On the day of the Friendship Games, the veil between two worlds is pierced. The magic of Equestria seeps through the barrier to permeate the world of humanity. Entities begin to come into existence. Lore and legend are gaining flesh, bone, and blood, yielding things both wondrous and horrible. Magic is powerful, but a limited resource. If the world at large discovers its existence, Equestria will become a target.

Thus, seven friends agree to keep the secret, but some things will not be hidden away.

A thousand years after the passing of Princess Celestia, Luna feels she is nearing the end of her own journey through mortality. Twilight has been hoping against hope to delay this day or banish it entirely, but not even an alicorn princess can stop the march of time.

When you've lived for thousands of years, most everypony considers you immortal. Princess Celestia once thought she was as well, but it seems that the last few millennia have finally caught up with her. As she brings together her young friends, they all must try and come to terms with the unthinkable.

When Wreck-it-Ralph finds a villain character who seems to have gone Turbo, he finds more than a handful in the handful sized sprite.
For one thing, she has no idea what game she comes from.
For another, her code seems completely foreign to the Arcade.

After losing their magic, the Dazzlings are hit hard by shame and sadness. None are more hopeless than Adagio Dazzle, who loses all light in her life and begins to sing a swan song. For sirens, this is suicide.

Sonata Dusk begs for the help of Sunset Shimmer and her friends to stop the song and keep Adagio alive, but they discover that saving a life is more difficult than saving a school, and they may not be able to keep their former enemy from fading away forever.

This story was inspired by the song "Never Too Late" by Three Days Grace.

"Main 6" is tagged but Twilight is not in this story.
Rated Teen for language and mature subject matter.
