There are only a few ponies she trusts to watch her back. Lifelong friends and allies that always stand by her when she needs them, no matter the consequences. She wishes they were here, covering for her like they always do. There are things she can’t burden them with, however. Some things she has to do alone. She takes a deep breath and steps into the disaster zone.

Alone.

Only a minute’s flight away, in a wooden treehouse, two fillies sit. They take turns sighing in boredom.

“Where’s Sweetie anyway?” the first asks.

“She had to clean her room, remember?”
