Scootaloo has always had secrets in her family. Secrets that she has diligently kept for quite some time. But all that changes when an unexpected chain of events drags her best friends into the side of her life she's always kept secret from them.

This is a sequel to In Another Pony's Hooves, and placed several months after it, though reading it isn't required to understand what's going on here it does help set the stage.

Who Will Win Scootaloo or Dash

In the warmth of her cloud home, Rainbow Dash is about to turn in for the night when she hears Scootaloo crying outside in the middle of a vicious blizzard. Plucking the freezing filly from the snow, Rainbow hopes to provide some much-needed comfort for the otherwise tough young pegasus, but she uncovers a disturbing reality that she knows she cannot handle alone.

Knowing only one pony that could really help her out, Rainbow enlists Twilight’s help, determined to set things straight for Scootaloo. But what Rainbow doesn’t know is that in her efforts to provide a better life for the filly, her friendship with Twilight will develop into something more.

A story about how sometimes when we hurt others we also hurt ourselves. Because physical pain isn't the only kind there is.
For the life of me I've been trying to figure out how to improve this description but can't.

This is the first fanfiction I ever actually wrote and as such I sort of holds a little place in my heart. When I first wrote and posted this story is was very rough. (A first draft with little to no editing) Though to my surprise it met with a good reception. As such I decided to put more time into this story to truly make it shine as well as I can. Going back and fixing my mistakes, polishing out the rough bits, and some general revisions to help the story flow better. I do hope you enjoy this story and the work I put into it.

As of 12/01/2014 every chapter has been revised and edited to a new and (hopefully improved) version!
Even one scene from the first chapter has been cut out and moved to its own separate chapter.
I hope you enjoy this story as much as I did creating it.

A slice of life story that will follow Scootaloo from orphan to daredevil, from the Cutie Mark Crusaders to Dash teaching her to fly, and beyond!

This story is lightly self-edited and I'm aiming for a pace of a short chapter a day. It keeps me busy while my editors work on my other, more "serious" stories
