bruises and cuts faded away.
"You can use magic? how?" Sunset asked in surprise. This girl before her not only had magic, she could use healing magic the rarest class of magic in Equestria!
"With these," Sakura answered revealing a pendant with a pink crystal shaped like a cherry blossom. "We found these strange glowing geodes on a school camping trip two years ago. When we picked them up they transformed into these pendants and granted us these powers," Sakura explained. " I'm telling you this cause I'm trusting you with our secret,"
"Naruto and I used to go to that old factory where we found you to train and learn how to use these powers," Sasuke explained holding a dark blue crystal pendant before walking out into the kitchen.
"We can trust you with this right?" Naruto asked showing his orange crystal pendant.
"Of course, I'll keep your secret you three saved me It's the least I can do," Sunset said.
"So Sunset id like ask about why those students from CHS were trying to kill you," Sasuke asked walking into the room carrying a tray with Tea and treats on it. Sunset told them about the Cyberbully Anon-a-Miss framing her leading to her friends abandoning her and the cruel trap that led to her abduction to that factory thanks to their foul play.
"I'm sorry you had to go through something so horrible," Sakura tearing up as she hugged Sunset.
"What bunch of assholes" Naruto growled clenching his fist. Wishing he knew who this Anon-a-Miss bastard was so he could punch their lights out. 'Note to self: I got five jerks to pay a visit to tomorrow,' Naruto thought, taking a swing of his tea.
"You're in luck Sunset, my mother is the head of the police, and my brother is the best officer on the force. If anyone can help put an end to this mess they can." Sasuke said "speaking of which they should be home Soon," We have a guest room here so you can stay here for the night."
"Right, I better head home mind if I hitch a ride with you Sakura?" Naruto asked to which the pink hair girl nodded.
"Wait, Naruto your jacket," Sunset said.
"Keep it," Naruto said with a kind smile "I got another at home, besides it looks better on you anyway." Sunset Shimmer didn't know it at the time, but this was the beginning of a new chapter of her life and that things are about to start looking up for her.
Two unusual vehicles arrived at CHS. One being a Konoha County police car, the other being a Platinum-white mustang with a red flame pattern. Two Officers exited the police car, one them bearing a resemblance to Sasuke, and emerging from the Mustang is a blond-haired man bearing a strong resemblance to Naruto.
"Officer Itachi. Fancy seeing you here today, and greetings to you as well Officer Shisui." The blond haired man greeted.
"Likewise Principal Minato. I assume you are here on somewhat similar circumstances?" Itachi asked to which he nodded in response. And then the three entered the school, heading towards the principal's office.
"Minato?" Principal Celestia said, surprised to see her ex-boyfriend from sophomore year again after so many years.
"It's been a while, Celestia. Though I wish it were under better circumstances," Minato greeted entering her office. "Excuse me, but why are there two officers from Konoha County here with you?" Vice-Principal Luna asked worryingly as she entered Celestia's office.
"I was getting to that Luna," Minato answered. "Last night, due to the actions of cyberbullying going on at your school, a girl named Sunset Shimmer was attacked and abducted by several students attending this school due to being framed for this 'Anon-a-Miss'. If it weren't for the actions Officer Itachi's younger brother and my son, Sunset would've no doubt been brutally murdered that night." Minato grimly explained as both women gaped in shock.
"Please tell me she's alright," Celestia asked Minato desperately.
"She is, the two were able to intervene before things got any worse for her. She's currently at my house with my wife keeping her company," he answered.
"One of the attackers has admitted to knowing the true identity of this Anon-A-Miss, and that he has been aiding this smear campaign to Ms. Shimmer. Unfortunately, she was blindfolded and was unable to identify who it was." Itachi explained.
"Naruto and Sasuke were able to give us a detailed description of most of the attackers last night, and Sunset was able to give a few names," Shisui added. "We have informed Canterlot police about this, and they will be arriving shortly."
"I believe for her safety and well being, Sunset Shimmer should be transferred to Hidden Leaf Academy. I already have the Paperwork ready on my side," Minato said.
"But Minato, if we just bring in the culprits I'm-"
"There's been too much damage done here," Minato interrupted "I can see it in that poor girl's eyes. She may put on a brave face but as a teacher and a father, I can tell she's hurting and scared. Even if we bring all the wrongdoers to justice, there's no going back to how things were." Minato explained. "A new start at a new school away from all this will be better for her."
"But-"
"Principal Celestia, if you truly care for Sunset Shimmer, then you'll do the right thing." Itachi interrupted.
Sugarcube corner
"Okay dude we're here," said a short, chubby teen with spiky white hair and blue eyes as he parked his car. "This is the place?" Naruto asked. "Yeah, I've seen them here often. Never bother talking to them though. I just come here for da doughnuts and stuff, and they make the best sponge cake here." Naruto couldn't help but roll his eyes at that last part.
"Thanks Grubber, I owe ya one for the ride."
"Ya owe me a baker's dozen," Grubber replied as the two of them entered the shop. Naruto giving his short friend a ten dollar bill as he walks towards the table where five very distinguishable girls sat.
"I'm assuming by your hair that you're the one they call Rainbow Dash?" Naruto asked.
"What do you want? I'm in a bad mood today so make it quick," Rainbow said, getting out of her seat while facing the blond with her arms crossed.
"I'm gonna tell you something my teacher told me. Those who break the rules are trash, but those who abandon their friends are worse than trash. So what does that make you?" Naruto asked giving Rainbow a cold glare.
'What's this fella getting at?' wondered Applejack.
"Awesome obviously, cause I'm a loyal friend," Rainbow answered with a smug smirk.
"Does a loyal friend throw another friend into a den of wolfs?" Naruto asked, the smirk on Rainbow face vanishing as her complexion went pale. "So again, what does that make you?"
"Grr, that look on your face is pissing me off!" Rainbow shouted throwing a right hook at the blond, only for her to get caught by the wrist before her fist made an impact.
"You didn't answer my question. What. Does. That. Make. You?"
"This is about Sunset, isn't it!?" She shouted. "Well, She's-" only to be interrupted as Naruto twisted her wrist, making her grunt in pain.
"I'm not talking about Sunset. I'm talking about you."
"Let her go, you meanie!" Pinkie shouted throwing a cupcake at him. Naruto merely tilted his head, dodging the pastry projectile as it flew by his head and smeared the wall behind him.
"Man, what a waste of a perfectly good cupcake," Grubber commented watching the drama unfold as he took a bite out a croissant.
"It seems my question is too complicated for your thick head to understand. So I'll give you a more simple question to answer. Did you give someone your phone so they could lure Sunset Shimmer into a trap?"
"I don't have to tell you anything!" Rainbow lashed out getting her wrist free as she once again tried to punch him, only to get pinned to the table.
"You are only making this harder on yourself. Now answer 'Yes or No'. It's a simple response."
"...Fine... I did," Rainbow begrudgingly answered.
"Now back to my first question. What does that make you?"
"I'm...I'm..."
"Say it!"
"I'm worse than trash," Rainbow Dash said in defeat.
"Good. Now I think you five have a lot to think about," Naruto finished, letting go of Dash as she slumped to the floor in defeat as he walked out of the cafe.
"That can't be true," Fluttershy whimpered looking at Rainbow as her eyes began to tear up.
"Why that rotten jerkface!" Pinke yelled in rage, whipping out her party cannon and aiming at the departing blonde.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you. That guy is the son of Red Hannya, you guys are getting off easy if ya think about it," Warned Grubber, as the five girls turned their attention to the pudgy teen in surprise.
"Wait, you mean the Kick-boxing champion Kushina Uzumaki!? That Red Hannya!?" Applejack asked in shock at the discovery of the fact she just met the son of one of her greatest role models, followed by a pang of shame at the fact that she just made an enemy out of him.
"The one and only." Grubber replied as he finishes paying for two boxes full of doughnuts. "He's just as fearsome of a fighter as she is. He could have mopped the floor with you five without breaking a sweat." He said, grabbing his boxes of goodies and walking out the door. 'Guess I owe Tempest money now. I thought he'd deck them in the face for sure,' he thought remembering his bet with his friend.
CHS
"The police?! Shit, I'm not about to rot in jail because of that demon bitch!"Mizuki cursed to himself. 'There's gotta be something I can use to get out of this,' he thought in panic when out of the corner of his eye, he spotted a worried Twilight Sparkle emerging from the portal in the statue. "Perfect," He said with a wicked chuckle.
"Twilight! Thank goodness you're here," Mizuki said putting on his best fake distress act as he ran towards her. "There's been an awful accident, and Sunset's been hurt. Please come with me. I'll take you to her," he said as led to a side of the school with her following, only to pin her to the wall and putting a knife up to her throat.
"What are you doing!?" Twilight gasped, then it dawned on her. "You...you tricked me."
"That's right! I did trick you, you naive royal ditz!" Mizuki said with a crazed tone. "This is all your fault you stupid mule! If you just took that demon horse cunt back into your stupid barnyard of a world, none of this would be happening!" he ranted. "I know how everyone adores you to the point where I bet they would let me go free just to keep you safe!"
"Hey! What's going on over here!?" shouted a voice.
"Shit!" Mizuki cursed as he turned his attention to the voice as Spike popped out of Twilight's bag, biting his arm causing the white-haired teen to drop his knife. "Gah! Dammed mutt! You'll never take me you bastards!" he declared while running away, only to be hit by an oncoming car once he reached the road.
"Ah shit, dat guy came out of nowhere!" Grubber said in a panic.
"I told you not to stuff your face and drive like that!" Scolded Naruto as the two of them got out of the car to check on the person they hit. "Hey wait a minute. This is one the bastards that attacked Sunset last night. He must have been trying to get away!"
"Oh, good thing I hit him then," Grubber said.
"You again!" Mizuki cursed struggling to get up, glaring at Naruto with hatred.
"'E'yup, me again ya prick," Naruto replied.
Hidden Leaf Academy
"Yo Sakura!" A voice called out as a red-haired girl with brown eyes while wearing beanie approached her. "I got a message from Naruto about some crazy shit that went down last night. Something about some CHS assholes trying to murder someone. "
"Why aren't you asking him? he's your cousin or Sasuke since he was with him. " Sakura asked.
"I can't find him, and cop boy is acting all tight-lipped about it. I figured you'd be my best bet at finding out what this is all about."
"Naru-pookie is just playing hooky," said a sing-along voice as ponytailed blue-haired girl joined the two. "This morning I pinched his butt, and then he went poof," With the hand motions added for effect.
"Why did you pinch his butt?" both girls asked in confusion.
"It's how I say good morning to my Naru-pookie," The blue-haired girl answered.
"You are so frigging weird Sonata," The red-head said. "Anyway, we're getting off topic here. Now-"
"What were you talking about?" Sonata asked interrupting the red-head.
"Well, it's about-"
"Hey girls. Mind if I join you?" a girl with brown hair in buns greeted.
"I wondered where you wandered off to Sonata," came a voice as a girl with poofy golden hair approached the growing group.
"Am I gonna get some freaking answers or what!?" the red-head screamed out in frustration.
"An answer to what Tayuya?" Sonata asked.
"Dammit Naruto," Sakura growled blaming her blond friend for this situation, rubbing her forehead like she had a migraine coming on.
"We're kinda alike in many ways, aren't we? It's almost like I'm talking to my past self, ya know?"Kushina said.
"You really think so?" Sunset bashfully asked.
"Absolutely! And I'm not just talking about our red hair either."
"I doubt you did anything as bad as I did," Sunset said turning her head away in shame.
"Oh really? I wasn't just known as the Red Hannya, you know. I was also known as the pranking queen of the Hidden Leaf Academy," Kushina said as she brought up a picture on her phone and showed it to Sunset.
"You graffitied the front of your entire school?" Sunset asked looking at the picture in surprise.
"Single handily, might I add. And in one night to boot," Kushina said proudly.
"At least you aren't known as a vile she-demon," Sunset said
"I got the title of Red Hannya because I used to beat the tar out of people that made fun or tried to bully me, with my hair wildly whipping around and the scary look on my face when I got angry. Also, the last I checked, Hannya's are considered demons. So yeah, I know what it's like to be known as a she-demon."
"I was a horrible person Kushina-"
"You're not that person anymore Sunset. I can see it," Kushina said. "One does not become a champion kickboxer without being able to read people. And I don't see a she-demon. I see a strong and sweet young woman who needs the help of someone who will be there for her. Your past is not today, Sunset Shimmer. You can forge a better tomorrow. My family and I will help you form that path alongside you. That is if you'll let us." Sunset began to tear up, Kushina placed a hand on Sunset shoulder.
It's also okay Sunset. Even the strongest of people cry from time to time." Kushina said with a gentle smile embracing Sunset into a hug.
'This warmth, I haven't felt this since I was a filly,'Sunset thought to herself.
CHS
"I'm sure the police would love to hear you blab about how much of an asshole you are Mitsuki. But I'm getting sick of it," Naruto said while placing a makeshift gag of an old dirty sock and duct tape around the tied up Mizuki's mouth.
"Care to explain why you're not at school Naruto?" Minato asked his son with his arms crossed.
"Um... well-" He was then cut off by a lavender-skinned princess.
"Will someone please tell me what is going on here!?" Twilight shouted in frustration. "First off, who are you two and how do you know Sunset?" She asked while pointing at the two blonds.
"I am Principal Minato of the Hidden leaf Academy," The older blonde introduced. "And this is my son Naruto."
"I'm Grubber in case you wanted to know," the pudgy teen introduced himself.
"And before we talk about Sunset, can you at least tell us your name?" Naruto asked. While he had a hunch about who this girl is, he wanted to know who she was for sure.
She blushed in embarrassment. "Oh, sorry. I'm Twilight Sparkle, and I'm Sunset Shimmers friend."
"I thought so, she told me about you. I just had to be sure if it was you or not," Naruto said.
As the three were talking, the Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity, and Pinkie Pie walked down the street and saw them. "It's that damn blond and Twilight... fuck." Said Rainbow Dash, knowing what was probably going to happen.
Twilight turned and saw the girls, and became furious. She stomped her way over to them and went off on them. "I trusted you girls, and you betrayed Sunset. You betrayed me. Did we mean nothing to you, even after all that we did?!" Twilight asked only to receive silence in response. "ANSWER ME DAMNIT!"
"We don't have an answer darling," Rarity said looking away in shame.
"And you!" Twilight shouted while giving Rainbow a slap that sounded like a clap of thunder on impact. "How dare you try to get Sunset killed! Had I known this would've happened, I would've gladly brought Sunset back to Equestria. Naruto's right. You're all worse than trash," She spat turning away from them.
As Twilight went back over to the three that stood off to the side, Naruto spoke up and said "Come on Twilight, I'll take you to see her. And I'm sure she'll be happy to see the face of a real friend."
"You do know that I am the guy driving, right?" Grubber remarked.
HLA
"And that's everything I know," Sakura finished, telling them everything that Sunset had told her. "Damn, I may have done some rotten things back when I was a member of the Sound Five gang, but even I think that was too much," Tayuya said while remembering her troublemaking day's. Cruel pranks, vandalism, stealing, and the skirt incident from the last Friendship Games. If it weren't for her stubborn cousin and her friend Kin, she was sure she would have ended up in prison, or worse.
'I guess even harmony can be fooled if all it took was a few posts online to break their "unbreakable" bond. Perhaps she was just a means to an end for them, and nothing more,' thought Adagio.
