A deity, even one who refuses to identify as such, is going to attract followers. And those followers will show their devotion to said deity in a number of ways, whether she wants them to or not.

It's not that Sunset wants to stop people from expressing themselves. She just wishes that expression didn't involve parts of her she'd rather keep out of public view.

A week after Sunset's Trial ends and the day after the Battle of the Bands (Rainbow Rocks) Sunset now has new trials to face. Now she has friends she can count on both here and in Equestria. Or does she? Also new threats are on the horizon and old ones will come back to haunt her.

Fresh off her graduation, Sunset Shimmer wanted nothing more than a break from the troubles and anxiety that plague her mind. And of course, through the Mirror lies the land she once called home, a retreat away from, well, everything.

Unfortunately, in a quiet little flower shop down a Canterlot street, who else should she meet, but a face from her past. One who'd rather not be forgotten, twice over.

While traveling through the magic mirror between worlds, Sunset Shimmer touched upon the realm of Chaos, her course diverted. Rescued by unknown forces, Sunset awoke on a world besieged by daemonic incursions. While running from a daemon, Sunset comes across a dying member of the Order of the Cerulean Chalice, an Ordo Minorus of the Adepta Sororitas. Entrusted with a holy relic, Sunset is given the choice of taking it to the other members of the order, or dying on the doomed planet.

Suspicions surround Sunset on reaching the order, many questioning her nature and whether or not she was sent by their God-Emperor. Some loath her, seeing her as a xenos at worst, or a tainted mutant experiment of the planet's deceased lord at best. Others believe her sent by a Saint, or claim she is merely some form of abhuman. But none of them fully trust Sunset.

To prove herself, Sunset is placed among the scholla within the convent, all while coping with the loss of her magic, and in a new body. There she'll make friends and rivals, and either prove her worth to the Emperor, or die.

Burn the Heretic. Kill the Mutant. Purge the Unclean.

What do you get for the mare who has everything? What do you get for the mare who has everything, and has been out of your life for over one-thousand years? What do you get for such a mare, your sister, when on top of all that, you've all the social grace and cultural awareness as a cuttlefish?

Luna figures it might pay to just ask Sunset for advice this year.
