172. Cowl

By day she was meek and apologetic about everything. A cover, much like the cowl she wore every night after tucking Angel bunny into bed.

Stalking through the streets didn’t get her paid any more than caring for animals did, but making sure ponies were safe was reward enough. Crime was not a concept ponies really understood, so her vigil was mostly for the creatures that roamed out of the Everfree.

She always called herself ‘Bravery’ with a guilty smile; feeling empowered when she left her timid nature and fear under her bed. She was almost like... a super hero.
