If there was a different type of series, the effect would have been a regular Pinkie -- the original -- and a giant clone that ends up destroying large portions of the town in the fun equivalent of a rampage. Just imagine the damage a thirty foot Pinkie could do while ponking around shouting "fun, fun, fun."

Trixie used a magical piece of jewelry, so Twilight did the same thing. Seems completely fair to me.
Oh. Well, this one works out perfectly. Power of friendship, same as before. The only thing lost is the irony of out-tricking Trixie, but that's an acceptable loss, especially since it removes the whole tyrannical regime from the equation.