"Wow, no wonder you and your sisters left that place. If they're willing to do something this horrible to someone, then why is anyone there at all?" The bun-haired girl said to Adagio. "Who knows? Anyways, I just hope your sister Aria is safe wherever she is,"
"Aria..." Sonata said sadly while looking down at the floor, remembering her sister and how they got separated from her during the aftermath of the Battle of the Bands.
"We kinda brought it on to ourselves Tenten," Adagio said somberly "Like Tayuya here, we have our own collection of wrongdoings." 'A thousand years worth of them to be precise,' she mentally added.
"Sounds like this Sunset girl should've opened up her eyes to the truth about those so-called friends of hers a long time ago. But it seems she had to learn the hard way like me," said a girl with teal eyes with a scar over her left eye, and a cherry-red mohawk. "The difference between a real friend and a false one."
"That's a bit harsh, don't ya think Tempest?" Tenten asked.
She shrugged her shoulders in response. "So is life," she replied, then glanced at her artificial right arm.
Uzumaki residence
"I'll let two have some alone time together. Feel free to call me if you need anything, okay?" Kushina said. The two girls nodded, and she then closed the door behind her.
"Sunset, I'm so sorry!" She cried while wrapping her friend in a hug. "I should have been there for you sooner," Twilight sobbed into her friend's chest.
Sunset grimaced a bit from her shirt being soaked in Twilight's tears. "You didn't know this would happen Twilight. Neither of us knew things would escalate like this," Sunset said calmingly.
"I could have lost you! And it would've been my fault for being naive about a world I know so little about." Twilight said holding on to Sunset like she was going to disappear. "You can come back... to Equestria with me. You can stay with me if you want."
"I'm sorry Twilight," Sunset said breaking apart from the hug. "But I've made my mind about this since before we met, I'm staying. And nothing can change that until I decide otherwise."
"But why? Even after everything that has happened, why do you still want to stay?"
"This world has good in it Twilight. Even when there doesn't seem like there is any. It's because there's good in this world that I'm still alive." Sunset answered.
Twilight was then proceeding all fo this through her head before her mind came up with a reason why. "There's more too it than that, isn't there?" Twilight asked. "It's Princess Celestia, isn't it?"
Sunset nodded her head, "Our relationship was a bit more than just student and teacher Twilight."
"Wait, you don't mean what I think you mean do you?" Twilight asked in shock.
"Yeah. I am the failed self-exiled daughter of royalty," Sunset said sadly. "Desperate for love from a mother that only saw her child as a student. And I fell into a pit of despair, desperately trying to get her to love me. All the way to the point that I became a power-hungry brat consumed by darkness and hate until you came along and blasted some sense into me. She explained. "First with Celestia, then with the people I thought were my closest friends. Maybe I'm just destined never to have a family, she said with reminiscence. "Anyways, thanks for at least hearing me out Twilight. It feels good to finally get something off of my chest."
"Anytime Sunset. You may not think you have a family, but I consider you to be like a sister to me. I just wish I could be there for you more."
Twilight then looked at Naruto, who was sitting in the corner of the room, listening intently. "Naruto, you and your friends have my deepest thanks for saving Sunset and being there for her when I couldn't be. It's because of your actions that I am trusting you with a crucial task. I need you to protect her. I need you to help guide her when I can't, and I need you to not just to be her friend, but her true friend."
He smiled and put his thumb up to his chest. "It's a promise! A promise of a lifetime! I'll keep her safe and be there for her no matter what!" Naruto declared.
Twilight smiled lightly after hearing that. But then her face became serious. "Don't let my trust be in vain Naruto. So if you turn your back on her like they did, I'll never forgive you," Twilight warned.
"I never go back on my word. That's my code and way of life," Naruto replied.
"You say the apartment she lived in was vandalized too?" Kushina asked. "She just can't catch a break, can she?" 'This Anon-a-Miss and those monsters that hurt her, I hope they all rot in hell for what they've done.'
"From what I was told by Itachi and Shisui, yes. Apparently, there was a group there waiting for her in case the trap the group set up failed. They got fed up with waiting and destroyed pretty much everything," Mikoto said.
"Except for the things she had in her school locker. The poor girl has nothing left," Minato said sadly.
"The type of gift Sunset Shimmer needs isn't one that can be found under a tree," Kushina said. "And we are going to give her that gift."
"That's a bit sudden, don't ya think dear?" Minato asked, understanding what his wife was getting at.
"Uzumaki intuition?" Mikoto asked, remembering about her friend's keen intuition that ran in her family.
"Something like that," Kushina replied. "That, and it's almost Christmas. Sunset deserves it after all she's been through."
Equestria,Ponyville
"Today has been one heck of a day, huh?" Spike somberly said.
"That it has Spike. I just have a whole lot to take in right now," Twilight replied. Her thoughts were suddenly drifting to the young blonde she met. The look in his eyes when he made his promise. The honesty in those eyes rivaled even her friend Applejack. It gave Twilight hope that she left Sunset in the right hands this time.
Human world: Solei Residence
"I thought those feelings were long gone. But seeing him again after so long, it's like they never left," Celestia said to herself looking at an old photo of herself and Minato, wondering what their life could have been like if he hadn't moved away. "Kushina is the luckiest woman in the world to have you," she murmured.
"Tia, are you alright?" Her sister Luna asked her, worried about her well-being.
Celestia sighed in lightly before answering her. "I'm' alright Luna, just reminiscing a bit is all."
"It's Minato isn't it?"Luna asked noticing the photo she held in her hand. And without her sister even saying anything, Luna knew exactly what was going on in that head of hers. She knew firsthand how much Celestia loved Minato. And it hurt her a little seeing Celestia going through the pain like this again.
"From the look on your face, this is of great importance," Celestia said.
"I wish to talk to you about Sunset. A lot has happened on the other side of the mirror. I figured you'd like to know about it since she's your daughter!"
"So... she told you about us," Celestia said now understanding why Twilight wanted this to be a private talk. It seems that one of her biggest mistakes aside from neglecting her sister has now come back to haunt her in full force.
"Your Daugther!? I have a Niece!?" Luna exclaimed.
"You didn't tell Luna? Your own sister!?" Twilight shouted. "I've never felt this disappointed in somepony as I do right now. To think out of all ponies, it would be you."
"I think I had the right to know about my own niece Tia. Why would you not tell me about this?" Luna asked, upset about her sister keeping such a thing from her.
"I'm sorry Luna. It's just that I never knew how to bring it up," Celestia said in defeat, looking away from the two in shame.
"Tia, did you not learn anything from how you treated me so long ago? Why would you put your own child through the same pain as I? Why did you not go after her when she fled through the portal?"
"I had to stay, Luna. Equestria needed me. I'd hope she would find happiness there that she could not find here. Or that she would come back after thirty moons so we could both make amends."
"Twilight, please tell us about what has occurred in the other world. What has happened to my niece," asked Luna as Twilight told the two Princesses of the events that had occurred in the human realm.
"I wish to personly thank these noble souls for their valiant deed of saving my niece. Is it possible to arrange a meeting?"
"I believe so, though we might have to wait until the festivities have passed," Twilight said.
"Then let us discuss it elsewhere. I think I need some space from my sister at the moment," Luna said as she and Twilight left the room.
'For all of my accomplishments as a leader, I am Equestria's biggest failure when it comes to family,'Celestia thought to herself sadly while watching the gentle snowfall from the window.
Human World: Crystal prep
"Hey Hinata, did you hear about what happened?" asked a girl with neon green hair and light amber eyes as they walked down the hall towards the same destination.
"You mean what happened at CHS?" Hinata replied.
"Over thirty students arrested for kidnapping and attempted murder, as well as destruction of property. It's crazy, right? You think she knows about it too?"
"Word has been getting around about it Lemon. We will just have to ask when we see her."
"Hey, Twi! We brought lunch!" Lemon cheerfully greeted, waking up Twilight's puppy companion, as Spike happily raced towards the two visitors. "Hey there Spiky" she greeted, kneeling down to pet the pup.
"You didn't have to do that," Twilight said as her stomach growled she blushed embarrassed.
"We insist Twilight. Besides, we both know how caught up you get in your research," Hinata said offering the boxed lunch to her.
"Can't-do big projects on an empty stomach right?" Lemon added as Twilight stomach growled again.
"No, I suppose not," She admitted taking the boxed lunch from Hinata. "Thank you, by the way."
"You still plan on going to C.H.S to investigate those strange energy readings you've been studying?" Hinata asked.
"Of course! It's the source of these strange events as well as most of these energy readings I've been finding."
"Tell me, have you been informed of the recent events at C.H.S?"
"No, not yet. What happened?" Twilight asked.
"Over thirty students tried to kill one girl over a MyStable account that's been spreading other students secrets. All because they believed that she was the one behind it."
"It's not safe there Twi. If they're willing to try to kill someone from their own school by trying to burn them alive, then who knows what they'll do to someone from our school," Lemon said as she held her hand, causing the bespectacled girl to blush. "Please Twilight. At least tell us before you go there so we can be there for you."
"Well, I suppose I can put it on hold for now. After all, I got a considerable reading of energy from where that old factory was."
"You might have to wait on that one too. The police are still investigating that place."
"By the way, hows that girl that's staying with you and your family? "Hinata said changing the subject.
"She is recovering from her injuries pretty well. And should be out of her arm-cast pretty soon. But she still doesn't remember anything, not even her own name," Twilight said. "She and I agreed on the substitute name Starsong until she can remember her own name."
"What made ya decide on that name?" Lemon asked.
"Her star-shaped hair clips of all things. That, and she likes to sing. Even if she's really bad at it. I mistook it for a cat in heat the first time I heard her try to sing." Lemon couldn't help but giggle at that last part.
"Oh hey, Sakura" Sunset greeted.
"Hey Sunset. Me and some of the girls are going to meet up at the local cafe for some coffee and to just talk. I thought you would like to join us," Sakura said. "Don't worry about paying, it will be my treat."
"You know, I think I'd like that."

"Hey, Ino. How is Crystal Prep treating you?" Sakura greeted.
"It's not too bad. Though some of the students have a stick up their ass and the principal is a bitch-asuarus rex," Ino said. "Anyways, who's this?" She asked noticing the fiery-haired girl. 'Wow, her hair is gorgeous,' she thought.
"This is Sunset Shimmer. She's new here" Sakura introduced. "Sunset this is my friend Ino. She's a long time friend of mine. We both used to go to H.L.A together."
"It's nice to meet you Sunset."
"I take it we are the first ones here?" Sakura asked as she and Sunset took a seat.
"So far yeah."
"I take it Hinata couldn't make it?" Sakura asked.
"Unfortunately not," Ino said as the entrance door of the cafe opened with two very familiar girls from Sunsets past came walking in.
"Adagio, Sonata, over here!" Sakura called waving at the two.
"You okay Sunset?" Ino asked, "You look a bit spooked."
"Oh right, they went to CHS with you for a short time didn't they?" Sakura asked to which Sunset nodded "Also try not to bring up their missing sister. Its kind of a sensitive topic," she whispered.
"Hello, girls. Hey Sunset." Adagio greeted.
"Hiya sunny!" Sonata cheerfully greeted.
"Um... hey" Sunset greeted the two.'It should be okay, their powerless now. Unless they're after Sakura's geode, but I don't want to jump to a conclusion without any proof.'Sunset thought.
"You can relax Sunset, our last meeting may not have been on the friendliest of terms, but we aren't going to harm you," Adagio said seeing the tension in Sunset body. "Besides, from what we heard about what happened to you, let's just say we both suffered losses and call it even shall we?"
"Sakura's our friend. She and Narupookie have been a big help to us just like you," Sonata added.
"Narupookie?" Sunset asked looking at Sakura with confusion.
"She and Naruto are dating," Sakura answered.
"What?!" Sunset said in shock at the discovery that one of her new friends was dating a former enemy of hers.
"What can I get for you girls," asked the waitress.
"I need to use the restroom," Sunset said, as her eyes told Adagio to follow her as she got up from her seat.
"I think we also need to go refresh ourselves, don't we Sonata," Adagio said.
"We do? But the waitress just arrived," said Sonata confused.
"We won't take too long, so there's no need to worry," Adagio replied as she and her sister followed Sunset to the woman's restroom.
"You think we're after her and the boy's pendants, don't you?" Adagio asked Sunset as they entered the restroom. "I can assure that's not the case. Our pendants were a natural part of our bodies. They're not so easily replaced. Had we lost them to anything else besides that harmony magic, we would have died," Adagio explained. "That also means we're stuck here for good. Even if we found a way back to Equestria, we would slowly starve to death because we wouldn't be able to feed on anything," She bitterly added. "I suppose on the plus side, we no longer hunger as much as we used too."
"Sakura used her powers to heal our throats so we can sing again. We can't hypnotize anyone anymore, but we can at least sing. She also helped us find a place to stay around here, and they're trying to help us find our sister," Sonata said. "We really do care about them, and they care about us. So can we please just start over and let go of what happened before?" Sunset contemplates what they told her. They were in the same boat as her. They lost everything and are now trying to rebuild their lives.
"Alright, if I can be given a second chance, then you can too," Sunset said with a kind smile.
"Well then, let's get back to the others shall we?" Adagio said.
Poilce Station
Mizuki stewed in his thoughts as he waited for his interrogation to begin. He used to be the top alpha male of Canterlot High before that insufferable demon horse showed up. And in under a week, she made a complete fool out of him. And the next week after that, she ruined his longtime relationship with Tsubaki before long he became forgotten washup, almost as forgotten as that wallflower girl. Since then he vowed to find a way to exact his revenge on her. Then came the fall formal when he discovered the truth about her. That she was a talking horse from another world, and that she's been using this world as her playground until she could get some magic item so she could turn herself into a demon.
It made him sick to his stomach that they showed that filthy hellspawn mercy. They should have finished her off. Hell, he wishes he could have found that sledgehammer so he could do it himself. Then a few days later when she tried to apologize, he remembered what he told her.
"Can it Demon! I don't want your half-assed apology! You should have gone back to that manure infested world and stayed there with the rest of the barn animal rejects!" He lashed out. He couldn't help but smirk at the fact that he made her cry that day. Then came those three banshies or whatever they were. He wouldn't have been surprised if those three were in league with her, and that whole band battle was staged to make her look good. Then came Anon-a-Miss, and his long-awaited chance at revenge when he discovered who was behind the helm.
"Why would I tell on you, when you three are doing the right thing? We should work together. It'll be fun, so let's give that bully a taste of her own medicine for a change." Oh, what fun it was. Those three loved it as much as he was, using his collection of blackmail he had left behind from his glory days helped put Anon-A-Miss in the spotlight. 'The big grins we had on our faces when those five disowned the demon bitch in the hallway. It was like Christmas morning,' Mizuki rewarded them with a big gift basket of high-quality Christmas treats for getting the info and pictures off Sunsets phone.
"For us? Thank you Mizuki," Sweetie Bell said with her eyes glowing with joy.
"I should be thanking you three. After all, you three did great," Mizuki said giving them a proud, brotherly smile. Then Rainbow Dash giving Gilda her phone and the two of them planing the attack, that would have been a perfect night if it wasn't for those two bastards showing up to play hero. Especially that blond one, Naruto.'They must have made a pact with that demon bitch to get those powers,'
"Something tells me your hiding something, young man. I'd imagine it would be why you tried to hold someone hostage and try to get away," The officer said pulling him from his thoughts.
"Whats in it for me if I tell you anything?" asked Mizuki.
