Rainbow decides to have a little chat with Scootaloo about her parents. What Rainbow doesn't realize is the consequence of her rushed actions.

An entire month after the events of Equestria girls, Princess Twilight Sparkle has finally relaxed. She believes that she is now ready for anything- that is, until the next part of her Alicorn training kicks in. You see, when somepony becomes an alicorn, life just throws things at them until it believes they're ready. Being sent to an alternate dimension was just the first step- now she must solve a problem from the past, and save the lives of ponies long gone.

But how will she do that when she doesn't know what's going on?

Moving to a new town has its benefits. New friends, new school and new opportunities. But it also comes with its drawbacks as high school student Peter Parker is about to learn. After leaving his hometown of Manehattan Peter is enrolled at Celestia's School for Gifted Minds in the capital city of Canterlot. Peter quickly finds that he fits in more than ever before in this school and things go well. But no city is without its dangers as Peter must quickly don the mask of Spider-Man once more in order to save Canterlot from a threat most ancient. The night is cold, and just as eager to squash this meddling spider at the first chance

"My sis, Applejack, says that their used to be two princess that raised the sun, and the moon. Ah can't remember it anymore, but my sis did tell me something about the Elements of Harmony. It seems like a perfect day for a wedding. With the sun shining its brightest in the sky, birds singing their ballads in the trees and emotions running high, nopony could even begin to argue with that assessment. When Dusk and his friends are called in to help with the preparations, it looks like it could be even better. A time for celebration and for merriment.
Yet all of this is calm before a storm and it will be a great one. Underneath all the cake and the flowers and a gowns, a threat looms over the kingdom. A threat of invasion, which will soon be realised on this happy day. Sparked by greed and hatred, Chrysalis and her hive are coming, their numbers great and their sights set on conquest. First, Canterlot, then all of Equestria.
When they descend, it is the Elements of Harmony who must rise to defend their home. Dusk must take up arms against those who would do them harm. But after the scars that still plague his mind, can he bring himself to hurt another being, even an enemy? Will he be able to take up the banner and stand up to the Changelings or will he succumb to his lingering fears? And why can't he shake the feeling there might be something more to this, that his lurking foes might be orchestrating this?
All that is known is that Equestria will soon darken for a warring Dusk.

After a long day, Rarity and Applejack reflect on what they mean to each other.

Three ponies find themselves drawn to a location listed on no maps.

Mentally abused by his father and verbally by his classmates, David finds the only ray of light in his life in My Little Pony, particularly the cheerful Pinkie Pie. But after long, gruesome days, David slips deeper into depression and contemplates suicide. One morning, David wakes to find a solitary Pinkie Pie plushie sitting at the foot of his bed, with a note that says only "Hug this when you need a friend." Of course, David casually tosses this aside, but is oddly compelled to try it.

The wise and mysterious "They" have a couple of sayings about love.

Love isn't always on time.

Love hurts.

And distance makes the heart grow fonder.

"They" are wise for a reason. Applejack and Rarity know this all too well.

When the two friends finally admit their deepest feelings for each other, it couldn't have come at a worse possible time. With Rarity moving to Canterlot in less than a month, can their new relationship survive the distance? Or will it be too much for Applejack to endure?
