I wish that were true. But pain, friends, and a strange drink are telling me this is all too real. I'm a pony now and I think the world is falling apart.

When Scootaloo moves to Ponyville, she meets a certain cyan pegasus who becomes her idol. Things go well until a pivotal event causes her hopes and dreams to come crashing down around her. Broken and betrayed, Scootaloo must learn to accept her reality and embrace her inner strength with the help of her father and two best friends.

After a brief spat with Spike over a seemingly trivial matter Twilight decides that in order to learn more about dragons she should try to become one. With a simple spell she transforms her little pony self into a larger dragon and quickly realizes that she has no way to change back available to her....

When Twilight receives one of the original journals of Starswirl the Bearded from Princess Luna, she can't wait to try the spells inside it, but the book's magic turns out to be a bit more than Twilight can handle, as her reckless experimentation leads to her accidentally bringing her reflection to life. At first, Twilight decides she quite likes the idea of having a copy around the library. But seeing herself from an outside perspective makes Twilight realize there are some parts of her personality she doesn't care for, forcing her to confront her issues.

Written in the same format as the show, save that it is longer and addresses somewhat sadder themes. No objectionable content or OC characters, focuses heavily on the mane cast.

Gerald McCormack, a 22 year old college student that is living by himself with his trusty butler, Gordon. When he stumbles upon a strange majestic-like woman in his own obstacle course--with a pair of Double D's I might add--he takes the woman in, and realizes she strongly resembles Princess Celestia! To those unfamiliar with the Conversion Bureau: it is a scenario created by an author named blaze in which Ponies either appear in the human world or have lived beside humans without incident for millennia. One day, in the face of all the damage humanity has done to its world, the ponies offer a solution: undergo conversion to become a pony and allow the world to be inundated with Equestria's influence: thus healing it and bring forth a golden age.

Many different authors have taken many different approaches to this idea, all of them are worth checking out.
