The rite of the phoenix is one of the most celebrated moments among the sun-gazers of Solaria. For with the hatching of a new phoenix, comes the ascension of a new phoenix-born: a mortal chosen by the phoenix to be its new life partner and guardian. Only those with both strength and purity of their inner fire can draw the attention of a hatchling phoenix, so only the best of the best can ever hope to be chosen.

To one young orphan girl named Sunset Shimmer, she could only dream of witnessing the ascent of one of Celestia's chosen. As the day approaches, she learns that she will be able to, as she has been selected by the crown as one of the girls to serve at the event.

Little did she know that this would be the seminal event of her life, and change her fate forever.

What would happen if Twilight shared her true feelings with Sunset when they had their late night talk at Pinkie's house?

Twilight had decided to share her deepest fear with Sunset after several failed attempts at the counter spell; she feels very stressed and is afraid of letting everybody down. Twilight's honesty and trust in Sunset has in turn caused her to be open with Twilight as well, revealing several insecurities of her past. These revelations cause Twilight and Sunset to become closer than before. Twilight regains her confidence, and Sunset feels more accepted.

What if the confrontation between Sunset and the Dazzlings in the hallway went a little differently? A "What if" scenario, with Sunset Shimmer puts her darker side to good use.

Sunset Shimmer's week has not been so great. An unknown cyber bully turns everyone, including her friends, against her. Some have even gone so far as to beat and kidnap her. Alone, weak, beaten, and at the mercy of a vengeful student, Sunset loses all hope. That's when she suddenly awakens a hidden power that she had inside of her. She decides to use this to help and protect other people and prove to herself that she is a better person, all while dealing with the hatred from her school. Enter The Phoenix!

This story will take place after Legend of Everfree so I'm predicting that you'll either love it or hate it It's also probably not gonna focus too much on Anon-A-Miss. Maybe if this does good I'll do a sequel and bring down Anon-A-Miss in that one

With a single post, just a handful of pictures from her phone, Anon-A-Miss managed to destroy months of effort to redeem herself. Even her actions at the Battle of the Bands seem to mean nothing in the face of this apparant treachery.

But when the Rainbooms confront Sunset, about her sudden betrayal and cast her out, she gives a response none of them had anticipated.

Princess Luna heard the stories of the lands beyond the mirror. The Oracle of the Setting Sun, traveler of this fabled other world, returned with tales of marvels the likes of which Equestria has never seen. Automatic carriages with the strength of four hundred horses. Metal birds that prowl the skies, swooping in and ambushing their victims with paparazzi photoshoots. Butter substitutes beyond belief.

One legend stood stood above the rest. A forbidden place that holds a power greater than any known to humankind, zealously guarded by a stoic warrior-scholar. Many students have braved her wrath, yet none have returned, banished into a hellish limbo where they remain trapped until long after the final bell tolls.

But Princess Luna is no mere student. She will not fail as have so many others. She will travel to this 'Canterlot High School,' uncover the mysteries that lie within, and claim for herself the infinite power of...

Wallflower only erased the memories of the humans at Canterlot High. She completely overlooked the animals. When Sunset Shimmer shows up at the beach and is shunned by her friends, Spike comes to her aid. With the help of the others who haven't forgotten about Sunset Shimmer, they'll need to get to solve the mystery of the missing memories.

(Totally not inspired by the TV continuation of Disney's "Aladdin". Especially not the episode called "Sandswitch".)

Now that all of the girls have reunited after the events of the Fall Formal, it's time to party! And what better occasion than a costume party for Halloween? Pinkie Pie is hosting the shindig and Rarity offers to make costumes for each of her friends. What costume will each of the girls choose and will Rarity be able to pull off making all of them in time? What about their newest friend, Sunset Shimmer? Will the party be a nightmare night or a chance for old and new friends to share a laugh?

After the Battle of the Bands, a new threat makes itself known in the human world. The problem is, when the creature you need to defeat gains power from the magic of love and friendship, how do you defeat it? The answer seems simple enough: use the power of negative energy.

The only ones who can use the power of negative energy? The Dazzlings.

Flash Sentry believed that housing the sirens would have been enough to help them turn their lives around. It was only after having a talk with Adagio that he realized how wrong he was. The weeks that he let them live in his home can't have been for nothing though. There must be a solution that leaves everybody, including Flash himself, happy.
