This story is a sequel to Swords, Sorcery and Shenanigans

When I was only a little girl, my father told me a story about a pair of brothers that fought alongside their friends to protect another world like ours. One was known as The Rune Slayer and the other was known as The Infinity Sword. During a long and excruciating battle against a monster called "The Diabolic Esper", The Rune Slayer sacrificed himself to protect his brother and give him a fighting chance.

Of course, I was only four years old when I was told this. But the story remained locked in my brain as I got older. Those two brothers were my childhood heroes and inspired me to imagine and believe.

My name is Faith Nocte and I'm twelve years old. One night, at the end of November, I wished for a way to find something that could help make my father happy again just in time for christmas. But, as it turns out, what I'm looking for is in a world I once thought was fictional. While I'm there, I discover something that I never knew about my family. Many things I never knew about my family.

Back where I'm from, I was forced to go with my classmates to a museum filled with costumes and clothes. It wasn't quite my cup of tea until I met a woman who told me that she could tailor something for me for a small fee. So, I asked for a scarf that resembled the burning flame of a phoenix. After receiving it though, things began to go south (Mostly because of my emotions back then). My life was already a living hell and ending up in another world was the last thing I would've expected.

But as I would find out, my life experiences and the things I've learned in the course of my long life have forged me into the being that I am. The tortured phoenix with a burning heart and spirit.

I am Ember Valkyr. The flame that will be the last thing you'll see.

Seath the Scaleless, White Dragon God of Verdite, Traitor to the Everlasting Dragons, Duke of Anor Londo, Grandfather of Sorcery, and now the new friend and mentor to Twilight Sparkle? What will happen when two like-minded souls from opposite ends of the morality spectrum match wits? And what will remain in their wake?

A somewhat more meta twist on a MLP/Dark Souls cross-over, inspired predominantly by a few pictures I found of Seath and Twilight together, and my bewildered discovery that for all of the stories on this site that cover these two franchises, there's only one that focuses on Seath the Scaleless and so far it hasn't seen any updates in over a year ( http://www.fimfiction.net/story/68621/scales for those curious).

For those who haven't played either the King's Field or Dark Souls games worry not. I'll do my best to either explain the lore of both in the story itself, or add an author's notes for anything that gets referenced.

After a portal experiment goes terribly wrong, Twilight finds herself on a strange world full of bipedal, magical creatures. She has no idea how to get back home. Maybe her new friends, a young Tauren and an Undead, can help her. They know of a magical city in the sky which might hold the answer to her problem. But can she really trust anybody in a world where true friendship is a rarity?

Knowledge of the Warcraft universe is not necessary to understand this story - but it might make reading it more fun.

When a guy with a British accent walks into your backyard and wants to talk about ponies just walk away and lock the door behind you. Among all things to remember is if someone asks if you want to go to Equestria choose your words very carefully more than likely you won't get exactly what you asked for.

This is a part of the story universe called "Chess Game of the Gods", which took its' start in "The Ballad of Echo the Diamond Dog" which was continued upon by Blackwing in his story "Griffin the Griffin", and now the whole planet is a playing board for some easily amused deities.

Josh and Sam had been friends since school, they had stuck with each other through thick and thin and are now close room mates, always joking with each other yet being there when it really counts. However, when they enter the world of Equestria, they have to start off in a world they know nothing about, doing whatever they can to earn the money to repay the ones that help them while trying to live a peaceful life. One can only hope that their lives are peaceful.

(Hi guys, sorry about the description, I didn't really know how to describe the story. I really want to just say that they go through various crazy antics. If you like the genres then please give it a try before passing by it, I understand I haven't written the description well. It was just a simple walk home for one Indigo Zap, from a really bad action flick. That is, till she nearly got killed Christine style by a rogue Lamborghini Diablo with one really wild driver. A little research from a certain former Crystal Prep student and her illusionist girlfriend, and the Shadowbolts find themselves and their whole lives transforming and changing in ways they couldn't possibly imagine as they find themselves dealing with intergalactic robot criminals and the team sent to hunt them down and bring them to justice.
