Getting a taste of your own medicine sucked. When she had challenged Octavia, she’d already been slightly buzzed due to a great performance at the club. As a result, she couldn’t remember if she had set any rules, other than ‘first to puke loses’

She had no clue where her marefriend had found the whirling pink dervish that could knock back a jaegermare like it was water. Regardless of where it had come from, Vinyl had finally met her match.

As the bile rose in her throat, she knew that she owed Octavia an apology.
