Interesting, so far. A bit rushed, but nice. However, I found some grammatical mistakes you could improve.
Pretty good for your first story. You seem to have a decent grasp on character writing, Arthur still invokes that no-nonsense attitude with a hint of sarcasm as he does in the game. Writing characters is always one of the hardest parts of writing, especially when taking on an established character, it's not perfect, but it's not bad for what it is.
The only real glaring issue is the spelling, you seem to jump between past and present tense, which makes some parts a bit hard to read. But all around it's a solid piece. Keep it up!

Story's been alright so far to short in my opinion but eh. I just want to point out that you never say Arthur's last name but the sheriff suddenly calls him Mr Morgan? Not just once but the intire last part of the chapter you may want to fix that slip up mate
