After his reformation, Discord had finally warmed up to the idea of having friends, but friendship without trust and mutual understanding means nothing. His latest attempt to gain Twilight’s ends in a magical catastrophe. Injured and left without his god-like powers, Discord has to work with the obstinate alicorn to find a solution.

It soon becomes apparent that a misguided spell isn’t the only wedge driving the pair apart. When those wedges are removed, it’s up to Discord and Twilight to repair the damage. They never imagined it would go further than that . . .

Hearth’s Warming has finally arrived!
The two long-lived best friends, Twilight and Spike, must now achieve the task of announcing to literally EVERYPONY they know that they are now a couple. However, because the two have enjoyed each other’s company so much, they’ve spent very little time preparing for this fateful night since their own fateful night a few days prior.

So, how will everypony react? How will Twilight and Spike react to their reactions?

This is an alternate take on Irrespective's "This Nose Knows". Celestia, after discovering that the Bean the search squads had found was a changeling, goes to the Flame of Destruction herself to strike a deal for his safe return. Problem is, Daybreaker needs some persuading.

When a United States Army Ranger arrives in Equestria, the land is plauged by chaos, even the Royal guards cannot fight them off. Befriended by the mane six, the soldier is hired to help guard and fight for Equestria...

I remember noticing some grammar errors when reading this first time, unfortunately I'm too lazy to correct. If you guys'll comment on them, I'll fix 'em.

Soldier is found once again by Merasmus, and the magician isn't happy with his defeat back in 2012
so now hes returned. but since soldier can't be killed without him coming back stronger, Merasmus finds a world that would destroy Soldier in the most horrific way possible. (let me say this right now, there will be no shipping or real clop, this is mainly a comedy as soldier uses all the mann.co tech he has to survive the heat and get back home)(again this is an idea that just wouldn't leave me alone)(teen for strong language and very suggestive jokes)WARNING many joke made towards canada that are just jokes, if you can't take a joke don't read. WARNING#2 spoiler for comic "ring of fired" so if you havent read that, don't read this. unless you don't care.

Edit: 03/26/14, to celebrate the 500th veiw i will call a "Massive Edit" i will put this fic through google docs and edit the spelling then profusely edit any grammer i catch and other things that just don't make sense, i'll also throw a new joke in here and there but not much, i'll just edit the more crappy parts of the fic. Soldier has spend days working on a machine that will transport him to Canada (Equestria) once again! but when he shows the rest of his team the machine, somthing goes horribly wrong!

now equestria (with the aid of Scout) will have to defend itself against this new, freakish, threat.

Let me burst your bubble off the bat, the team is transported to regular equestria in their (almost) human forms, i will explain why but for now thats just how it is. Teen for suggestive jokes same as before no shipping or clop just good unaltered randomness, god i wish i knew where i put those brakes.

Oh well.....

Twilight Sparkle has been working herself into such a state of fatigue that Celestia has ordered her to take a five month vacation from her studies and has given Spike the assignment to ensure that Twilight relaxes. A lot can happen in five months.
This story, though labeled as number five, was actually the first MLP story I wrote. I greatly enjoyed writing it and I hope you enjoy it too.

Spike has made it to 17, a time when a colt becomes a stallion, at least for ponies. The same goes for our Dragon as he realizes what being a man truly means. After an altercation during his Birthday, spike will face his fate and possibly his doom at the hooves of a dark, and demented tyrant. It will be up to him to protect Twilight, to be her Guardian in the upcoming war against the shadows....

On a calm and snowy night, just a few days before Hearth's Warming, Spike decides to check up on Twilight to see if she's doing okay.

Twilight has been through much hardship recently, but thankfully, over the past year she's gotten much better since. However, with fears still lingering in Spike's mind, he wants to be absolutely certain that Twilight's improved well-being stays that way.

And he'll do it by doing what he does best at. By being right by her side. There for her. Always.