Canterlot mall
"Whelp, that's the last family member needed to get a gift for. Now all I need is to get a gift for that Sunset girl," Tayuya said to herself, looking at her list on her phone. "But what to get her?" She pondered. Sure, she could get her a gift card, but she felt like she could do better.
"Hey! Watch where you're going! You almost made Trixie lose her nuts," said a girl with silver blue-hair, holding a bag of cinnamon peanuts.
"Oh um, sorry. I was lost in thought," Tayuya said.
"Wait, Trixie recognizes that symbol on your hat. You're from Hidden Leaf Academy."
"Yeah, what about it?" Tayuya asked turning around to face her. 'Must be someone from CHS. If she starts blabbing about that Anon-a-Miss crap I'm gonna punch her in the throat.'
"I heard that two classmates of yours rescued someone that went to my school, and I was wondering if she was alright."
"Why do you want to know? I thought you guys hated her guts?"
"Trixie may not have been on friendly terms with her, but Trixie does not approve of what those criminals tried to do to her either."
"Alright then. She is safe, and she's staying with someone I know. Also, don't expect to see her at your school after winter break. She's transferring to H.L.A. You can relay that message to her so-called friends at C.H.S. That is, if they even remotely cared about her. Anyway, I got things to take care of, so see ya," Tayuya said walking away from the silver blue-haired girl.
'Man, I really have changed since the old days huh? The old me would have jumped the gun and probably beat the shit out of her, then spit a loogie in her face.'She thought to herself, browsing around the mall until a certain poster caught her eye. "Wait, Legend of Kaguya: Call of the Wild is out and thirty percent off the console bundle edition? I think I just found the perfect gift."

Christmas Eve, Uzumaki Residence
he snow was falling covering the entire street along with the houses. The Uzumaki home was no different, the Christmas light shined brightly. Inside Kushina and Minato were busy giving the finishing touches to the night's dinner as they were expecting a large amount of guest.
Meanwhile, in the living room, two teen's were enjoying each others company. Sunset and Naruto were each seated in different sofas, both wearing, in fact, matching sweaters that Kushina had given them earlier and enjoying some hot chocolate. "So, Hearth's Warming is like a combination of Christmas and three other holidays we have here," Naruto said as Sunset finished telling him about the Equestrian holiday.
"Pretty much," Sunset said as the doorbell rang.
"I wonder if that's uncle Nagato," Naruto said getting up from his seat to answered the door.
"Narupookie!" Sonata shouted, leaping into the house after Naruto opened the door.
Naruto jumped back from the sudden impact of Sonata literally jumping onto him. "H-Hey Sonata."
"You're supposed to call me Sonapookie," she playfully scolded with an adorable pouty face.
"Not in front of my mom Sonata," Naruto replied while rubbing the back of his head in embarrassment.
"Don't worry Naruto. I'll make sure my sister doesn't get too carried away with you," Adagio said teasingly while looking at the two with an amused smirk.
"You two are here earlier than I thought," Naruto said.
"All the better to spend more time with you," Sonata said while nuzzling Naruto's cheek. "Hey again," Sunset greeted the duo. 'Still feels pretty odd being on friendly terms with them. I wonder if this is how the others felt about me way back after the Fall Formal,' Sunset pondered.
"I'm glad you two could join us," Kushina said taking a quick break from the kitchen to greet their guests.
"Kushina," The blue haired girl said clasping her hand together with the red-haired mother. "When the time comes, I shall marry your son and give you many wonderful grandchildren," Sonata declared.
"Sonata," Naruto whined his face red with embarrassment. "Why did you say that!?"
"Oh, my dear son is growing up so fast. Why-"
"Oi! Someone mind opening the door?! My arms are full here!" shouted a voice.
'Tayuya, you are my divine savior this evening,'Thought Naruto, thanking his cousin mentally for interrupting what would have been a very embarrassing speech from his mother.
"I know who that is," Kushina said, going and assisting Tayuya by opening the door and taking the gifts.
"Thanks, auntie" Tayuya said, catching sight of Sunset standing near the doorway. "So you're This Sunset Shimmer I've been hearing about. I must say, it's nice to finally meet you in person. Names Tayuya Uzumaki, I'm Naruto's cousin," The redhead girl greeted with a friendly smile.
"Yup, that's me," Sunset replied as the two began to talk about each other and their interest and likes. The two ex-bad girls seemed to be hitting it off quite well with each other.
"So your good with a guitar, huh? I think we should do a little jam session sometime in the future," Tayuya said.
"I'll be looking forward to it," said Sunset.
Then another voice spoke up as a few more people entered the house. "We're not late are we?" said a red-haired man, accompanied by a woman with short blue hair and amber eyes, and another man with brown eyes and orange spiky hair, similar to Naruto's hairstyle, and a teenage redhaired girl with glasses.
"Nope. I'd say you're right on time uncle," Naruto said. "Yahiko, Konan, I'm glad you could make it this year,"
"As are we Naruto," Konan greeted.
"What am I, chopped liver?" The girl with glasses said, feeling ignored.
"I didn't forget you, Karin," Naruto said rubbing the back of his head. "It's just been a while since I've seen you,"
"This is amazing" Adagio gasped at how delicious Kushina's cooking is.
"Yup, not only am I amazing in the ring but in the kitchen as well," Kushina said.
"Told ya that you would like it 'Dagi," Sonata remarked.
"So, you prefer to be hands-on in the field when it comes to research? I can relate to that," said Karin as she and Sunset discussed scientific topics. 'Professor Orochimaru is gonna like this girl,' she thought.
"Sunset Shimmer, was it? If I may ask, how did you meet Naruto?" Asked Konan.
"He and his friend Sasuke pulled me out of a bad situation that occurred about a week ago," said Sunset.
"So Naruto, how many girls does this make that you rescued?" Yahiko teased.
"You would have done the same thing Yahiko. So quit teasing him. Anyways, how long are you and Kohan staying in town?"
"Up until mid-February, give or take a few days," Yahiko replied.
"Now before we start the gift exchange, there's something that I'd like to say. I have a gift for you Sunset. It's the greatest gift one can give to a person. Sunset Shimmer, I would like for you to be my daughter," Kushina said causing Sunset to gasp in shock. The others guest had a look of surprise on their faces.
"The three of us have talked about this over the past week, and we all agreed. We would love to have you as part of our family," Minato said.
"You really mean it?" Sunset asked tears of joy filling her eyes.
"Absolutely," Kushina said.
"So, what do ya say Sunset?" Naruto asked.
"You've all done so much for me, and now this? I-I don't know what to say," Sunset said with tears of joy running down her face.
"Then let me," Naruto said wrapping his new sister in a tight hug. "Welcome to the family, Sunset Shimmer-Uzumaki."
Kushina was heading for the door letting out of her house, she just stopped before opening it. "Sunset, hurry up," she said with a smile on her face.
Sunset came running from the second floor of the house wearing her new clothes that Adagio and Sonata gave her on Christmas. "Sorry, Kushina" Sunset said while composing her hair.
Kushina gave her an annoyed look "Sunset. What did we talk about?"
"I'm sorry...Mom. It's just a little weird" Sunset spoke with a blush. Kushina just smiled and placed her hand on her shoulder.
"Don't worry it will come naturally. Just give it time. Come one or your brother will chew us out" both women chuckled. Getting outside both woman entered the family's car.
"So where are we going?" Sunset asked her new family.
"Well. We are going to a place that has become more of a family tradition" Minato spoke to his new daughter. After a while of driving the family arrived to a restaurant.
"Ichiraku's ramen?" Sunset asked.
It was January on the last day winter break. For Sunset, the whole break has felt wonderful, and a bit surreal. She now had what she thought she would never have in her life: a family. A father who is wise and observant, yet kind. A mother who was everything she ever wanted in a mother. And a headstrong, yet noble and loving brother. Altogether, having dinner at a ramen restaurant.
'Twilight said to find my family, but it seems my family found me instead,'remembering what her friend wrote in her journal way back while she was struggling with the hardships that Anon-a-Miss brought. Her princess friend was quite surprised at the news of her adoption, but was happy for Sunset none the less.
"Not gonna lie, I can totally see why you're addicted to this," Sunset said enjoying her third bowl.
"I told you, once you taste it, you'll immediately get hooked," Kushina said.
'I guess that truly makes her part of the family now, huh?'Minato amusingly thought with a chuckle.
"Hey Naruto, can I ask you about something?"
"Sure. What is it?" Naruto asked.
"Could you tell me about that camping trip you and your friends went on, where you all discovered your pendants at?"
3 years ago Camp Hidden Star
"Say, did you know way-way back long ago, they used to call this place the Forest of Death?" Naruto asked "They say that all sorts of weird creatures lived here. Like leech's the size of a football that could suck a person dry of blood in five minutes. Or that there was a bear the size of a mountain, and snakes the size of trains."
"Those are old myths Naruto. If there really was a bear or a snake the size of a kaiju, people would have spotted it already," Sasuke retorted.
"Well, what about that shooting star they said crashed somewhere in this forest? Isn't that why they changed the name?"
"I figured they did it because it's a lot more marketable name than Camp Deathforest. That name would only attract creepy cultist and goths," said Sakura.
"You didn't know about that? I thought you were book smart Sakura," Naruto teased.
"I read books on medical science, not ancient myths and folklore Naruto," Sakura retorted.
"Why not? They're pretty neat," Naruto asked.
"Well for starters, they don't interest me that much. And second, I'm quite serious about becoming a doctor after I graduate."
"Is that the only thing?" Naruto asked "Seems kinda dull if you ask me. Even I read more than one thing,"
"No, I also read-"
"We're at the Glimmering Falls if you two are done arguing," Sasuke said, pulling the two out of their discussion. The three of them now taking in the sights of the rather mystic vast falls that looked like a wall made of water, when Naruto suddenly spotted something.
"Hey, check it out! I think there's a cave behind that waterfall. I say we go check it out," Naruto said excitedly, racing towards the falls for a better look.
"Naruto wait!" Sakura shouted. "Ugh," she groaned in annoyance.
"Does it really surprise you that he would do something like that?" Sasuke asked.
"No, but it's still irritating how reckless he can be," Sakura said with a sigh. "Better go after him before he hurts himself," she said as she and Sasuke followed after their blond friend.
"I knew it," Naruto said as he was about to go through the falls, but paused when he heard Sakura shouting at him.
"Dammit, would you just wait a moment Naruto?!" Sakura shouted as she and Sasuke caught up with their blond friend.
"Oh, right. My bad," Naruto said sheepishly while rubbing the back of his head. "Sorry about that," he apologized.
"If were are going to do this, then we may as well explore this cave together," Sasuke said. "Besides, someone is gonna have to pull your ass out the fire if we run into one of those giant bears," he joked.
"Yeah right. It would be me saving your ass," Naruto remarked as the three of them located another way into the cave without becoming entirely drenched by the falls.
"Look at these grooves in the walls. It looks like something burrowed into here. I wonder what did it?" Sakura said, observing the surroundings as they ventured deeper in.
"Hey guys, there's something glowing up ahead," Sasuke said. The three of them then entered a much more open area. The walls decorated with crystals, and in the center of the room was a meteorite that was cracked open with crystals emerging out of it.
"I think we found that shooting star," Naruto said while looking at the giant cracked open geode-meteorite. "I wonder if these crystals on the walls came from this?" he pondered.
"Look at this, " Sakura said noticing three uniquely colored crystals that stood out from the rest. One was a deep blue, another was bright pink, and the third was a radiant orange. "Why don't we each take one to commemorate our discovery here?" she suggested, taking the pink geode crystal.
"Sounds like a plan to me," Naruto said taking the orange one.
"I don't see why not," Sasuke said taking the last one. Suddenly the geodes began to glow brightly, transforming into pendants.
"Huh, well isn't that convenient," Naruto said looking at his new pendant.
"But how did that happen?" Sakura asked in awe.
Present
"Maybe they changed like that because you were meant to have them," Sunset said.
"You think so?" Naruto asked looking at his pendant then back to Sunset.
"I do,"Sunset answered. "So does mom and dad know about your powers?" she then asked.
"Yeah, they do. The first time I use that clone technique of mine was right in front of mom on accident." Naruto was rubbing the back of his head, remembering that rather awkward day.
Sunset, before you go, remember what I told you: your past is not today. No one at Hidden Leaf will judge you for your past grievances from your old school. Your brother and his friends have got your back, as well as me and your father.'Kushina's voice echoed inside of Sunsets mind as she walked towards the school's entrance alongside Naruto.
"You ready Sunset?" Naruto asked, pulling Sunset from her thoughts.
"Ready as I'll ever be," Sunset replied, looking at the vast gateway that led to a large three level building that had a classic yet modern look to it. A large pedestal with a red sculpture of a flame stood in front of the school. Noticing an inscription on the front, Sunset walked towards the statue's pedestal to get a better look.
"The Will of Fire," Sunset read aloud what was written on the front of the pedestal. "To endure, to protect, to be loyal and true to those you cherish. Those are what create the spark that ignites the Will of Fire in all of us." Naruto couldn't help but smile fondly as his new sister read those words. The philosophy that he inherited and followed, that forged him into who he was.
"Come on Sunset. I know this school like the back of my hand, so I'll be more than happy to show around," Naruto said, only to let out a yelp of surprise.
"Morning Narupookie!" greeted Sonata with a cute but mischievous smile.
"Did she just pinch your butt?" Sunset asked.
"She's been doing that ever since we started dating," Naruto answered in a deadpan tone with an embarrassed blush on his face.
"So you gonna show your new sister around huh?" Sonata asked, wrapping herself around Naruto's left arm. "Why don't I come along and help?"
A sky-blue haired girl with blue eyes and freckles watched the three.'You'll rue the day you took Naruto before I could confess my love to him you un-youthful dirty minx,'she thought while glaring at the siren, before looking at the new girl with curiosity. "Since when did Naruto have a sister? I guess I can see the resemblance," she thought aloud to herself. A potential new friend, and a chance to win Naruto's heart from that taco witch.
'That girl spends way too much time with Lee & Gai,'thought Tenten as she passed by her.
"This is the school gym," Naruto said. He suddenly spotted a boy around his age with a bowl cut and big fuzzy eyebrows. He was wearing green spandex and orange legwarmers, doing warm-up exercises with Tempest.
"Hey, Lee! Hey Tempest," Naruto greeted.
"Naruto! It is good to see you," Lee greeted.
"Hey," Tempest greeted. "So who's the new girl?"
"Yosh! Greetings my youthful students!" said a voice as a man that looked uncomfortably similar to Lee entered the gym.
"That's the gym teacher... Might Guy," Sonata said. "He's... weird to say the least, and that's coming from me."
"Ah, you must be the new transfer student," Guy said while pointing at Sunset. "To commemorate your first day here, I give shall you a special gift!" Guy said, pulling a green spandex suit similar to his that looked somewhere around her size. "It's durable, breathable, and always fits perfectly."
"Please tell me that's not the gym uniform," Sunset whispered worryingly to Naruto as she takes the spandex.
"It's not, don't worry. It's his thing, something about sharing the 'Springtime of Youth'," Naruto replied.
"He did the same with 'Dagi and me," Sonata said.
'Time for my entrance,'the sky-blue haired teen said to herself. She entered the gym in an impressive display of gymnastic moves worthy of the Olympics.
"Burning with fiery youth is the Hidden Leaf Academy's number one cheerleader, Skystar!" The sky-blue haired girl introduced herself striking a dynamic pose.
