8.Candles

That many candles is going to be impossible, she is certain of it. Yet Twilight wouldn’t take no for an answer.

She remembers the weekend after Twilight had come to live at the Castle. Waking up one morning to find a young filly beaming at her, more white than purple, covered in flour and batter.

Twilight had smiled brightly and presented her with a cupcake which held a single candle.

Her thoughts are interrupted as the doors open to reveal the biggest cake she has ever seen, accompanied by a smiling young mare, more white than purple.

“Happy birthday princess.”
