Sans knew he was going to die. He’d held off the little megalomaniac as long as he could, but even the power his father had bestowed upon him had failed him. But, maybe it wouldn’t be so bad. At least he’d see his brother again. However, as it turns out, while Sans thought he was done with life, life was not yet done with Sans. Now a human, Sans not only finds himself a resident of Canterlot City, but a Junior at Canterlot High School, a member of the boys basketball team and of the band. However, Sans’ new lease on life isn’t all slam dunks and knock-knock jokes. There are problems he and his new friends have to deal with, ranging from sea pony sirens, to sorceresses who’ve been consumed by the magic they’d unleashed, even threats from Sans’s home… including the very child who’d slain Sans. Will our heroes make it out of this mess, or will Sans and the Main 7 get dunked on?

Hi! I have adopted this story from Crimson Blade79, and they adopted it from someone else. I'm here to continue it, and hopefully do justice to all those who have worked on it. History is written by the victors and the Equestrians excel at winning. Far to the south of Equestria in the Badlands, the region that separates the Equestrian frontier and the unknown lands of the long forgotten Humans, lies an ancient citadel of knowledge. Generations of magic, both well versed and obscure, holy and ghastly. Its reinforced walls still stand though the tomes and coveted secrets were purged after years of warfare, degradation and abandonment. Despite the armies, bands and packs who tried to finish what the Equestrians started none were able to breach the gates of the Lost Archive. None aside from the few faithful to the old ruler and Lord Hierophant have ever entered. His reign was cut short because of the same people who gave it to him and his followers, though misguided and few in number, would see fit to restoring his former glory even if it's more myth then legend.

Oh...it's you. Back again to destroy me? I thought you'd learned your lesson when you put that idiot in charge and I let you leave. You saw how easily I could have killed you, but instead I showed mercy. A mistake apparently, and one that will be rectified.

But I don't need you anymore. I've found someone so much better. Her abilities have forced me to completely redesign my testing environment several dozen times. No matter how advanced I make the chambers, she solves them one after the other. I've never been more proud.

But My Little Killing Machine is growing bored. Turrets can only provide so much challenge. And my testing robots just can't keep up with her. But you...you cleared every challenge I threw at you, even the impossible ones. Gilda's been begging for a worthy final exam...

It seems you've come just in time. Do try not to die too quickly. She loves the thrill of the hunt. To keep you entertained, I might even share a few excerpts of my little girl's life as you hunt her down...you monster.