"Ha-Ha! Excellent entry Skystar!" Guy said giving her a thumbs up and a sparkling smile.
"Thank you, Guy. I've been practicing that over the break," Skystar said.
"Mind if we continue the tour of the school now?" Sunset asked Naruto, not wanting to put on that spandex. It didn't help that green wasn't her color in any shape or form.
"This is the chemistry classroom. Mind you, the teacher is a bit creepy looking, but he's not a bad guy."
"That over there is the counselor's office. The counselor's name is Kurenai, and she's a really nice lady," Sonata said.
"Over here is the art classroom. It's gone through a lot of changes since the previous art teacher. You see, he had an unhealthy obsession with fireworks and setting them off inside the school while saying 'Art is a bang'. Hopefully, he's getting help with that somewhere." Naruto explained.
"And this here is-"
"You damned pervert!" shouted a voice as a man with long white hair, wearing a green-gray jumpsuit was tossed out into the hallway.
"The nurse's office," Naruto finished.
"And that's the Janitor. He flirts with the head nurse, like, all the time," Sonata said.
"I'm no mere Janitor. I am Jiraiya, the gallant janitor!" The man introduced himself while striking a pose.
"Huh?" Jiraiya for a brief moment thought he saw a young Kushina and Minato looking at him, only to realize it was Naruto and a fiery-haired girl that looked quite similar to Kushina, watching as the group passed bye him. He then decided to follow the three without them knowing.
"And that's the cooking classroom. It's my favorite since I make tacos there," said Sonata.
"By the way Naruto, have you and your girlfriend made taco ramen together?" Jiraiya teasingly asked. The blonde merely gave him the stinkeye catching onto his lingo.
"That is none of your business you-"
"There's such a thing!?" Sonata asked excitedly, oblivious to the hidden meaning.
"Apparently so," Sunset said looking it up on her phone. "We'll have to try that sometime."
"Ahem, let's carry on with the tour shall we?" Naruto said, trying the change the subject and get a move-on.
"This is the music room. You'll usually find Tayuya here. Well, either here or one of the balconies."
"Oh hello there. I'm Kotohime, the music teacher here at Hidden Leaf Academy," greeted a woman with long black hair in a hime-cut style. "You must be a new student here, correct?"
"I am. The name's Sunset Shimmer-Uzumaki" the fiery-haired girl introduced.
"Ah, I can see a resemblance to your mother," Kotohime said, causing Sunset to blush. She was growing quite fond of being compared to her adopted mother. It was a nice change, rather than being reminded of turning into a demon constantly. It felt like she was finally free from that shadow of her past, and it felt nice.
"Say, do you know where Tayuya is?" Sonata asked.
"She went to get some coffee from the break room," Kotohime answered. "Well speaking of her, there she is."
"Morning guys, what did I miss?" said a sleepy-eyed Tayuya, holding a pair of travel mugs full of coffee.
"Not much. Naruto and Sonata have been showing me around the school," Sunset said.
"Cool. Looks like we got some time before classes start," Tayuya said looking at her watch. "So how about that jam session?" She asked, taking a swig of her coffee before heading over to where the instruments were held. "You said you played guitar, right?"
"Yeah," Sunset answered as the redhead handed her a guitar.
"Let's do this, you lead the song and I'll follow," Tayuya said grabbing a flute.
"Ooh, I know this one!" Sonata said, instantly recognizing the song.
âª"You said if you can fly. You would leave this all far behind you. And soar off to the sky. So blue, so blue, that sky so blue,"⪠She sang, joining the two. Sunset and Sonata were ponying up as a result.
"Dang, you're pretty awesome with that guitar Sunset," Tayuya complimented.
"Well, I was a part of a band for a short while back at my old school," Sunset said.
"That was wonderful girls," the music teacher said happily. "Are those Kitty's ears?" Kotohime asked, looking at Sunset and Sonata's new appendages. "They're absolutely adorable."
"I was gonna ask about that too."
"Huh, ain't that something," said Jiraiya
"You're still here?" Naruto asked
"I never left," replied the janitor.
CHS
"I'm guessing your Christmas wasn't too merry either," Pinkie asked sadly.
"Afraid not, Darling" Rarity replied with a sigh.
"Hello girls, how was your winter break?"
"What do you want Trixie?"
"Aww, and Trixie was gonna share all the interesting news she found out. But I guess you're not interested."
"What type of news?"Applejack asked.
"The true identity of Anon-a-Miss."
"And how do you know that Trixie?"
"Trixie might have overheard a discussion going on in the principal's office," Trixie answered. "Turns out three certain freshmen were behind it with Mizuki being their main contributor of information."
"I should of know that dammed rotten weasel was behind this! He hated Sunset from the get-go!" Applejack cursed, angry at herself for falling for this trick and at him. "Oh land sakes, what have I done?"
"Mizuki," Fluttershy gasped in fear. While Sunset may have been intimidating back in her bullying days, Mizuki was downright terrifying to her. Always looking at her with hungry eyes. She would sometimes have nightmares, wondering what he would do to her if she were ever caught alone with him.
"Excuse me, Trixie isn't finished. Those three freshmen are-"
"Applebloom, Sweetiebell, and Scootaloo, could you please come to the principles office," said Principal Celestia over the loudspeaker.
"Took the words right out of Trixie's mouth."
"It-it can't be," Rarity said.
"Your sisters got what they wanted for Christmas. Sunset's not coming back here. She transferred to the Hidden Leaf Academy," said Trixie.
"WHAT!?" the four girls said in unison.
"I can't say I blame, her given what happened. If Trixie was in her boots, Trixie would do the same."'Trixie might even do the same, given how toxic things have become here,'She said to herself walking away from the four stunned girls.
Unknown to them all, an ancient and malevolent creature has been watching them and feeding off of the turmoil.
"Even with all this negative energy that I have gathered here, I still can't interact with the mortal plane as I would like. It seems that I will need a vessel."
HLA:Lunchroom
"Yosh! Today Sansho has prepared her wonderful curry of life! "Rock Lee said excitedly.
"The curry you say? " Adagio asked with a devious smirk on her face, knowing all too well about the school's infamous curry, being a victim of it herself. It was practically a school tradition for new students to try the curry of life at least once. With only four known people that can withstand the spicy inferno of the curry of life. Those people being Might Guy, Rock Lee, Tempest Shadow, and Skystar.
"Hey Sunset, you should really the school's curry. It's quite amazing," Adagio suggested. "My sister and I have tried it, and it's quite delicious. You're in for a real treat for your first day here."Adagio watched Sunset with mischievous glee as she took a spoonful into her mouth.
"Wow, you were right Adagio. This curry is amazing! The spices blend so well with each other, and are those cashews I'm tasting? They go well with the curry," Sunset gushed.
'Did she get the mild stuff instead?'Adagio wondered, confused at the fiery-haired girl's reaction as she snuck a spoonful from Sunset's plate to taste.'No! That is definitely the hot stuff! Oh, sweet mother of Celestia, it burns!'Adagio face was turning a shade of atomic-pink, and Sonata was laughing at her Sisters expense.
"Let's see who's laughing now!" Adagio said, shoving a spoonful of the curry into Sonata mouth, her face also turning atomic-pink.
"Hey! Get your own curry," Sunset scolded the two, covering up the bowl of curry.
'Nope, I'm staying out of this one,'thought Sakura, watching the fiery hijinks happening at the moment.'Guess that makes five people that can withstand that curry now.'
"Hope I'm not interrupting anything right now," said Sasuke taking a seat.
"Not really," Sunset said, glancing at the two sirens who were now unconscious due to the spicy heat of the curry. "What's up, Sasuke?" She asked.
"I got a message from my brother, and he wanted me to share it with you. They found out the true identity of Anon-a-Miss. Apparently, it was three freshmen that started it, and a senior student named Mizuki was their main source of info on other people's secrets. The senior student was also one of your attackers from that night."
"Mizuki, that name sounds familiar," Sunset pondered before it clicked. "Now I remember him. I totally humiliated that guy and knocked him off of his proverbial throne back during my earlier days at Canterlot High. I guess I can understand why he was in on it. He held a pretty deep grudge against me, even after the Battle of the Bands."
"As for the three freshmen, their names are Applebloom, Scootaloo, and Sweetiebell," Sasuke said causing Sunset's eyes to widen in shock. "I take it you know them?"
"They were the little sisters of three of my former friend's back at CHS," Sunset answered. "I should have known it was them, but why?"
"What do mean you should have known?" Sasuke asked.
"Anon-A-Miss's first few posts were about my friends with info only they could have gotten hold of. Why didn't I see it before?"
"Did you do anything to them to make them want to wreck your life like they did?" asked Sasuke.
"That's what I am trying to understand. I never bothered them at all, even back when I when I was the queen bee of CHS."
"I think I might know," Sonata said, waking up as she sat on her butt. "I think they might have been jealous of you."
"Jealous?" Sunset asked.
"Uh-huh, you were in the spotlight after you beat us right?" Sonata asked to which Sunset nodded. "Getting all of that attention, especially from their sisters must have made them green with envy. Even greener than Lee's spandex. Combine that envy with another's hatred, and you got the chaotic cocktail that created the mess you were put into. But I'd say things turned out pretty well for you in the end, despite all of that," Sonata explained. "Now that we have that settled, do you mind helping me get 'Dagi to the nurse's office? She hasn't woken up yet and I'm getting kinda worried."
"I'm finally glad to have that dispute between the Yaks and the Kobolds finally settled," Luna said.
"So am I. I didn't think we'd ever get through to them. That whole ordeal could've ended really badly," said Twilight.
"Indeed. And to think the map would choose the two of us. With that finally out of the way, it's high time I visit my niece along with her new friends."
"Right, I better send her a message so she knows that we're coming," Twilight said.
Human World, Crystal Prep
It appears the winds of change have taken a new direction. I wonder if it has anything to do with what has been going on as of late,'thought a man with spiky light-brown hair with two braided locks on each side of his face.
"Heading out again to another school Asura?" Twilight asked.
"Apparently Canterlot High is in need of a substitute math teacher, and I go where I am needed," Asura replied.
"Could you do me a favor since your going there?" Twilight asked handing a scanning device over to him.
"Is this a boyfriend radar?" Asura teased while looking at the device.
"What?!" Twilight said blushing, "No no, it scans for unique energy signals," She answered. "Honestly, what is it with you and Cadence trying to get me a boyfriend?" She asked with a still blushing pouty face.
"Ah, I see." He then clears his throat, "Because she says while it's great you made a couple of friends, it never hurts to extend your circle of trust. And we both like to see that cute face of yours," Asura answered. "Plus, I know two boys at Konoha who would be very excited to meet you," he added with a smirk.
HLA
It's been two days since Sunset's first day at Hidden Leaf Academy. Things have been much better than she ever expected. She enjoyed meeting the other teachers and students in the school. Many of the teachers were very impressed with her skills, even the chemistry teacher Professor Orochimaru, while a bit spooky looking, was an amazing teacher and was impressed by Sunset's knowledge and know how.
Sunset walked into the chemistry lab where she saw Sakura, Adagio, as well as three new friends she made: Choji, Shikamaru, and Shino. Waving to them, she took her place next to Sakura. "So I have to ask, who is our teacher?"
"Oh. That would be Professor Orochimaru. He is one of the smartest teachers at this school," Sakura said.
"Not to mention the most creepy one," Adagio added.
"That's not a very nice thing to say about your teacher, Miss Dazzle. Kukukukuku," Said a voice from behind the girls. "There aren't many who can impress me like you Sunset. It's clear to me that you're quite the prodigy."
"So Sunset, have you considered joining a school club yet?" Sakura asked as the two walked to their lockers.
"I was wondering about that myself. What does the school have to offer?" Sunset asked. "I used to be part of the fencing club back at CHS."
"We have something similar to that. It covers multiple sword styles including fencing. It's run by Tenten, she's in charge of any club that involves using any kind of weapon," Sakura said. "I take it you'd also be interested in the music club run by Tayuya?"
"Oh absolutely," Sunset said. She had been enjoying their morning jam sessions quite a lot.
"Oh hey, Sunset, Sakura, you're just in time. Guy and Vice Principal Kakashi are having one of their rival matches," Skystar said excitedly.
"Rival matches?" Sunset asked.
"Uh huh. Those two have a long-running rivalry with each other since they were kids," Skystar explained. "I wonder what those two are going to do this time?"
"What have they done before?" Sunset asked.
"Spars, races, eating contest's, or a simple game of rock, paper, scissors," Tempest answered as she was watching the two teachers alongside Lee and Skystar, and the rest of the school.
"GO GUY GO! YOU CAN WIN!!!" Skystar cheered waving a pair of pompoms around.
'Where did she get those?' Sakura and Sunset thought at the same time.
"I believe the score is tied at fifty-eight each if I recall. And it's my turn to decide the challenge," Kakashi said.
"Alright then Kakashi. What's it gonna be this time?" asked Guy.
"Rock, paper, Scissors," Kakashi answered.
"Awww, I was hoping they were gonna race," Skystar said disappointingly. "But I'm still rooting for you Guy!" She then cheered.
"Very well. If I do not win, I shall do 500 squats while balancing on top of the front gate! That's a promise!" Guy proclaimed giving his trademark nice guy pose.
"Is he serious?!" Sunset asked, baffled at what she just heard from the gym teacher.
"Indeed he is, for that is Guy-sensei's way," Lee answered.
"Why are they wiggling their hips like that?" Sunset asked with a disturbed and confused look on her face.
"I have no answer since I don't know either," Sakura answered. "But it looks like Kakashi won."
"We must do the same Tempest!" Skystar exclaimed, pointing at the slightly taller mohawked teen.
"What, play rock, paper, scissors?" Tempest asked. "I thought Sonata was your rival?"
"That's different! She's my love rival, while you are my eternal rival!" Skystar answered. "If I do not win, I shall do 500 handstand pushups while balancing on the roof of the school!"
"Yosh! That's the way Skystar! Let your youth burn bright!" Lee encouraged, giving her a nice guy pose.
"Are you insane?! She could get seriously hurt!" Sunset exclaimed.
"Don't you worry Sunset. Win or lose, I got this," Skystar said giving the nice guy pose.
'At this rate, she's gonna end up growing big eyebrows, start wearing her hair in a bowl cut and exchange her cheerleading uniform for spandex,'Sakura thought. "Come on Sunset, let's just head to the lockers. I've had enough of their weirdness for one day," she said.
"Ha-ha! Victory!" Skystar cheered.
At the lockers
"So Naruto, I gotta ask you something," Said a teen boy around Naruto's age with brown hair and brown feral looking dark eyes, with two fang shaped markings under them. He wearing a zipped up leather jacket and black denim jeans and biker boots.
"Whats up Kiba?" Naruto asked.
"Your sister Sunset, is she dating anyone?" Kiba asked.
"No. Why do you ask?" the blonde answered only for Kiba to walk past him upon hearing the answer, heading towards Sunset and Sakura.
"Hey Sunset, I was wondering if you were going to the slopes with your brother and the others this weekend," Kiba asked.
"Of course I'll be there, " Sunset answered.
"You know, I'm quite skilled at both ski and snowboarding. Maybe I can teach you a few things and show you some of my awesome moves," Kiba boasted.
'If falling face first into the snow counts as awesome moves,'Naruto thought while rolling his eyes at Kiba's attempt at flirtatious bragging.
"Alright, I'll see ya there then," Kiba said giving a wink and point before leaving.
