Gale Twister was spending the day hanging out with his friends. Imagine his surprise when a quirky bat pony falls out of the sky and offers to be his friend. She seems nice enough so Gale decides to get to know her. What kind of pony is the mysterious Misty Tailwind?

Prince Gwyn, last surviving heir to the throne of Griffonstone, returns to the home he's never known with plans and promises to see the fallen city restored to its former glory. The royal griffon has much on his to-do list; including bridging the gap between Equestria and Griffonstone by seeking the Princesses aid, orchestrating a massive international treaty and... oh yeah, announcing his intent to marry Celestia.

Thorax tells his brother that he gave away the remains of Chrysalis's throne. Pharynx is less than pleased.

Equestria: The shining beacon of peace and harmony in a world torn by war. The citizens are safe and secure within the borders.

However, a darkness is coming. Sunset Shimmer, daughter of Celestia, fears the return of the goddess of the night herself: Nightmare Moon. A mare who wishes nothing more than the destruction of everything good. Sunset will do anything to stop her.....
...Even if that means hanging out with other ponies.

I know you all have seen your fair shair of Alt-universes, starring a different main six. I know this, but I couldn't get the thought of trying my own hand in the concept.

Cozy Glow sighed as she flapped her wings to stay afloat in the air. She frowned at the mess beneath her as two grown adults bicker like foals fighting over a swing set in a park. Again, it was up to her to be rational and patient. If she doesn't make Tirek and Chrysalis get along soon, they would have to face Grogar's wrath and she would like to avoid him as much as she can. She learned all the friendship fundamentals of Friendship in Twilight's school, if she can do it, Cozy Glow can do it better.

Effective communication is important in any friendship.

Unfortunately for Twilight, Tempest Shadow and Pharynx communicate almost exclusively in overwhelming force.

The Griffon Kingdom was once a prosperous and happy country, but in the past century it has fallen into ruin. It now sits as an empty husk of what it once was, leaving the griffons living there to scrounge for whatever they can find to survive. There is no government, no leaders, and for many griffons, no hope.

Princess Celestia has done all she can to try and aid it and the griffons living there, but there is only so much she can do without causing an international incident. Now her hoof has been forced. A changeling queen is building a hive deep inside the kingdom, and once fully established it will be a threat to ponies and griffons alike.

Gilda doesn't care about any of that. She's far more interested in finishing her new bakery. It hasn't been easy, she had to persuade a number of griffons to come together to build it, but she had gotten it done. Now, with the help of her two employees (who she might go as far to even call friends) she's almost ready to open for business.

Unfortunately, Gilda's hard work is about to put her front and center in Celestia's plan to save the Griffon Kingdom. A task which comes with a whole host of problems, as well as a crown.
