  If you can, survivors of Helene need HELP

  I'm not usually serious on here, but my unit has had me on state orders all week and I've had plenty of eyewitness opportunities to see what's going on up here. Tennessee, North Georgia, the Carolinas- everything in the mountains and Upstate area has been absolutely hammered. Some areas that weren't even washed away are likely not to have power and water for potentially weeks.

  Is there any story of mine you go back and re-read?

  Title more or less says it. I know it's more or less a pointless question, but it would help me look back and figure out what I did well there that I didn't elsewhere. Is there any particular story I've written that you look back at? If so, what for? I'd be glad to know.

  Spooky Season is nigh...

  Well, after a great summer of fucking off and wearing myself down to the nub -and completely wiffing on Mother's Day- I find myself coming to the Halloween season.

  And what does that entail? Taking suggestions for a themed story a little earlier this year. Why?

  1. Have one such story already planned, so I want a head start.

  2. I have been slower lately in production. So an earlier start is probably best.