"Got another message from Twilight?" Naruto asked, noticing the glowing book. The way those two kept in touch reminded him of his pen pal Garra.
"Looks like it," Sunset answered opening up the magic journal to see what her friend written.
"So whats up with Twilight?" Naruto asked.
'Twilight... that name sounds familiar,'Sakura pondered.
"She and Princess Luna are coming for a visit this afternoon," Sunset said. "And she wants to meet you and Sasuke."
"Luna, that name sounds familiar," Naruto pondered aloud before it clicked. "Oh yeah! That's the name of that little sister of the lady dad used to date before he met Mom."
"Dad used to date Celestia?!" Sunset said in shock.
"The one in our world, not the princess," Naruto quickly said.
"It's still surprising," Sunset said. "Still, we need someone to pick the two up from over there."
"I can handle that Sunset," Sakura said.
CHS
"I see, that explains the rather grim feeling in the air around here," Asura said as Vice Principal Luna explained the aftermath of the Anon-A-Miss incident, and how the three young girls behind it were punished by being sent to a juvenile detention center and unable to interact with each other during their stay there.
"Indeed. It reminds me of what my old philosophy teacher once said: 'There is nothing as pure yet cruel as children," Luna said.
Meanwhile Outside
"This bi-pedal form is intriguing, to say the least," said Princess Luna, looking over her human form. She was a good bit taller than her human counterpart. Plus she was wearing a regal one shoulder night blue dress and silver heels.
"You're handling it a lot better than I did," Twilight said.
"You're Princess Twilight and Princess Luna, right?" Sakura asked.
"Indeed we are," Luna answered.
"Ah, so these are the mechanical chariots you told me about Twilight."
"They're called cars, Princess Luna" Twilight corrected.
"I should have asked Twilight how this gadget of her's works," Asura said while fiddling around with the device, before out of the corner of his eye he spotted a young girl with silver-blue hair with an expression of one deep in thought, and also a bit sad too. Putting the device away, he walked over to the girl and said, Looks like you're deep in thought over something important. Care to share what's on your mind?"
"The great and powerful Trixie is pondering a transfer to another school. Trixie just can't stand how vile things have gotten around here. Surely you must have noticed. At first, Trixie was enjoying the mischief of Anon-A-Miss was starting, but then it overstayed it's welcome and got ugly and cruel. To think Trixie's own friends would partake in such a vile deed like they did," She said, remembering how shocked and disgusted she was when she discovered that her bandmates Fuschia Blush and Lavender Lace were a part of the group that tried to kill Sunset.
"Since I've been a substitute teacher for all three schools in the area, I can tell you that your best choice would be Hidden Leaf Academy if you go through with the transfer. Crystal Prep has too much of an elitists mindset when it comes to most of its students and teachers." 'Especially that Neighsay guy,' he mentally added.
"So this is is the Hidden Leaf Academy," Twilight said while looking at the school. 'The architecture reminds me of something from Nighpon.'
"What is that strange man doing up there?" Luna asked, looking at the green-clad man on top of the gate doing squats.
"That'd our gym teacher, and don't ask," Sakura answered.
"Shouldn't someone try to get him down from there or something?" Twilight wondered aloud.
"He does weird stuff like this all the time, so don't worry about it. Speaking of gym, that's where we're going. If you two would please follow me, " Sakura said, leading the royal duo.
"I'm so glad you decided to join Sunset," Tenten said putting on her gear, "You said did fencing before, right? Care to show me what you got?" She asked.
"Gladly," Sunset replied.
"Foil, Epee, or Saber?" Tenten asked.
"Saber" Sunset answered as Tenten handed her a fencing saber.
"Best out of five?" The bun-haired girl asked to which Sunset nodded. With fast movement, swings, and strikes, the spar ended with Sunset the getting the winning strike in the fifth and final round.
"Well done my niece!" cheered a voice.
'Niece? Is she related to her?' Tenten wondered looking at the elegant woman who entered the room.
"Hey there Twilight."
"Hello again Naruto," Twilight said. "And you must be Sasuke. It's nice to meet you finally." Sasuke nodded his head silently, smiling lightly as well.
"So you are valiant young stalli- men that saved my niece. It is good to meet thee finally," Princess Luna greeted.
"It nice to meet you as well Princess Luna," Naruto greeted.
"Maybe we should chat somewhere more private?" Twilight suggested.
"Good looks and noble hearts. Yes indeed, one of these two shall make a fine husband for you my niece," Luna said.
"WHAT?!" The three teens exclaimed with blushes forming across their faces.
"But I am already dating someone, and Sunset is my sister now," Naruto blurted.
"With all due respect Princess, it's too soon for us to consider marriage. There are things we wish to accomplish after we graduate from school, "Sasuke said.
"So uh, hey, remember than Anon-a-miss incident? We finally found out who did it," Sunset said trying to change the subject, telling Twilight about what she had been told.
"Wow. So, in other words, this whole Anon-a-Miss ordeal was just like the Gabby Gums incident back home, only ten times worse," said Twilight.
"Gabby Gums?" Naruto asked. 'Sounds like some weird obscure toy from the eighties or something,' He thought.
"Those three girls have pony counterparts back in Equestria that did something similar with their school newspaper under the alias of Gabby Gums. At first, it started out as just silly town gossip, but then things started to get out of hand when the gossip became too personal and rather hurtful," Twilight explained.
"Hmm yes, I recall that incident," Luna said. "But no one was being framed, nor did it turn into something so ugly."
Police Station:Jail Cell
""You have visitors," the officer said as two girls stood alongside him.
"Well, well, so what do I owe the pleasure of meeting you girls today?" The white-haired teen asked.
"We want answers Mizuki," Applejack said.
"Humph, I thought I already answered about Anon-A-Miss."
"Did you manipulate Applebloom into making that nasty account?" Applejack asked.
"Did you harm my sister? I swear to god if you did I will make your remaining days on this planet a living hell!" Rarity threatened.
"Use them? It was a partnership. And why would I harm such sweet little girls who only wanted to get rid of the nasty demon that plagued the school? Like I said to the officer, it was all their idea. I just helped them."
"You did use my sister! You made her steal Sunset's phone!" Rarity shouted at the white-haired teen, who merely chuckled at her outburst.
"Is that what you think? Oh no no no, she did it all by herself. I didn't tell her to do anything," Mizuki answered. "So is that all? You're here to try to pin all the blame on me?" He asked. "Did you even bother to talk to your sisters? You didn't, did you? " He said, noticing a flinch in their scowling faces when he asked that. "Ignoring them again in favor for the demon horse that pretends to be human," He said, shaking his head from side to side.
"You're in no position to lecture us about our sisters you fiend!"
"So what now? You gonna go apologize to your pet she-demon and put her back on her collar and leash? So you can go back to pretending to be her friend to appease the Princess?" Mizuki mockingly asked.
"She isn't a pet! She's our friend! " Applejack yelled making Mizuki laugh at what she said.
"Oh please, you would have been more than happy to throw that bitch off a bridge if it wasn't that Princess telling you otherwise. The fact that you ditched her in the hallway like you did only prove's that I'm right. That thing was nothing but a charity case, and a trophy pet," He stated. Rainbow Dash awoke gasping for breath as if she just got done running a twenty-mile marathon. She has been getting horrible dreams ever since that day Naruto showed up. Ever since Twilight slapped her across the face and called her and the others lower than trash. Now, because of how she was an accomplice to Sunset's assault, she was now in Juvie due to a plea deal that can only be counted and described as a miracle. On good behavior, she only had to stay here for two months and spend the rest of her sentence on probation. Her mind raced back to what she was told earlier today after a talk with Lightning Dust.
"It was Scootaloo and her two pals, Mizuki was helping them. That bastard knew the truth the whole time, and he used us so that he could get his revenge on Sunset Shimmer." Lighting Dust explained, squeezing her hand into a fist, and squeezed tightly. "We were all played by three brats and the former biggest asshole of Canterlot High. We got played like a fiddle."
"Why... why would she do this? Why would she hang around that creep?"
"Do you really think they'll honor their deal?" Came a voice.
"Who said that?" Mizuki asked when a ghost-like creature appeared before him, covering the cell with a thin layer of frost.
"The judge will have the final say on your fate. Do you really think you will be given any mercy?" The spirit asked.
"What do you mean?" The white-haired teen asked.
"Though you know the truth, they do not nor will they listen. They will merely brush you off as a madman."
"You have been made out to be the demon, while the real demon lives happily ever after. Is that what you want? You, rotting away in prison while she gets to live freely?" The creature asked. Images of him suffering and wasting away in prison while Sunset was living a happy, wonderful life appeared before him. A life that should be his, not hers.
"No...NO! I won't let that fucking demon barn animal get off scot-free again! I'll do it all by myself this time! I'll kill that Naruto and all his little friends, then I'll butcher her like the god damned animal she is!" Mizuki declared.
"Become one with me Mizuki, and I shall give you the power to achieve your ambition," the spirit said, holding it's limb in front of him. "You cannot defeat a demon like Sunset as a mere mortal. Only using powers like a demon, can you have the chance to slay her," The spirit explained.
It made sense, he had been trying to defeat a demon with normal methods when he should have been fighting fire with fire. "I accept your deal spirt," Mizuki said taking the creature's hand.
Weekend at the Mountains! Shadows and Leaves clash at the slopes!
"It's beautiful here," Sunset said observing the snow-covered pine forest and mountain tops.
"It's even better at the top of the mountain," Naruto replied.
"Whats even better than the sights are the slopes," Tayuya said, walking up to the rest of the group. "You guys ready for this? Cause I am," The redhead said excitedly.
"Narupookie, what do you think of my suit?" Sonata asked, walking up to the blond wearing a rather tight looking blue and pink ski-suit. "It allows maximum mobility and feels like I'm wearing nothing at all," she said in a sultry tone.
Meanwhile on an Approaching Bus
"It's a shame Sugarcoat, and Soursweet couldn't make it," said a girl with blue hair, wearing goggles on her head. "But still, this weekend is gonna be an awesome, right Ino?! Right Lemon?!"

"So much Data to analyze!" Twilight said with glee, taking out her laptop and plugging her scanning device into it. "This is so exciting!" She said loudly as she typed and clicked away on her portable computer.
"So what did you discover?" Starsong asked.
"There are two energy signatures found here that run on their own unique wave pattern, unlike the ones at CHS," Twilight explained.
"Looks like I've also found something out," Starsong said looking at the screen.
"Oh, what would that be?" Twilight asked.
"We stayed here too long and missed the bus back," Starsong said pointing at the time in the corner of the laptop screen.

"and you two are Blue thunder and Lemonade?" the redhead asked the other two besides Ino and Neji.

"That's why I helped Applebloom and Scootaloo with Anon-a-Miss! And at least Mizuki acknowledged me, unlike you!" Outside the Lodge
"She's here," the pale creature growled, looking at the Lodge from a distance."There's nowhere you can run now, demon. I'll impale your remains on a pike of ice," it declared, letting out a beastly howl.
"Applebloom, there's a lot I wanna say and ask right now, but I'm not sure where to start." Applejack said with a stern tone in her voice.
Under normal circumstances, the younger sister would flinch and cower under such a tone, but Applebloom merely lowered her head in shame.
"E'yupp," said Big Macintosh with a look of disappointment on his face.
"What made you think you could trust someone Like Mizuki? Sunset may have been bad, but Mizuki was ten times worse."
"Well, he hadn't done anything in a long time after Sunset made a fool out of him, and he was really kind and understanding. And he brought up a good point."
"And what would that be?"
"AJ, were you just hanging around her because of that Twilight girl?" Applebloom asked.
'That thing was nothing but a charity case, and a trophy pet,'she heard that mocking voice of Mizuki in her head.'You would have thrown that bitch off a bridge if it wasn't for that princess,'Applejack shook her head to get him out of her head.
"I admit I was skeptical about it at first but, after spending time with her and getting to know her, I did grow to see her as a friend, even... like-like a member of the family," the elder sister admitted. It was a late evening at Asura Residence, but the paperwork before needed to be examined and taken care of. Only to be interrupted. 'Just the break I needed,' Asura thought, seeing who was calling. "Hello, Cadence. A late evening of work for you as well?" He asked.
"How are Celestia and Luna doing?" Cadence asked.
"They're hanging in there. This whole aftermath of this cyberbullying incident has left the whole school as grim as a funeral."

"Well well, I wasn't expecting to find you here as well," Said a voice, causing both girls turn to see a man with elongated limbs and raggedy clothes, white hair that moves on its own, looking like it was made out of a foggy mist. And an unnaturally large mouth full of pointed teeth and icy blue glowing eyes. "That makes this even better."
"What the hell is that thing?!" Sunny Flare asked in terror as both girls stood frozen in fear. The pale man dashed towards the two with unnatural speed, slashing its claws at Adagio giving the girl a nasty gash on her right arm as she was slammed to the ground. 'It only attacked her? Why?' the crystal prep girl thought.'I have to run, I have to get help I-'Her thoughts were interrupted as she found herself trapped in a circle of frozen spikes that surrounded her.
"You can't escape me, and nothing will save you from me!" He said while glaring at her while holding the orange hair girl by her injured arm. "So, where are the other demon skanks?" the pale man asked looking at his victim.
"I'm not telling you anything," Adagio grunted out defiantly, only for the white-haired creature to dig his claws into her wound making her grunt even more in pain.
"Leaf hurricane!" Shouted a voice as Rock Lee kicked the creature in the head, forcing it to let go of Adagio.
"Vacuum palm!" shouted Neji Shattering the spikes
"Neji!" Sunny gasped.
"Get going, hurry!" Neji order to which she nodded. "Can you move?" Neji asked helping Adagio up. "It's best if you get to safety. Lee and I will handle this,"
"I only came here for that demon bitch, but if you fools wish to die then so be it," The pale man said.
A sudden loud noise along with several strange growling sounds awoke the two sleeping redheads. "What the hell is with all that noise?" Tayuya asked as she and Sunset got off the couch they both fell asleep on and exited their room.
"I don't know but, I gotta bad feeling about this," Sunset said. As they went down the hall and ventured towards the source of the commotion. As both Girl's got Closer they felt the air get colder like someone left a window open, but there was else to it something sinister that made them both feel uneasy as they got to the source. "What is that?" The fiery-haired girl gasped, seeing Rock Lee and Neji fighting some pale skinned monster.
"Quick, over here before that thing spots us!" Tayuya said, spotting a bar counter.
"Things aren't looking too good," Sunset said while glancing a peek of the fight.
"I got an idea," Tayuya said. "Hey, you! Make Fuzzbrows drink that!" She said, tossing a bottle of gin to Neji.
"What are you doing giving him alcohol!?" Sunset asked.
"Back when I was a part of the sound five gang, we spiked the punch at a school dance. Lee got drunk off his ass and started beating the crap out everyone and wrecked the place there while saying a bunch of random drunken nonsense," Tayuya explained. "Turns out he's a natural drunken fist user."
"How is that supposed to help?" Sunset questioned.
"You'll see," She answered confidently.
"Lee," said Neji grabbing his green-clad friend's attention.
"What is it?"
"Drink up." Forcing his mouth open and pouring the alcohol down his throat.
"What are you looking at ya ugly (hic) snowman?" Lee slurred out.
"Incredible," Sunset gasped. "He can't lay a hit on him," She said, watching Lee easily doge the pale man's attacks and delivering unorthodox but powerful counters, looking like as if he were dancing with it.
"Hold still you green-gah!" the creature screamed.
