Dicklight Sparkle idea aside, this is my theory on the matter. Due to her tutelage under Princess Celestia, Twilight has developed a strong sense of affection for teacher/educator types, such as Miss Cheerilee, and she fancies some hot student/teacher roleplay. But revealing such facts may lead Cheerilee to question if Twilight loves her because of who she is, or because of what she is.
