Rainbow Dash doesn't need foalsitting, she's a good cop, but she does tend to be reckless when it comes to procedure, so The Chief assigned her a partner to make sure she doesn't blow anything up. He is a robot designed by Twilight Sparkle named Spark.
Rainbow Dash is determined to be awesome, and Spark just wants to do his job.
The financial adviser for Sparkle Industries was murdered, and the pair is sent to investigate. Is this just a deranged serial killer, or is there something more sinister going on?

Warning: Contains some gore and over-the-top action sequences starting on the second chapter, also has really soft social science fiction and pop cultural references.

I have never been a part of S.W.A.T., nor have I done extensive research on it. I have only taken a quick look at some procedures, weaponry, and armor for the purposes of this story. Raindrops has a boring, if not repetitive, life. She wakes up, eats, goes to work, comes back home and sleeps. But one Saturday morning, she looks out of her window and sees filth everywhere around Ponyville.

I've always felt like there were some stories in life that, no matter how uncomfortable or horrific they might be, they absolutely must be passed on, for ponykind will be at a detriment if they aren't. These stories aren't always the coolest stories, the most-feel good stories, or, for that matter, even the most gut wrenching stories, but they are absolutely vital if the newest generation wants to survive.
