116. Wolves.

His had been a harsh life. Getting up in the mornings, fighting with his wooden siblings until it was time to hunt, and in the evenings, falling down in his hutch to sleep after another exhausting day.

All of that had ended when he splintered one of his legs on a hunt. In Everfree, the weak perished.

Strangely enough, he hadn’t. Something soft and yellow he thought was going to eat him, instead took him away before the other creatures of the forest got him.

His life was much simpler now that he had somepony to take care of him.
