Scootaloo stood over the grave, tears running down her cheeks and dropping to the ground; seemingly as dejected as she was.
“Y-you... you were the very best.” she choked out between sobs. “I’m so sorry, I never should have thought—” her monologue broke down and she simply wept.
The clouds broke, and a gentle rain shrouded the entire scene in a cascade of water. Scootaloo eventually departed, her tiny wings propelling her away from the makeshift Cemetery, leaving the solitary gravestone behind.
On the gravestone it said: “Here lies Scootaloo’s scooter. Built by the strongest hooves, broken by the fastest.”