"Achoo!" Lee sneezed onto the creature.
"I said HOLD STILL!" freezing Lee's leg in place.
"Lee!" Neji said, rushing to his friend's aid only to be slammed into a wall by a powerful backhand by the frost demon.
"Shit! Not good. Okay, plan B."
"That would be?"
"We set the frosty bastard on fire," grabbing two bottles, a lighter, and a cleaning cloth. "On the count of three, we throw."

"Two,"
"Three!" They both said nodding as Tayuya lit the flame.
"Die in a fire asshole!" The redhead shouted as the two tossed a Molotov cocktail at the beast.
"Let's book it Sunset!" Tayuya shouted as the red-haired duo fled.
"It's her," The frost demon hissed catching sight of his prey.
"Dynamic Entry!" Came a voice, the pale demon receiving a powerful kick to the head.
"Another one?!" The frost creature asked. Looking at the older green-clad man in front of him.
"I don't know who you are, but I don't approve of you attacking my students," Guy said.
"Get out of my way! I will not be denied!" The creature said, only to get punched hard in the gut.'This one is much stronger than the other'The creature thought as he was then hit with an uppercut which knocked him into the air, and then slammed down into the ground with another punch and sent skidding across the floor.
"Enough of this!" The pale creature shouted leaping out the away from Guy's assault and creating a large thick wall of ice between him and the green-clad man. The creature then ran down the hallway the girls went down.
"You won't get away from me!" the frost beast shouted hurling an icicle at the fleeing duo.
"Sunset look out!" Tayuya shouted, pushing Sunset out of harm's way as a barrage of icicles spears struck her. The fiery-haired could only gasp in shock as the frozen spikes pierced the redhead next to her.
"TAYUYA!" Sunset screamed, rushing over and cradling her injured friend in her arms. "Tayuya, why?"
"I made a promise to someone that I'd do anything in my power to protect those who are precious to me, so that I never have to see another friend die. Because you and I are a lot alike Sunset. To be angry at the world and to become a despicable bastard to lash out in hate when deep on the inside, we are crying in pain. I know the same loneliness you went through." She confessed, struggling through the pain her body was in. "You're not a she-demon or Anon-A-Miss or anything like that. You're Sunset Shimmer-Uzumaki. You're my family and my best friend, and don't you dare forget it." She finished, her brown eyes shedding tears as they look into Sunset's cyan eyes, which were also tearing up.
"Don't feel too bad, you'll get to die with her after I make you squeal in agony!" The pale creature said, now standing behind the two, forming razor sharp claws of ice on his hands.
"NO ONE HURTS MY FRIENDS!" Shouted a voice, as Sakura slammed her fist into the frost demons gut, sending it flying into a wall.
"Sakura," Sunset gasped in awe of her friend's strength.
"Chidori Senbon!" Came another voice as needles of electricity struck the stunned frost demon, causing him to howl in pain."Naruto! Finish it now!"
"Sasuke..."
"You got it Sasuke! Rasengan!" The blonde replied slamming a spiraling orb into the wendigo's face.
"Naruto."
"Hang in there Tayuya, I'll get you fixed up," Sakura said, using her healing powers on the injured girl. "Are you okay Sunset?"
"I'm fine Sakura, just focus on her," Sunset replied. "And thanks, I was wondering when you guys would show up."
"Well, it looks like we made it on time," Naruto said with a grin.
"It's not over yet," Sasuke said. "It's getting back up," The others turned to look as the creatures face began to reform back to normal, with sicking crunching and squelching sounds as it lifted itself back onto its feet.
"YOU!!" The frost demon shouted with its sight focused on the blonde. "I will devour your flesh and bones!"
"Before I kill that demon cunt, you'll die first Naruto!" The frost Demon declared.
'How does this thing know Naruto?'Sakura wondered to herself as she continued healing Tayuya.
"There is something familiar about this freak," said Naruto as he was looking at the creature's features.
"So you noticed," The frost demon said with a grin. "That's right. It's me Mizuki. And better than before, because I'm the one with power now!"
"But how?" Sunset asked.
"When those five broke their bond with you, it drew my attention to your school. The place became a feast for me with all the anger and hatred mixed with magic," Mizuki explained. "Despite all the power I gained, for some reason, I was unable to interact with the physical plane as I wished,"

"Oh right, I'm talking about the Windigo that I've become one with. Two minds becoming one, the memories get a little mixed up." Mizuki answered, causing the firey haired girl eyes to widen in shock. "Since you lot are feeling so talkative, why don't you hand over the demon bitch?" He asked, pointing at Sunset. "I might even consider letting you live if you do."
"You're not laying a hand on my sister!" Naruto declared, causing the frost demon to laugh.
"You call that thing your sister?" He asked while continuing to laugh. "Do you even know what she is?" Asked Mizuki. "She's nothing but a horse! A stupid barn animal! She's only pretending to be human! But then again, you probably slept with that disgusting creature to get those powers, didn't you? Tell me, does calling her your sister while you're fucking her make it hotter? I must say, you're pretty messed up kid."
"Shut your ugly-ass face!" Naruto shouted as he leaped at Mizuki, delivering a spinning heel kick to the face, knocking out a few teeth in the process.
"Oh well, can't say that I didn't offer you mercy. But this works out fine for me."
"Sunset, you and Tayuya, get to safety," Sasuke ordered.
"Leave this to us," Sakura said. finishing up healing Tayuya's wounds as she helped the redhead up.
"Please be safe, all of you," said Sunset with a worried glance. Wrapping an arm around Tayuya.
"Don't any of you dare die on us!" Tayuya said with as much strength she could muster, as she and Sunset left.
"If you think I'm gonna let you get away that easily demon horse then your wrong! There's nowhere you can run I'll find you, and I'll be with their decapitated frozen heads in tow!"
"We should take this fight outside so that others don't get caught in the way," Sakura
"And we don't need you setting this place on fire," Naruto added with a smirk while glancing over at Sasuke.
"You're gonna hold that over my head as much as you can, aren't you?" Sasuke asked, to which Naruto merely grinned as he turned his focus back on Mizuki. The frost demon then raced towards the three. "Now's the time to show you a technique I've been working on. Chidori-Spear!" A spear of lightning that extended from Sasuke's hand pierced through Mizuki in the blink of an eye, stopping him in his tracks. But the electric spear didn't stop there, it also pushed the windigo beast through a window.
"Now that we're outside, we can fight without any problems. Naruto, Sakura, don't hold back," Sasuke said.
"You don't have to tell me twice," said Sakura as her fists started glowing with pink energy. "Cherry Petal Barrage!" She then unleashed a swarm of punches upon Mizuki. Sakura finished her attacks with a powerful uppercut that knocked the frost demon into the air.
"Fireball!" Sasuke shouts out, launching a large ball of fire directly from his mouth, hitting the suspended Mizuki head on.
"Can someone please tell me what the hell is going on here?!" Indigo zap asked. "Sunny is freaking out over here, and you two look like you got into a fight with a rabid animal or something," She said, pointing at Adagio and Tayuya.
"Shouldn't we call the cops for help?" Lemon zest asked.
"Oh yeah, like that's gonna work. 'Hello police, yeah, we are being attacked by a fucking yeti right now'," Tayuya said sarcastically.
"Yeti?" Lemon asked confused.
"What attacked us wasn't human, and I doubt they make it through that storm," The redhead explained looking out the window.
"It was a crystal clear night just moments ago, and the weather report said nothing about this," Indigo Zap said, now also looking out the window.
"Looks like calling the cops is out of the question. There's no signal whatsoever," Ino said while looking at her phone.
"What?!" Lemon Zest exclaimed taking out her phone. "No way... how?"
"What is going on?" asked a sleepy Sonata, only to spark fully awake at the sight of her injured sister. "Oh my gosh Dagi! Your hurt!"
"I'm fine Sonata. Tayuya has it worse," Adagio said as she looked at her bandaged arm.
"Don't worry about me. Sakura patched me up good with her powers," Tayuya said. "It just looks bad because of my clothes," she said, glancing down at her now torn up and blood-stained clothes.
"Will someone tell us what is going on already? "Indigo zap
"It's a windigo ancient creature that feeds off of hatred and strife," Sunset explained grabbing everyone's attention. "They have power over the frost and cold this storm no doubt his doing. I didn't think any of them still existed let alone be here,"
"Wait, for realizes? Narupookie is fighting one of those frost demons! But they don't usually attack alone, they're usually in a group." Sonata said.
"I have to help them somehow," Sunset said. "I can't just stand by and do nothing while they're out there fighting that windigo,"
"How?" Tayuya asked.
"Naruto and the others are the only ones with the power to fight that thing. If try anything now we'd only get in the way, " She explained. " I understand your frustration, I want to be there fighting alongside them too if I could. The best thing we can do right now is to stay where its safe "
"Frost demons, this sudden storm I gonna find out what this all about," said Indigo Zap about the getup and leave the room.
"Did you not hear anything I just said!?" Tayuya shouted, "None of us here have the ability to fight that monster!"
"What makes them so special that they can?"
"Well for one, they're the reason Sunset and I are still alive," Tayuya said pointing again at her torn blood stained clothes. "And second, Sasuke and Sakura are my friends and Naruto is part of my family. And when those three team up, there is nothing they can't do. So you just need to have faith in them like I do. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm getting a change of clothes and some sleep." She finished as she got up to head to the bathroom to change, then the redhead started feeling light-headed and started stumbling around a bit.
"Easy Tayuya, you lost quite a bit of blood back there," Sunset said catching her friend and helping her maintain her balance.
'There's gotta be a way to help them,'Sunset thought to herself.
"You're gonna try something, aren't you? Even though they told you not to?" asked a voice behind her.
"Kiba?" Sunset asked when she saw the teen standing alongside Might guy, Lee, and Neji.
"Let's go."
"Your wounds aren't healing as fast as they were before. You're at your limit aren't you?" The Uchiha asked as the wounds on the windigo's body were closing up much slower than before.
"I'd tell you to just give up, but you won't, will you?" Sasuke asked, looking down at the collapsed frost demon. "You would keep coming after us and Sunset, wouldn't you?" The raven-haired boy asked as he was preparing another Chidori. The pale creature merely grinning at him in response. "Then it's best to just end you here."
"You damned brats think you've won?" Mizuki asked. "This is only the beginning! " The windigo then let out an eerie howl, and from the shadows of the forest, something with glowing red eyes came charging at the three forcing them to leap away.
"What the?" Naruto asked as a large moose with glowing eyes and an unnatural rabid look on its face stood between them and Mizuki.
"Windigos can take control of animals," Mizuki said as more glowing eyes appeared around them.
"Brothers! Come forth!" Mizuki shouted as four ghost-like beings appeared near Mizuki.
"There was more than one?!" Sakura cried out in shock
Several of the possessed animals came together, only to be encased in ice. As the four spirts entered the ice figure, the three watched in horror as a moose, a bear, and several wolves fused together into a twisted abomination that broke out of the case of ice, letting out a ghastly howl.
"Two can play with numbers! Shadow clones!" Naruto shouted, creating a small army of clones that charged at the monsters along with the other possessed animal's, but the clones sent after the abomination were easily overpowered by the twisted beast's claws, taking out several with each swipe.
"Stay close Sakura," Sasuke said as the two stood back to back, fending off the oncoming horde of animals. From crows and owls, to coyotes and wolfs and deer charged at them, only to be forced apart when the abomination leaped at them with several spears of ice coming quickly towards them.
"Shit," Sasuke cursed while barely dodging one of the ice spears.
"You should have abandoned that little demon bitch when you had the chance. You have no hope of defeating me," Mizuki said, only to be hit by an oncoming truck.
"Again with the damned vehicles," Mizuki cursed as he stood up again.
"What up guys?" Kiba said with a smirk.
"Kiba?" Naruto asked in shock.
"Yeah, and it's not just me," Kiba answered as Might Guy, Lee, and Neji jumped out of the back of the truck and into the fray.
"Time to finish you off! Giants Rasengan!" Naruto shouted only for the abomination to get in between Mizuki taking the blow destroying the twisted creature as two windigo spirts left the destroyed remains.
"In the end, your struggle was pointless," Mizuki said lifting the blonde up by the throat triumphantly
"Naruto!" Shouted a voice
"Sunset?" Each of the three said, as their geodes began to glow.
"Oh good, she came to watch you die," The windigo said ignoring the glowing, only catching notice of them when a fiery aura coated around Naruto, burning his arm, forcing him to drop the blonde as his arm melted away. One by one, the fiery aura suddenly surrounded the three before covering Sunset.
"What is this?!" Mizuki asked in shock and fear as he clutched his burnt stump.
"This is the power of our bond!" Sunset exclaimed. "These are the flames of friendship! A monster like you can never extinguish them!" Sunset declared, as the four teens now stood together.
"Enough about your stupid friendship! Just shut up and die !" Mizuki shouted, hurling a spear of ice at them only to watch it evaporate before it could even come close to them. "What?! T-This can't be!" He shouted in terror. One by one, the three teens raised a hand into the air forming a three colored fireball.
"Take this! Trinity Attack: Flaming Inferno!" They then threw their hands down, hurling the fireball at Mizuki. The former human turned frost demon let out an unnatural scream of pain as the fire burned him alive. His pale flesh bubbling and melting off his bones, and his bones flaking away into nothing. And like that, the storm surrounding the area vanished.
"To be consumed by so much hatred, and allow himself to become such an evil creature," Sunset lamented, looking at the scorch-mark on the ground that used to be Mizuki.
"He chose this fate himself Sunset," Sasuke said putting a supporting hand on the girl's shoulder.
"What was that? That's never happened before," Sakura asked still amazed at what they did.
"Magic here seems to have a mind and will of its own in this world, and I've never fully understood it. But, I believe It's because of my bond with you all that you were able to do that."
As the four teens watched the sunrise together, little did they know that they were being watched.
"Those children are quite interesting, eh?"
"To wield powers like that and slay that frost creature. The others will want to hear of this."
Meanwhile, the two remaining windigos were fleeing north only to find themselves crossing paths with a man with long brown hair and crimson eyes.
"Nuances," the mysterious man hissed, glaring at the frost demons. "I come here sensing someone similar to me and my brother, and I find nothing but a pest." With a flick of his wrist, a lightning bolt struck the phantoms of frost, obliterating them where they stood.
"This here is Minato Namikaze. He's an old friend of your father," Granny Smith introduced.
'He looks like that boy from before. Wait a minute, he was at the school that day,'Applejack thought. "You knew my father?"
"I did, and I also know you Applejack. It's been a long time," Minato said. "I'm guessing you don't remember me."
"I'm afraid not," Applejack said.
"Well, I don't blame you there. You and your brother were still very young when I last saw you," Minato said. "And this would be our first time meeting, Apple Bloom." He greeted, looking at the youngest of the Apple family
"How can you want to meet me? I'm nothing but trash," Apple Bloom said shamefully.
"You may have done wrong, yes. But when you admit you've done so, nothing but good came from it," Minato said. "Because of it, I was able to find Sunset, and she became part of our family." This bit of news surprised the Apples in the room.
'I just thought Sunset was just staying with them. But she's now the daughter of the Red Hannya?! And my mom used to be friends with her too.'Applejack thoughts were racing at these revelations.
"But Sunset shouldn't have had to go through what the others and I put her through. I destroyed an innocent person's life over petty jealousy and nearly got her killed. She has every reason to hate me till the end. I'm no better than a monster."
