Eons ago, in the trades of Nekravol, the great Khan Maykr sold away large stocks of worlds and planets that were once under their jurisdiction to the Dark Lord of Hell. Amongst these worlds being the peaceful land of Equestria. The Dark Lord saw the powerful magic that inhabited this equine ruled land and decided that rather to invade immediately, it would be wiser to save it in an emergency where he was no longer in power.

Equestria, a land where almost nopony experiences grievances, pain or agony. Literal sunshine and rainbows. However with new revelations about this world, it's inhabitants may experience a drastic shift in their hopeful home.

Ever since a weird red substance was discovered by Applebloom, peculiar things have been occuring around Ponyville. Frightful creatures, odd diseases and strange events. All much more frequent than usual. Could this amount to something much more substantial for our equine friends?

(Supposed to happen between the end of Season 6 and the start of Season 7 and after the end of The Ancient Gods 2, the last DLC of DOOM Eternal. If you are here for the action, Cordial Affairs and all the Mission chapters might be what you are looking for.)

A stallion, a head taller than the Big Mac, arrives in Ponyville. He is quiet, shy, and he is deformed. He has nothing. No name, no past. The only thing he has is a ragged cloak, a matted coat, and scars.

Apparently for the ponies of Ponyville, that's all it takes to be called a monster.

You've all heard the "I died and was Displaced to Equestria" prompt. Rather than Equestria, I wound up in a Void, waiting to be shaped into a world, and with the power to do just that. After a brief conversation with someone who may or may not exist (still not sure if I was talking to myself) I decided to create Equestria, just to see what would happen. It's not turning out quite as I'd pictured, but I'm enjoying the ride.

Affection therapy: a new and innovative practice in Equestria wherein the patient/subject is calmed and relaxed through simple displays of platonic affection, such as ear scratches, nose boops, and belly rubs. It's surprisingly effective, and leaves the pony happy and content. The strangest thing, however, is that you, a simple human living in Ponyville, 'invented' this practice completely by accident.

*I wrote this a long time ago, before Every Little Thing She Does aired. The first chapter takes place between No Second Prances and that episode, and I decided to touch it up and release it now as an early Christmas gift to you guys, as a simple piece of cute, platonic fluff. Tempest Shadow had heard the rumors. Stories, told in frightened whispers by traders and wanderers, in the taverns and around campfires. The stories told of an almighty champion, a monstrous creature from far beyond the stars, that had come to defend Equestria from its enemies. The stories told it had slain dragons by the hundreds, broke the savage beasts of the Everfree like twigs beneath its boots, and torn down titans and monsters alike with its wrath. They said it wielded weapons that could turn mountains into gravel, and seas into desert. That it was clad in armor, that neither the sharpest blades, nor the mightiest magics, could pierce. The rumors said it was unstoppable, relentless, beyond the power of mare or beast to oppose, that it was. . . a god. Tempest had laughed at the rumors and stories, as she flew toward Equestria at the head of an armada, intent on the conquest of her weakling former homeland. Never once did she give the obviously absurd campfire tales even the slightest credence.

You know, I'm more than positive I've already written this before, but I can't for the life of me find that original transcript of what I had been writing. Probably got stolen or something. Shame. Then again, I might have just burnt it to kink shame Twilight and her book fetish.

Knowing me, that's probably exactly what I did.
