53.Late Night Snack

Pinkie fired up the oven and stumbled over to the kitchen counter to grab the ingredients for a cake. She slowly stirred the concoction; almost ending up in the batter herself when her eyes slid shut of their own accord.

She shook herself awake and carefully poured everything into the circular mold before putting that into the oven.

After the alarm had gone off and she’d taken her first bite out of the cake did she realise she’d forgotten the most important thing: the sugar. With a tired yawn she dragged herself back to bed. Snacks could wait until morning.
