I'm honestly curious what would have happened had she encountered that fear-inducing door. What could this Twilight's fears possibly be? Being bored from being too OP? Is she like One-Punch Man?

Pretty sure she would have just blasted the door with her magics. ^.^

I happened to think about this series yesterday and wondered if you were planning on doing the third season. It looks like you read my mind. :twilightsheepish:

As with the two before it, I'll track this story.

It begins... Again! ...again.

Time to see just how easy all this stuff will be!
Couldn't be any harder than last time!

More than that, I predicted the future, because I finished writing this a few days ago!

Well, that could be fun, too.
But when I watch this episode, their reasoning for not telling on Babs is so flimsy, I just couldn't resist rewriting it in that way.

It just gets easier and easier.

Rarity has taught her sister well. Though it does seem like there's going to be some bad blood between Apple Bloom and Babs come the reunion...

Of course, given how perfectly organized it'll be, I'm sure they'll be having so much fun that they'll let bygones be bygones.

YAY! Overpowered Season 3 begins. :pinkiehappy:

Don't you know it! ^.^

One blast at King Sombra and there, problem solved.

I hope it lives up to expectations set by the ones before.

Some of these were really hard to subvert.

I can just picture all those Pinkies merging into one, would be a little creepy but cool. :pinkiecrazy:

Now THIS is how it should've went in the original. :scootangel:

The CMC's repair their float and Babs faces the punishment she should've got.

Next one is Magic Duel, that's gonna be interesting.

If there was a different type of series, the effect would have been a regular Pinkie -- the original -- and a giant clone that ends up destroying large portions of the town in the fun equivalent of a rampage. Just imagine the damage a thirty foot Pinkie could do while ponking around shouting "fun, fun, fun."

Well there goes a badass villain.

And it.

Hilarioooouuus! :rainbowlaugh:

Well, that was fun.
The overpowered side of Twilight was a little overdone...but the rest of it's been fun.

Well at least there was no murder this time.

And that, ladies and gents, is how you avoid two of the worst morals the show has ever put out.

Heh, yay!

Ooh, that would be fun. Heh, fun!

Overpowered being overdone? Impossible!

Hoe did Twilight read all about a civilization when the only books about it were in it when it disappeared?

Ok, so I am curious as to if EQG will be its own thing, or its going to be part of the story.

Then again...

"I have the crown!"

"No you don't!" BAM!!

Guess who is back.

It is a good idea to stay away from Sombra. He is worse than Bill Cosby.

Chapter two: S03E02 The Crystal Empire Part 2:

Twilight restored her sister in law to perfect health with a simple zap of magic.

This should be hyphenated.

And with that, the Equestrian Games Episode is made pointless.

Unfortunately, the Pinkie that was left over was the wrong one.

Yeah... I have no idea where I'd put those in with the different seasons.
They'd be way too short to post as a standalone story.

Makes no difference, though.

If they're indistinguishable, why does it matter which one you save?

The moral of the story is it is better to be a snitch than to commit horse murder.

Riight... I forgot to factor in character development into the easy equation! Silly me!

There ya go, Sweetie Belle! When you need help, just ask an adult and they'll solve the problem for you! :raritywink:

This could have been solved earlier:

Pinkie Pie: "Timing myself galloping back and forth between the swimming hole and Sweet Apple Acres. I'm trying to cut down my time so if Rainbow Dash dives off the swing, I can get to Sweet Apple Acres to help with the barn raising, and then be back in time to see Rainbow Dash hit the water after doing a double flip! If I can cut my time by only twenty minutes, I'm good."

Twilight Sparkle: "Don’t worry. I’ll just cast a time travel spell on you. That way you could be at both places at once."

Y'know, ocalhoun, I've seen some pretty great stuff from you, but this series is probably your Magnus Opium... or however it's spelled.

I have a feeling Babs is about to become familiar with the phrase taken to the woodshed.
That's how that episode should have ended anyway.

Ah, the old "blast with rainbows that will brainwash them and forcefully turn them good against their will" technique. Classic.

Twilight laughed. "Sure thing." Without warning, she called upon the elements of harmony, sending a thick beam of rainbows.

Trixie tried to block it with a shield, yelling "That's no fair! You can't use outside help!" Her shield, though, was pathetic compared to the elements, which burned through it instantly.

Trixie tried to block it with a shield, yelling "That's no fair! You can't use outside help!"

That's no fair!

This Twilight in a nutshell, my dear! :rainbowlaugh:

Trixie used a magical piece of jewelry, so Twilight did the same thing. Seems completely fair to me. :scootangel:

Oh. Well, this one works out perfectly. Power of friendship, same as before. The only thing lost is the irony of out-tricking Trixie, but that's an acceptable loss, especially since it removes the whole tyrannical regime from the equation.

Elements of Harmony vs. Trixie (with an Alicorn Amulet)

(After battle)

Elements of Harmony wins! Flawless victory!

Yep, that's how I would've seen it as well and Twilight reigns supreme.

Ah, this story. Still as ridiculous as ever, I see, and still worth a few chuckles :derpytongue2:

She stumbled once, but quickly recovered an continued running away.

Purple Twilight is just lucky that Yellow Twilight was not there to help Blue Twilight.

Twilight Sparkle wins. Flawless Victory. Friendship! Friendship!? Again?

It matters if they owe you something.

Like a house or a car.

or a soul

I thought Sombra was only able to be defeated by alicorns or the heart.

There, I am now completely caught up with this.
I find this to be highly amusing, love your take on twilight in this.
Course a lot of this should have happened in show.

You're still posting these?
You are a saint, I tell you, a saint.
KBO indeed.

Overpowered in every way. ^.^

Well, they are still kids!

Ha! Now I wish I'd thought of that.

your Magnus Opium

Oh IPU, I hope not.
This story is really just junk I toss out when I'm bored and don't know what to write!

Yay for justice, Apple style.

Why mess with success?

Yeah, fairness is not a big thing in this story, sorry.

Heh, that's a good way to think of it!

It's definitely one of my favorites.

No challenge at all. ^.^

Was there ever any doubt?

If it can give a few chuckles, that's good enough for me!

Oops, fixed.

Same thing. ^.^

Hm... true.

Maybe they should have tried the elements of harmony. They are 'the strongest magic known to pony-kind', after all.

Yeah, it's fun finding the show's plot holes.

6335933 Or Shining Armor, or Spike, or bright lights. Altogether, not a very impressive villain. This episode didn't really need a Friendship-is-Overpowered version, since that's basically what already happened

The hardest part was the first half... how to make them overpowered, and yet leave Sombra alive so there can be a second part?