"Monster's don't feel guilt or shame for the wrongs they have done Apple Bloom," Minato said. "And from the looks of things, I'd say you have learned your lesson. Therefore, my wife and I have decided to help you out by paying off your bail."
"You're paying my bail!?" Apple Bloom asked in shock. "But-but why?"
"Both your father and mother were very close friend's of both me and my wife, and we want to help your family through this, as well as for our families to reconnect."
"Minato... I-I don't know what to say," Apple Bloom said in shock.
Minato then turned towards the second eldest Apple. "Tell me Applejack, do you remember a boy who used to call you Jackie?"
Reforging a tattered and lost bond! Uzumaki's and Apples!
It's been almost a week since Wendigos were defeated, and things seemed to be continuing as normal for the students of Hidden leaf Academy.
"You know, I think we could make a great duet band if we wanted to do that," Said Tayuya, as she and Sunset finished another one of their morning jam sessions. "You got a great singing voice, not to mention you're great with the guitar. And with me at your side playing my flute, I think we'd be pretty damn awesome."
"You think so?" Sunset asked in a somewhat bashful tone.
"Hell yeah," Tayuya answered. "I'll see ya after class," The redhead said, fist bumping with her friend before leaving.
"It's been quite a while since I've seen Tayuya smile like that," said Kotohime fondly. "I can tell you mean a lot to her."
"Who is that?" Sunset asked, seeing the music teacher's gaze now focused on a picture on her desk. It was a picture of a girl that looked like a younger version of her but also different.
"That's my daughter, Kin Tsuchi," The music teacher answered.
"Tsuchi?" Sunset asked I thought your last name was Fuma?"
"She took her father's last name as her way of remembering him," Kotohime explained. "My daughter was Tayuya's first friend, back when they were still small, and the two were practically inseparable. Tayuya was like her big sister, and to me, she was like having a second daughter," Kotohime said, her eyes in a trance of nostalgia. "Those two would do just about everything together. From catching bugs and frogs to playing music. I wish those days would never end. Eventually Kin wanted to spend time with her father and him the same, so she left to spend time with him, which eventually lead to her moving away to spend time with him, leaving Tayuya feeling lonely and it tore at our hearts, not having her around."
"What about letters?" Sunset asked.
"For a while, it was one of the things we both looked forward too. But things came up for them, and they weren't able to write. It left Tayuya feeling like she was forgotten. Her cousin Naruto did what he could for her, but it wasn't enough sadly. That loneliness turned into spitefulness, frustration, and even hate, leading her down the wrong tracks in life."
"She joined that gang soon after that, didn't she?" Sunset asked to which the older woman nodded.
"Yes, She ended up joining Kimimaro's gang which he called the Sound Five gang, leading Tayuya down a life of troublemaking and delinquency. It didn't help that she also had a crush on the leader. But to be fair, he was a handsome young man if I do say so myself," Kotohime added trying to lighten the mood. "My daughter did come back to Konoha county, though their reunion didn't go too well."
"Why not?" Sunset asked
"She felt like Kin abandoned her, and she lashed out at her. Though I think part of her was confused on how to feel, despite that Kin didn't give up on her and neither did Naruto. Together they were able to reach her, and they were able to bring back the girl we all loved."
"A few days later thought was when it happened. Tayuya realized she wanted a better life and decided to part ways with Kimmimaro and his gang they didn't take it too lightly to the point one of them pulled a gun and tried to shoot her. My daughter blocked the bullet and protected her." at the moment Sunset mind drifted to how Tayuya protected her from Mizuki's attack and what she told her.
'I made a promise to someone that I'd do anything in my power to protect those who are precious to me. So that I never have to see another friend die.'
"Tayuya blamed herself for what happened to Kin for quite a while after to the point I was afraid she would hurt her self or worse. Thankfully she never did, but ever since my daughter's death life has been an uphill battle for the both of us. You reached her in a way that only my daughter had. For her to open her heart to you like that, it takes someone exceptional to do something like that. It's a shame that others from CHS couldn't see that,"
"Yeah..." Sunset sadly replied, her thoughts drifting to her former friends for what felt like the first time in a long while. She had been so occupied with her new family and her new school and friends, that she didn't really give them much thought. Granted she did talk about them to the counselor Kurenai, Tayuya, and Sakura, but it was mainly to vent out her sorrow and frustration. A small part of her wondered how they were, and if they even missed her. Or if they were just fine with her out of the picture.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to bring up any bad memories," Kotohime apologized.
"No, it's fine," Sunset said, pulling herself from her thoughts.
"Despite the circumstances that brought you here, I'm glad you came to this school Sunset," Kotohime said.
'What's this?' Tayuya wondered, spotting Naruto and Minato at one of the outdoor balconies. Curious, the redhead decided to eavesdrop on their conversation secretly.
"There was something you wanted to talk to me about?" Naruto asked.
"Yeah, I did. Do you remember a girl named Jackie?" Minato asked.
"Jackie... for some reason that name sounds familiar, but I can't remember who it belonged too," Naruto said, pondering who the name belonged too before something clicked. "She was that girl from that farm we used to visit, right?"
"Then perhaps the name Applejack sounds more familiar?" Minato asked, causing Naruto's eyes to widen in shock at the recognition of the name of one of Sunset's former friends.
"Wait, Jackie was her?" 'And to think I didn't recognize her when I saw her at the cafe that day,' Naruto thought to himself.
"Well, it has been a long time since you two last saw each other," Minato said. "We'll be meeting with them after school today. I would like you, and possibly Sunset as well to join."
"Oh hell no," The redhead hissed to herself, storming away from the scene without either of them noticing her.
"I don't think that's a good idea Dad. I don't think she'll want to talk any of them. Especially after what happened."
"I won't force her to go, which is why I want you to go ask her."
"Sorry Uncle, I can't let you do that. I'm not letting Sunset have to go through the pain of dealing with them. They don't deserve her, none of them do for what they have done to her. It's time for Operation: Flossy Possy."
"Girls night out, huh? Sorry Tayuya, I have other things planned this evening. Otherwise, I'd love to join," said Adagio. "But maybe Sonata would like to join you."
'I think she's gonna have other things planned too,' The redhead said to herself.
"Say Karin, when was the last time we did something fun together?" Tayuya asked her fellow redhead.
"Um-"
"Exactly, too damned long! So you, me, and Sunset are gonna have ourselves a night on the town doing awesome shit and having a hell of a time!"
"Awesome shit huh?" Karin questioned, wondering what's gotten into her beanie wearing relative.
"I'm good at improvising. So whatever we do it's gonna be great," Tayuya answered.
"Tenten!" Tayuya greeted while walking up to the bun-haired girl.
"Huh?"
"You, me, Sunset, and Karin are gonna have ourselves a girls night out, so you're gonna have to put polishing your sword collection on hold."
"What's the occasion?" Tenten asked curiously.
"Just four girls having a good time is all."
"Sup pineapple."
Shikamaru sighed loudly, before turning his attention to Tayuya. "What do you want?"
"You're gonna help me."
"With what?"
"With pulling off Operation Flossy Possy,"
"Operation what now?"
"I'm trying to make a great girls night out, and I need some help pulling it off. There's a concert going on at the rec center on the east side of town, and I need your help getting tickets for it."
"Yo Sonata!"
"What's up Tayu?" The blue-haired girl asked.
"I got word that someone might be making a move on your man."
"What?! Who's trying to take my Narupookie?"
"Some chick named Jackie."
"Sunset, yo!" Tayuya called to her friend when she appeared.
"There you are Sunset, there's something that I need to-" Naruto said, walking up to the two before being yanked away by a grumpy Sonata.
"Narupookie, we need to talk," Sonata said.
"No can do on that. Naruto, Sunset and I got plans, and it's clear you got something to take care of." Tayuya said.
"I take it Sunset's not coming?"
"She's with Tayuya at a concert, and where's mom?"
"She's already there, so it's best if we get going."
"So how do you know the apple family?"
"Applejacks Father and I were good friends back then."
"I just can't believe this," Applejack murmured to herself in awe. Mainly because that her idol was at her home, and that her idol was once friends with her mother.
"What's this I hear about you slamming a girl into a table?" Kushina asked in a disturbingly sweet tone.
"Er-uh, It wasn't Applejack, it was someone else!" The blonde said in a panicked tone.
"That's no excuse! I taught you better than that Naruto!" Kushina shouted, gripping her son by his shirt.
"Ahem," Granny Smith cleared her throat.
"Um, Kushina? I know that you knew my folks, but why do you want to help me?" Applebloom asked, drawing the elder redhead's attention to her.
"Because Applebloom, I did terrible things when I was younger. But I was given a second chance. Your mother helped give me that chance," Kushina explained. "And I want to give you a second chance, like I got."
"This is gonna be troublesome," Shikamaru groaned.
"Don't be a wet blanket pineapple," The beanie-wearing redhead hissed, jabbing him in the ribs with her elbow. "Alright girls, let's make some memories tonight!" Tayuya declared cheerfully, wrapping each of her arms around Sunset and Karin.
"Okay, so what're we doing first?" Tenten asked.
"I got tickets to a concert," Tayuya replied holding out several tickets.
"Okay, so who's playing?" Karin asked.
"Blazing Roses."
"Oh my gosh, I forgot that they were playing here!"
"That name sounds familiar, I think I've heard a few of their songs on the radio," Sunset said.
"It wasn't easy getting those at the last minute," Shikamaru said.
"Thank you, Shikamaru I do appreciate this "Sunset said.
"You should be more like her, ya know? At least she thanks people," Shikamaru said, looking in Tayuya's direction. To which she just rolled her eyes in response.
"Anyway, I figured the best way to start things off before the concert would be to get a parfait here."
"Can I take your order?" came a familiar voice.
"Adagio?" Tayuya asked.
"I didn't know you worked here," Tenten said.
"Sakura got me a job here," Adagio answered.
'So that's why she couldn't go with us,' Tayuya thought.
"This Strawberry-peach one looks good. I'll take one of those," Sunset said.
"I'll take a pudding Parfait," Karin said.
"I'll go for the mango and Coconut," Tenten said.
"The mixed berry and waffle one for me," Tayuya said.
"Coffee will do," Shikamaru said.
(At the line for the concert)
"Hello, what do we have here?" Karin asked, looking a bit further up in the line at a blue-haired boy around their age.
"That's Flash, he was once my boyfriend back at Canterlot high," Sunset said, recognizing the blue-haired boy.
"Should we fuck him up?" both Tenten and Tayuya asked in unison, pulling out switchblades.
"What? No! No, there's no need for that," Sunset said. "And where did you even get those?" She then asked.
"Girls got their secrets," Tenten answered casually putting her knife away as did Tayuya.
"So he's single?" Karin asked, eyeing up the blue-haired boy with a sly look on her face.
"As far as I know, yeah," Sunset answered.
"Hold my spot will you?" Karin said
(After the concert)
"That was freaking awesome!" Tenten said in excitement.
"So what's next?"
"Say, any of you girls know where Karin is?" Sunset asked.
"I think she still flirting with that blue-haired guy."
"That's new, when did this place have kart racing?" Tayuya asked, examining the indoor race course.
"They added it last summer I think," Tenten answered before noticing the sparkle of excitement in Sunsets eyes. "So, you wanna race?"
"Can we?" Sunset excitedly.
"Thought you wouldn't ask."
"Why not, I'm game," Tenten said.
(Sometime later)
"You gotta try this!"
"I don't think this is a good idea right now. I have to go to the bathroom," Said Karin worryingly as she was fastened to the zip line swing.
"Don't worry, there's a bathroom on the other side. You'll be fine just go for it," Tayuya encouraged.
"You can do it Karin!" Sunset cheered from the other side.
"Why did stop?" Karin asked in a panicked tone as the momentum stopped, and she now found herself stuck in the middle.
"Ooh dear. That's not good," Tenten said.
"Hang in there, I'm on my way!" Tayuya said.
"Well I don't think I have to go the bathroom anymore," Karin said.
"I got an idea," Tayuya said spotting a guy in sagging pants. "Someone needs these more than you," She said, yanking the loose pants off from the unsuspecting person.
"What are you doing?" Karin asked as she was dragged into the women's restroom.
"Did she just steal that guy's pants?" Sunset asked in shock, while Tenten couldn't help but laugh at the situation.
"Troublesome woman," Shikamaru groaned.
"She may be reformed, but she still has a bit of her old bad girl self. But that's what makes her fun to be around," Tenten said, pausing from her laughter.
"Applejack."
"It's fine Naruto, your words were a wake-up call that the others and I needed, even if it was a harsh one. I just wish it happened sooner," Applejack said.
"I take the reason Sunset isn't here is that she didn't want to see any of us?"
"Actually it's because she's at a concert with my cousin," Naruto answered.
"Well that's nice to hear, and I never wanted to see Sunset hurt."
"Paws off my Narupookie you hussy!" Shouted Sonata, kicking the door open.
'It's one of those Sirens, what is she doing here?' Applejack wondered.
"Sonata?!" Naruto asked, surprised to see his girlfriend here.
"Wait, you know her?" Applejack asked.
"Yeah... she's my girlfriend," Naruto answered sheepishly, scratching the back of his head.
"I know your plan!" Sonata said, pointing at the blonde cowgirl. "You're trying to seduce my Narupookie so that you can get to Sunset, aren't you?!"
"What?" Applejack questioned in confusion.
"Sonata, calm down. There's nothing like that happening," Naruto said, trying to keep things from getting out of hand.
"Not until miss howdy doody there knows that she can't have my man!" Sonata said.
"We were just talking, and nothing more," Applejack said, trying to reason with the former siren.
"About what? You trying to demonize me and my sisters as monsters for what we did? Well, what about you and-" Sonata said before being interrupted.
"Look at what you did with all ya kicking and stomping little missy," Granny Smith scolded, forcing Sonata to look at the broken object. "Then you come in here with the nerve to think my granddaughter is doing something illicit with that boy when they ain't."
"Despite what happened on the zip-line, I've haven't had this much fun in quite a while," Karin said.
"We should do something like this again," Tenten said.
"Next time, do it without dragging me into it," Shikamaru said.
"I guess I should also be going home," Sunset said.
"Don't worry about it Sunset, you can stay at my place for the night," Tayuya said, bringing out her phone. "I'll send auntie a message."
(Tayuya's apartment)
"Home sweet home," Tayuya said after opening the door to a modest and mostly clean apartment, with the exception of a few empty soda and energy drink cans near the couch. There is also a large terrarium tank with an orange striped tan lizard crawling atop a small rock formation to the branched driftwood log.
"You didn't tell me you had a pet," Sunset said, looking at the lizard with a sparkle in her eyes as she walked up to the glass cage for a better look. "This is a Bearded Dragon isn't it?" Sunset asked, recognizing the breed.
"Yup, his name is Tatsu," Tayuya said looking at her pet lizard. "You can hold him, he's pretty easy going."
"You sure do have quite a few flutes, "Sunset noted, looking at the small collection of unique flutes as she gently petted Tatsu. "What's this one?"
"It's a Shakuhachi. It was a gift from auntie, and it's one of my personal favorites, next to the piccolo flute," Tayuya answered.
As she was listening, Sunset noticed a picture hung up on the wall out of the corner of her eye, and it was of Tayuya and Kin. Sunset, as if entranced by both the picture and the music, she slowly walked up to the portrait. The image was of Tayuya and Kin when they were younger with big smiles on their faces, their eyes filled with innocence and joy that only a child could have. Sunset then noticed something, words engraved on the lower part of the frame. Suddenly the music stopped as the redhead walked up beside Sunset.
