Meditation, turning your thoughts inward and willing them to silence. I do it frequently, turning off my thinking and simply feeling the world for what is, rather than what I would like there to be.

You do not understand, it’s the one thing I could never teach you. Bless your inquisitive mind and your boundless enthusiastic curiosity for the joy it brings.

I wish I could keep you beside me. See the joy of discovery in those lovely lavender eyes. But when my mind is clear, I know I cannot.

If I truly love you, I must not cage you.