"'Live life for the both of us.' Those were her last words to me," Tayuya said, tracing her fingers across the words. "It was those words that kept me going up to this point. Alongside Naruto, Auntie, and Kotohime. I wish you could have met her. The three of us would have been a hell of a trio," Tayuya said sadly.
"Kotohime told me about what happened," Sunset said. "That promise you made-,"
"I made that promise on the day we held her funeral," Tayuya answered. "It still haunts me. At times I find myself murmuring her name when I try to get to sleep. At other times, I close my eyes and I find myself back on that day, cradling her in my arms, having to watch the life fade from her eyes and hearing her final words echo in my mind," Tayuya said as she shed tears. "Sorry for laying this on you Sunset-" She said, only to be caught by surprise to see a hand wipe away her tears.
"Friends listen to each other, especially best friends," Sunset said, giving Tayuya a reassuring smile. "You have been listening to me and my problems from the past, and it's only fair that I do the same for you."
"Sunset... thank you," Tayuya said, pulling her into a hug.
"Remember what I said earlier. If she doesn't want to talk with you yet, you'll just have to accept that, alright? Kushina informed the young woman before her.
"Yes ma'am," Applejack answered.
"I know you want to make amends, but I'm not going force my daughter to meet with you. So I am going to need you to wait while I talk to her."
Waking up first, Tayuya glanced over the clock to see what time it was before glancing over at a still sleeping Sunset, and she couldn't help but smile. 'Whelp, I better feed Tatsu. Then after that, I'll make some coffee for Sunset and myself.'
"She really liked you, huh Tatsu?" The redhead said to her pet as she fed him. 'I wonder if she's interested in getting a pet like you? I'll have to ask her when she wakes up,' She pondered as she finished feeding Tatsu.
Heading into the kitchen, the redhead saw something out of the corner of her eye as she was reaching for the coffee. Tayuya spotted a familiar looking car outside. Exiting the vehicle was her Aunt Kushina and a freckled blonde girl with a cowboy hat, causing her eyes to narrow in anger and disgust at the girl beside her aunt.
"Sup Auntie," Tayuya greeted as they entered, "I take it you're here for Sunset?" To which the elder Uzumaki nodded. "She's inside, help yourself to some coffee," The younger redhead said to the elder one, before turning to the freckled blonde beside her. "You, on the other hand, are staying right here. I want a word with you," Tayuya said pointing at Applejack.
"Uncle Minato and Naruto can be pretty forgiving, and Auntie has got a big heart. But I'm not so easily persuaded," Tayuya said, giving the cowgirl an intimidating glare that sent a chill down her spine.
"Do you even know the pain and suffering you put her through while you had your head up your ass with those other morons?" The redhead demandingly asked in anger. " You had the nerve to call her family, and then you just went and threw her away like trash! You're a real piece of shit!"
"I-I just want to apologize to Sunset and-" Applejack said, only to be grabbed by the collar of her shirt.
"Why should I even let you near her?! So you can throw her into the fire again when the next troll on MyStable shows up?" The redhead asked furiously. "Say what you want, but we don't have to listen," said Tayuya, pushing the blonde girl to the ground.
"You don't have to listen to it, she does," Applejack said, her anger boiling as she lifted herself up and glared at the girl before her.
"Like the fuck she does!" The redhead shouted back. "Go back to your pigsty and piss off! She doesn't need you in her life!" Those words sparked a rage inside Applejack as she charged at Tayuya, throwing a right hook at her.
"You wanna tango goldilocks?" Tayuya challenged, blocking the punch.
Sunset began to stir slowly as she sat up, hearing the bedroom door open.
"Morning Sunset." Kushina greeted.
"Mom? What are you doing here?" Sunset asked.
"See, I told you it would come naturally," Kushina with a smile. "Don't worry, you aren't in trouble or anything," Kushina said, offering her daughter a cup of coffee.
"Thanks," she said taking the cup, "Wheres Tayuya?" Sunset asked noticing her absence.
"She's outside talking to someone," Kushina answered. "There is something I would like to talk about with you about too."
"Alright."
"Last night while you were at the concert with the girls, Minato, Naruto and I had a visit with the Apple family."
"What for?" Sunset asked, curious as to what reason they would have to visit them.
"Well you see, I was a good friend with Applejack's mother, Pear Butter back when she was still alive. And Minato was a close friend of her father, Bright Mac."
"Please hold still. If you move around too much, you'll end up bleeding out," A gentle voice said.
"Who are you? At least tell me your name."
"My name is Pear Butter."
"You're awake, thank goodness."
"I have you to thank for that. It's the reason I'm here with you watching the sunrise," Kushina commented, glancing at her bandaged wounds.
"I would never force you to do something you don't want to do Sunset. If you aren't ready to speak with her, I'll just tell her so, and that will be it," Kushina said as Sunset pondered if she felt ready or comfortable talking with one of the former friends when she realizes something.
"Wait you left Applejack alone with Tayuya?" Sunset asked her
"Oh crap, we should intervene before things get out of hand," Kushina said also realizing her mistake. While the younger redhead had mellowed in recent years, she still had a lot of attitude.
(Line Break)
"That was a cheap-ass move using those ropes!" The now tied up redhead shouted, squirming to get free from her bindings.
"I'm not here to pick fights," Applejack said, nursing her now black and blue left eye. "I only want to talk to Sunset."
"Says the one who threw the first punch," Tayuya replied. "I bet she's really gonna wanna talk to ya now, seeing me tied up like a hostage," she sarcastically added. "This is exactly what I didn't want happening, and it's happening anyway dammit!" She cursed.
"What is?" The cowgirl asked.
"I was trying to keep her away from you, so she wouldn't have to deal with the pain. Do you really think she wants to see trash like you, the ones who ditched her without a second thought, alongside that little hobgoblin you call a sister that destroyed her life and nearly got her killed?" The redhead asked. "She doesn't need to be weighed down by the shadows of her past."
"I'm not trying to hurt Sunset, I want to make amends, and I like to be her friend again."
"Are you really that naive? You can say you're sorry 'till your throat is sore. It isn't gonna change anything!" Tayuya shouted, struggling even harder against the ropes. "The person you threw away like trash became a person I treasure!" She said, getting one of her arms free. Applejack couldn't help but flinch at the sight of the rope burn and blood on the redhead's liberated arm. She knows firsthand how painful that can be, and the girl before wasn't showing any sign of the pain. The redhead's eyes were glaring at her in a feral rage.
"And when It comes to the people I treasure, I'll lay my life on the line and fight tooth and nail if I have to! Because I will not let you, or anyone else hurt my family! " She declared as she got her other arm free. She then started to remove the rope around her legs and stood up.
"Please, I don't want to fight you." Applejack pleaded, stepping away from the enraged redhead that was quickly closing in on her. "Listen to me would ya?"
"How many times did Sunset plead to be listened to?" Tayuya asked, pinning Applejack to the wall. "Do you feel scared?" The redhead asked, her voice dripping with venomous fury as she stared into the cowgirl's frightened green eyes with pure rage.
"That feeling you're experiencing right now is a fraction of the fear Sunset felt when those fucking scumbags you call classmates pummeled her unconscious. Then took her to some abandoned building just so they torture her more to the brink of death! Do you think she wants to listen to someone who's forsaken her to such a fate?!" She shouted, pushing her harder into the wall.
"I think that's enough," said Kushina as she and Sunset walked towards the two. The younger redhead froze like a deer in the headlights as did the blonde cowgirl. As they both turned their heads to look at her.
"Tayuya, let her go please," The elder redhead said in a gentle yet stern tone, to which the younger let out a deep breath and released Applejack, taking a few steps back away from her. "You should go treat those cuts," Kushina said, noticing her bruised and bloody wrists.
"I'm staying Auntie," Tayuya said, looking at the rope burn on her arms as she grits her teeth in slight pain as the adrenaline from her rage faded, and the burning, stinging pain kicked in. "Whatever she has to say to Sunset, she can say in front of me."
"Tayuya, I understand that you were just looking out for her, but Applejack just wants to be friends with Sunset again and make things right. Just like how Kin wanted to be friends with you again," Kushina explained.
"That's a low blow auntie," said Tayuya. She hated to admit it, but she was right. There was a similarity between the previous situation and this one.
"But I'm right, aren't I?" Kushina asked, to which the younger redhead nodded reluctantly and let out a sigh. "Now come on, let me take care of those cuts before you get an infection."
"It's okay Tayuya. I can handle this," Sunset said assuring her. She nodded her head and exited the room with her aunt, leaving Sunset and Applejack alone.
"S-Sunset," Applejack said, finally seeing her former friend after so long. Applejack couldn't help but feel relieved seeing her friend was okay. The blonde girl embraced herself, slightly afraid that Sunset might lash out at her as Tayuya did.
"Hey AJ... it's been a while," Sunset greeted.
"Look, I know saying sorry won't be enough," Applejack said as she took her Stenson off her head and placed across her chest. "I'm nothing but a rotten apple for the way I treated and abandoned you instead of hearing you out. I betrayed your trust, as well as Twilight's," She said, beginning to shed a few tears. "I don't know how I can make amends, but I want you to know that I truly am deeply sorry."
Sunset was taken back, she had never seen the cowgirl tear up once before for as long as she had known her. Applejack had never shed tears or cried in front of her. "I think you've taken the first step towards making things right," said Sunset. "But just so you know, I'm staying at Hidden Leaf Academy, and you have to respect that." To which the blonde nodded in understanding as she wiped the tears from her eyes.
"I don't honestly think things can truly go back to being as they used to be between the other girls and me, Applejack. This just isn't something that can easily be forgiven and forgotten about. The things you said, they left a scar on my heart. You and the others abandoned me so easily, and don't forget to look back on the fact that Rainbow Dash helped to orchestrate the attack that almost got me killed."
Although Kushina did tell me about how your mother and she were close friends. A part of me would like to have what they had, but I just don't we will ever be that close. maybe one day we could be friends again, but won't be for a long while."
"Holy fuck that strings!" Tayuya screamed as the disinfectant was applied.
"I told you to brace yourself," Kushina said as she continued to clean her wounds. "You know I wasn't going to force her to go if she didn't want to go."
"So why did you bring her?" Tayuya asked.
"She just wanted a chance to apologize, and I felt like giving her that chance," Kushina answered.
"I'm guessing you two are angry at me for what I've done."
"While neither I or Sunset are mad about the concert, I still think you should apologize to Applejack," Kushina replied, bandaging up the younger redheads wrist.
"Hey! She threw the first punch. I ain't apologizing for what she brought on to herself."
'You are as stubborn as I used to be,' Kushina thought letting out a sigh. "Okay Tayuya, listen to me. Applejack was upset with her, but she didn't want Sunset to be harmed. The whole of CHS was fooled by this Anon-A miss incident,"
"That doesn't excuse them for-"
"You were given a second chance too you know," Kushina interrupted. "As was myself and Sunset, a chance to redeem ourselves to prove that our past was not today and that our past mistakes did not define who we are. So why can't she also be given a chance like us?" She asked.
The younger redhead paused and reflected upon her past. And despite all of the wrong's she had done, the majority of the students of Hidden Leaf Academy had forgiven her. "Why do they mean so much to you?" Tayuya asked, wondering why her Aunt was this persistent about this.
"I made a promise to their mother that I would look out for her family and help them when I can. Also because I owe her for saving my life," Kushina answered, causing the younger redhead eyes to widen in shock at this.
"What?! Really?" Tayuya asked in shock at this revelation, as Kushina told what she told Sunset. Then when the door opened up, Sunset entered the room with a calm look on her face.
"So how's your wrist?" Sunset asked, to which the redhead glanced at her bandaged wrist and flexed her hand.
"I'll manage, what about you?" Tayuya replied.
"I'm alright Tayuya. It was a bit easier than I thought it was going to be, but that's probably because it was only one of them."
Tayuya smiled slightly, before seeing the cowgirl behind Sunset. "Applejack," The redhead called out.
"Um.. yeah?" the blonde cowgirl responded.
"I'll go ahead and give you a chance, But only one. And this only applies to you, and not to any of those other assholes you call friends, got it? If you do anything to betray my Aunt's trust and hurt Sunset again, I will hunt you down, and I will fucking annihilate you. Do I make myself clear?" Tayuya warned.
Applejack chuckled weakly and nodded her head. 'I probably had this coming,' She thought to herself.
Kushina smiled at their interaction, before speaking to both Tayuya and Applejack. "I think it's time for you two to heal up. Come on Jackie, I'll take you home."
Youth Detention Center
"Mr. Asura?" Scootaloo asked as she saw him walk towards her before sitting down next to her.
"Hello there Scoots," The brown haired man replied, with a soft, warm smile on his face. "I'm starting up a group to help out troubled teens, and I would like you to be a part of it."
Scootaloo widened her eyes slightly and was about to respond before she was interrupted by a black-haired man who was walking towards them and spoke.
"There you are brother," Said a familiar voice. Asura turned to spot the familiar face of his older brother.
"Indra? What are you doing here?" Asura asked.
"Mr. Asura, who is that?" Scootaloo asked, looking at the man in front of them.
"That would be my brother," Asura answered. "It must be something important if he wants to talk to me in person. Do you mind waiting here for a moment?"
"Um, okay," Scootaloo said, watching as Asura stood up and walked away with his older brother.
"Surely you sensed it a few nights ago as I did. There's someone out there like us."
"That night, that power, it did feel familiar," Asura thought, his mind drifting to that night when he sensed something similar.
"From that look on your face, you know something," Indra said.
"I do, but I'd rather not jump the gun on this. I want to be sure on this before we do anything that might be drastic."
CHS
"Applejack!" Rarity gasped. "What happened to your eye darling?"
"I met one of Sunset's new friends, and it's safe to say that she wasn't too fond of me," The cowgirl answered, putting her hand over her bruised eye.
"Wait, does that mean you saw Sunset too?" Pinkie Pie asked.
"How is she?" Fluttershy asked as well.
"She doing fine from what I've seen."
"Does that mean that we can go over and apologize?" Pinkie asked hopefully about the answer.
"No Pinkie, Sunset's new friends are quite protective of her if that Tayuya was anything to go by. I wouldn't recommend any of you try going over there," Applejack answered.
"Wait, that name sounds familiar," Rarity pondered for a bit before it clicked. "She was one of those delinquents that caused that skirt incident at the last Friendship Games!"
"We're not really ones that should judge others Rarity," Fluttershy said. "Us or the school."
"Turns out she and Sunset are kindred spirits from what Kushina told me. They understand each other, having gone through similar hardships."
"Wait, you mean the famous kickboxer Kushina? That blonde boy's mother?"
"Yeah, turns out she adopted her." Applejack answered, the news of this surprising the three other girls, and rendering them speechless.

"You had a girls night out and you didn't invite me?! I thought we were friends Tayu!" Sonata cried with tears comically falling down her face.
"We are!" Tayuya sighs and shakes her head a bit before returning her gaze to Sonata. "Look, if I treat you to some Suprimus Crunch Tacos from Tacomus Prime, can we put this behind us?" Tayuya asked.
After hearing that, Sonata cheered up instantly and smiled brightly. "Sure! But I want eight of them," Sonata said.
"E-eight?!" Tayuya asked in shock. "Those things are huge!" The redhead exclaimed. 'Not to mention pricey,' she mentally added.
"And I want a large bag of Fresh Churros, and an extra large Cuba Lima drink too!" Sonata added.
